Story
December 26, 2025. This good looking guy is a great family pet. He gets along with everyone. Fun, playful and well-mannered. This pretty boy is MILO, a 1 year old, 45 pound lab mix and we are not sure what he is mixed with we know for sure that he is a great buddy to humans and super playful pet companion. MILO came to us from our very high kill city shelter when he was extremely emaciated and barely weighing 3 pounds at 3 months old. With much love and plenty of groceries, MILO quickly caught up and started enjoying life as a goofy dog. His goofiness has stayed him. MILO is fiercely loyal and very loving and of course he wants to be a lap dog but simply stands at my side and allows me to rub his head. If anyone else is getting attention, he runs over to get his share. MILO is also crate and house trained. Since he is in a foster home, he is normally crated when the human doggy momma has to leave the house because there are other fosters around of which MILO play very well with. He would love to have a home of his own where he will receive more attention and walks that he loves to do. If you are interested in adopted MILO, please call me or submit an application on the website below. Thank you for your interest. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
PUDDIN was dumped along with her mother at a car dealership early one morning in San Antonio, TX. I am always suspect as to what could be wrong with a dog that their owner dumped them to fend for themselves. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with PUDDIN. She is very happy and trusting. She is obedient and learns very well. She can be a bit submissive as she rolls on her back for a belly rub right away and when she she playing with the other foster dogs. PUDDIN is 10 months old and weighs 14 pounds, we do not expect her to get any bigger because her mother PEACHES weighs the same thing. These 2 absolutely love to run zoomies in the backyard as soon as they go out to potty in the morning. They play with all of the foster dogs, big and small and loves playing chase with toys. 1 thing that is great about them is that they do not bark or engage in barking when the other dogs are barking at the door or nothing in particular. They sleep all night cuddled up together. Their potty training is going excellent, they hold it until the backdoor is open to go potty and since I do not have a doggy door, I open the backdoor often. I have videos I can text. Thank you. I would love for them to be adopted together but they do not need to be BUT since they like to play a lot, it would be ideal if there was another dog in the home. I do not have cats so I am not sure how they would do around cats. If you are interested in adopting PUDDIN, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
This special little guy is RYAN. He is a 1 year old, 12 pound Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix who is simply a loyal lover. He is looking for someone to return his love. RYAN gets along with other dogs. I do not have cats so I am not sure how he would do in a cat home. RYAN was found in a very rural area with GROVER, a 1 year old male Chihuahua. They are best buds but they do not need to be adopted together. It would be nice but not necessary. He is not a barker and does not have an aggressive bone in his body. He was a hot mess of long matted hair when found but he was a true trouper while being groomed. He allowed the groomer to handle him and make him look gorgeous and feel better. If you are interested in adopting RYAN, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
Zola is a 2.5-year-old Husky/Malamute and Lab mix with the biggest heart and an even bigger personality. She’s the daughter of our two family dogs, so we’ve known her since day one, and she is truly the "snuggle bug" of the bunch. If you’re looking for a dog who will talk to you, smile when she's happy, and shower you with affection, Zola is your girl. She has grown up in a busy house full of kids and absolutely loves them. She’s also a great playmate for other dogs, though she’s still trying (and failing) to convince our cat to be her best friend. Zola is a high-energy, high-emotion girl who gets so excited to see her people that she sometimes has "happy pee" moments, so she’d do best with someone who understands that sensitive, enthusiastic side of her. She is great in her kennel at night and is honestly just a sweet, vocal, loving companion who wants to be part of the action. She’ll make a wonderful addition to a family who has plenty of room for kisses and conversation.

Bella

German Shepherd Dog Mutt

Female, Adult
Tumwater, WA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Bella is a beautiful, intelligent, loving 4yo German Shepherd mix. She’s great on leash, whether walking loosely by your side or in a heel. She enjoyed basic training class, mastering commands like sit, down, and stay. Bella is eager to please, very smart, and picks up new commands quickly. She thrives with structure and would make a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys training & spending quality time with their dog. Bella would do best as an only pet or with very slow and supervised introductions to other animals. While she currently lives with two other dogs, she gets along well with only one and has shown aggression toward the other with one attack requiring stitches. Due to this, she’s best suited for a home where she doesn’t need to share her space with other pets or where the adopter has experience with carefully managing dog introductions. Bella is loving and loyal. If you’re looking for a smart trainable companion who loves going on walks, Bella might be for you!
