Story
Hello, this is MAX, 4 years old and 84 pounds. MAX and his son TYSON were owner surrendered because the owner was divorcing and could no longer care for them. Both are a little underweight but they are gaining it back quickly as they have healthy appetites! MAX is very friendly and has no aggression in any area. He is curious about other dogs and does well interacting with them. He has been in the home with a man and his wife and gets along with everyone. It has been a pleasure watching him play with toys and get acquainted with being in the house. This is a guy who would love to have a home of his own and he would be a loving and loyal companion. Story
This handsome hunk is Cooper and he would be a great addition to your family as he is a super lover who gets along with everyone. He is a funny boy though. He gets along fine with cats as long as they are in the house but once outside and a stranger to him, he will try to chase them. COOPER is 4 years old and weighs about 100 pounds. He is losing his home because sadly his owner was diagnosed with cancer and not able to care for COOPER any longer. He is just a tad bit overweight as he loves to help you eat! He is not a chewer but he loves his chew toys and treats. He is good with baths and everything else except touching his feet, not a big fan of that and will have to go to the vet to get his nails clipped. COOPER walks well on a leash without pulling and rides in the car without getting sick. He is familiar with being gentle around wheelchairs, medical beds and walking assistance devices, he seems to know he has to be careful. If you are interested in adopting COOPER, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
This cute little scruffy is BOBO who is a soft wire hair Terrier with some mini Schnauzer in him. He is 1 year old and weighs 15 pounds. I am so proud of BOBO because he has come into my home and truly adapted to a new environment that was totally foreign to him. He was owner surrendered along with his mother SANDRA and a younger brother ROSCOE from another litter. They are not bonded but ROSCOE follows BOBO everywhere. BOBO would be happy in a home that shows him love and head rubs that he runs to me to get in between playing. He is totally crate trained and potty trained and not a destroyer of personal items. He just learned to play with doggy toys and have fun with those. I know the pictures are not great but I will try to get some more soon. Judging by his coat and his mother, I think he will need to be groomed more like every 4 months and not as regularly as other similar breeds. If you are interested in adopting BOBO please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
PUDDIN was dumped along with her mother at a car dealership early one morning in San Antonio, TX. I am always suspect as to what could be wrong with a dog that their owner dumped them to fend for themselves. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with PUDDIN. She is very happy and trusting. She is obedient and learns very well. She can be a bit submissive as she rolls on her back for a belly rub right away and when she she playing with the other foster dogs. PUDDIN is 10 months old and weighs 14 pounds, we do not expect her to get any bigger because her mother PEACHES weighs the same thing. These 2 absolutely love to run zoomies in the backyard as soon as they go out to potty in the morning. They play with all of the foster dogs, big and small and loves playing chase with toys. 1 thing that is great about them is that they do not bark or engage in barking when the other dogs are barking at the door or nothing in particular. They sleep all night cuddled up together. Their potty training is going excellent, they hold it until the backdoor is open to go potty and since I do not have a doggy door, I open the backdoor often. I have videos I can text. Thank you. I would love for them to be adopted together but they do not need to be BUT since they like to play a lot, it would be ideal if there was another dog in the home. I do not have cats so I am not sure how they would do around cats. If you are interested in adopting PUDDIN, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
OLIVER is happy 5 year old youngster who weighs 14 pounds and runs around playing with toys when he is not playing with the other foster dogs. Completely obedient and a routine type of guy. He knows to get in his crate when it is time to eat or if I am leaving home. Totally crate trained although he knocks his food bowl over just because it is sitting on his bed that he loves to stretch out on and enjoy his nap time! He has no food or toy aggression, I only feed him in his crate because there are several dogs and it is easier in the foster home that way. OLIVER was owner surrendered by a lady who just decided that she did not want to have dogs any longer. He was a bit confused when he got here and it took him about 3 days to adjust to his new environment. Now he runs and plays and goes outside to potty with all of the dogs. He loves treats and I am guilty of giving him table food (chicken) but nothing too harsh for his belly. This boy walks very well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. He gets along with all of the foster dogs big and small. If you are interested in adopting OLIVER, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
Okay Frenchie lovers I am having great difficulty posting pictures of CROSBY, a female. Please text me at 713-882-2610 for her pictures or you can email me at roxysrescue@yahoo.com This is a beautiful girl that you will fall in love with. Little Miss Sunshine here is looking for a loving home to take her in. Her name is CROSBY, she is 3 years old and approximately 25 pounds. Her senior owner just fell and broke her hip and she is not longer able to take care of CROSBY. I have more pictures of CROSBY that I can text to you but I was not able to get them to attach on here. I also have video of her to share. She loves the water and you will see the joy in her when you play with her with the water hose. She walks very well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. The best thing about CROSBY is that you would be getting a very loyal and loving dog to be your best friend. She is so good in so many areas as a dog. The only caution is that CROSBY should be the only dog in the home because she does NOT like to share her humans with another dog. She will share you with another person but not another dog. CROSBY is a sucker for head and belly rubs. Toys are a big energy burner for her as she runs zoomies with them. She is a cuddle buddy and very loving and a semi-velcro dog. You would be getting a best buddy when adopting CROSBY. She is a pure breed merle Frenchie who plays with her toys and acts like the diva that she is. She has a unique look because she lost one eye due to trauma. This is not a disability for her and nothing on a medical basis needs to be done on a daily basis. She can see just fine with her one eye. If you are interested in adopting CROSBY, please submit an application on the website below or send me a text. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org
