Story
Meet Dakota:  Dakota is an 10 week old (as of March 15, 2024) Husky/Shepherd mix (best guess) that weighs around 10 lbs. This beautiful litter of 9 (Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, Cedar, Aspen, Nero, Apollo, Cosmo, Dakota and Blaze) were surrendered by their owners to us because they could no longer care for them. Dakota is currently being fostered in Harrisburg, PA and would love to meet her forever family. Dakota is friendly, loving, playful, and loves to cuddle. Dakota has been good with other dogs, both big and small. Dakota is crate trained and still working on her house training.  We would love for Dakota to have a home with a fence so she can play and run freely. Dakota is up-to-date on her shots and will be spayed when age appropriate. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please go to charliescrusaders.org and fill out an application. CURRENT LOCATION: Foster home in Harrisburg, PA 17112  ##1995087##

Story
Lana was found on February 20, 2024 and was very pleasant as she wandered the street. She was easy to leash and came willingly with her now foster mom. Lana appears to have been well cared for and would definitely love to be able to cuddle on the sofa or a bed (but she is not currently allowed to do so). She likes belly rubs and loves to play fetch and catch (she'll get her ball and "throw" it at you to let you know she wants to play). She will destroy any toy of the fabric variety so give these to her only when you feel you have a few dollars to throw away and to give her some entertainment, lol. But don't leave her alone with it as she will eat the fabric! The ideal toys are soft rubber, but once the toy hardens, dispose of it because it then becomes a "let's see if we can eat this object" to her. Lana would love to be able to run around off leash - dog zoomies are an occasional thrill for her and fun to watch. Lana saw the kids in the yard behind me playing basketball and sat to watch them play (since she couldn't join in) so I'm pretty sure she would love playing with kids. She's energetic so watch her around small children - don't want them to get knocked over. Lana listens well and understands when a timeout is needed (mostly due to over stimulation and needing a rest) and will willingly lay in her crate and will also just go there to rest. She gets really excited around young men so that leads me to believe that's who was possibly spoiling her. She does need to control her excitement and we are working on that. Lana likes toilet paper rolls so do not leave her alone with access to the bathroom!! She will unroll and eat the cardboard tube! Lana's a really sweet dog. Only damage done besides the toilet paper was to her doggie bed. But that was really my fault because I had to leave the house and did not check to be sure her toys were in the kitchen (where I block her in) before I left. Lana will adapt to your schedule easily. Instinct says she may do well with an older dog but definitely no small dogs/cats/animals.

Story
Oh man. Luna, I love you so much. Luna is a 6-year old husky/aussie mix. I got her from her previous owner that surrendered her due to her reactivity with other dogs. They had a family of goldens and things just weren't workout for them. This was in May of 2020 and I've had Luna for close to 4 years. I've taken her to hikes all over Washington, the Canadian Rockies, and even Alaska. I've moved back to the east coast to spend some time with family and with new work that requires more frequent international traveling, I'm looking to find a new loving home for Luna. She doesn't do well with other dogs and cats and will need to be the only pet in the household. She's house-trained and does extremely well with kids. She's still a bit reactive so it'll be important to keep this in mind when walking her in public. I can share much more detail in what has worked for me in the 4 years I've had her and things that should be avoided.

**BLITZEN'S ADOPTION FEE IS FULLY SPONSORED!**Blitzen is a stunning Siberian Husky who is 9 years old and weighs 85 lbs. Blitzen came to All 4 Paws from a commercial kennel after he was retired from his breeding duties. Blitzen is very friendly and social - he was born to be a companion! He enjoys meeting new friends and has loved everyone he's met. He walks great on leash, and does best with he has two good walks a day for exercise. He'd benefit from a dog experienced family that knows a little about Huskies and their behaviors. Blitzen can be stubborn but also equally silly - everything you'd expect from a Husky! He'll charm you, make you laugh, and keep you on your toes in the very same moment! He has gorgeous eyes and a plush coat that we could pet for hours! His ideal home would have family home often, as he is still getting used to being alone in the home, without other pets. Blitzen has been waiting for months for his forever home - someone who will be patient with him and allow him to blossom and reach his full potential. He just needs is a chance! Meet Buster! The gentlest and sweetest dog on the planet. He weighs just over 60 lbs. He loves to be outside and snuggle on the couch, plus he is well-mannered. He is excellent with people (including children of all ages) and other dogs. He has never lived with a cat, but has had no issues with meeting them. Buster is gentle, fast, agile, and can be a bit mischievous when he is left alone. He is crated when he is home alone and is comfortable in his crate. He has some anxiety associated with loud noises (thunder, fireworks). He will seize any opportunity to run away, so he would be best suited with a family who can help him stay safely in the house/yard. We love Buster so much and hope to find him a family who will love him just as much and give him the safe environment he needs to live a happy and peaceful life.

Story
Glacier is a 9 year old spayed female Siberian Husky who weighs 39 lbs. Glacier came to All 4 Paws from a commercial kennel after she was retired from breeding. Watching this gorgeous girl blossom in her foster home has been so heartwarming! She is looking for an experienced family willing to help her continue to learn about her new life as a beloved pet and to keep her safe. Glacier loves to sing songs in typical Husky fashion and has a beautiful singing voice! Being around other dogs really seems to boost her confidence, so we think it would be best for Glacier's new home to have another dog to help show her the ropes. She is doing well with her training and enjoys going for walks with her pack around the neighborhood. Naps on the couch are equally enjoyable. She has really started to blossom in her foster home, giving paw for a treat and rolling over for belly rubs. Her silly personality and sass keep her foster family entertained! Glacier has the prettiest coloring and crystal blue eyes that will make you melt the moment you gaze into them. We cannot wait to continue to watch this beautiful girl blossom!
