Story
We got Kody from Joint Animal Services in Nov 2024. He was listed as being 1 year old so he’d be around 1 1/2 years now. He’s about 50 lbs. He sleeps on the couch, floor or on the bed. Loves playing ball and getting the fluff out of toys (doesn’t eat the fluff, just loves to pull it out). He is currently in training for crate and calming down when he gets overstimulated. He needs a home that has more space and where he can be more active and have a “job”.

Story
LYLA does not know her name but she is having a ball playing with all of the dogs in her foster home. She plays with them all, girls/boy, big & small. She is easy going, a mild-gentle girl to get along with. She does love coming up to get her head rubs and off again to go play with the dogs. She shares her food and bed and crate and shows no aggression in any area. LYLA is about 2 years old and 13 pounds and has reached her adult height and weight. She is mixed with Norfolk Terrier, a little Maltese that makes her hair straight and some other type of soft wire-hair terrier. She will need to be groomed about every 2-3 months, her hair does not grow very fast. She walks very well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. If you are interested in adopting LYLA, please call me or submit an application for adoption on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
Jameson, goes by Jamie for short! Is 3 years old and a super spunky, high energy, tennis-ball loving guy. Jamie loves to play and has such a sweet and bubbly personality. He’s a bit anxious but really is the biggest sweetheart once you get to know him. Would do best in a home with someone who has the time for him, a backyard or access to space for him to free roam!

Story
HI - MY NAME IS BRIE! I'm a 10-month-old Basenji mix in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh only 30 pounds! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother Franco (he also needs a home), and it was a pretty traumatic experience for us. But I'm now coming out of my shell, and am ready for a foster or forever home. Like many dogs I'll need some time to transition to a new life, but once I do, I'll be your best friend forever. I am a true medium-sized girl and would do great in a quiet home with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M BRODY! I'm a handsome red-and-white Pit Bull Terrier who needs a foster or forever home! I am about 4-years old, weigh 68 lbs., and am a lovebug with my person. I love to snuggle! I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back and now am in the Montesano area. Back in the day, I was a shelter favorite and helped the staff in the office. I also take treats gently. I have done well with other dogs in the past. I would probably do well with a calm female dog. I do have some resource guarding issues when it comes to food, but otherwise am a good boy. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M GEORGE. Why doesn't anyone want me? I'm a sweet 9-year-old Rottweiler-Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter a couple of years ago, where I shared a kennel with another dog. I am a mellow, older boy who needs a soft bed and a loving owner. I was abandoned by my previous owners and have done nothing to deserve that, but am ready for a new start in life. I will make a wonderful companion for someone who can be my companion. I have some arthritis but I am on glucosamine treats and they work wonders! I weigh about 74 pounds. If you can foster or adopt me, please email for an application.
