Story

Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. This little man may be the runt of the litter but he is anything but small in personality. He can hold his own wrestling his bigger siblings and doesn’t get bossed around because of his size. He is a sweet cuddler, very calm when you are petting or showing him love. Lupin is full of energy and loves his tiny tennis ball, and although he hasn’t mastered the game of fetch yet he has excellent potential. Lupin was dumped on a ranch with his three siblings. They have since be rescued and are getting the medical care they need. They will be ready for adoption come the beginning of May. Please note that the adopter will be responsible for finishing out his vaccinations and getting his neuter surgery completed. However, he thinks that if it means you and her can be together sooner, then that is worth it. He would do best with someone that wants the best of both worlds, energetic games of fetch and sweet cuddles.. He has a sweet side but cuddles only last so long when there is a whole world out there to explore. Moody has learned the joy of belly rubs and head scratches and will take a time out when you show him some love. Moody was dumped on a ranch with his three siblings. Will require 6 ft fence. No apartments.
