Story
SOFIA IS SPECIAL NEEDS AND IS IN NEED OF A SPONSOR. SHE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Hello everyone, My name is Sofia and my personality is as big as my beautiful name. I'm a 11-year-old small 8-pound Bichon Frise mix. I am fun, loving and full of spirit! They call me a SPECIAL NEEDS PUP. I took a fall before becoming a BROC BABE and the doctors said I would NEVER walk again due to a spinal cord rupture. But my foster mom says I have the will to get wherever I want, nothing holds me back. My BROC Aunties got some custom wheels for me and you should see me run. I'm like a horse in its chariot, and I must say, I do look adorable. I take walks with and without my wheels, I walk with all my fur siblings and chase bunnies like no other but I need my wheels at times. My foster mom loves me and takes great care of me. I am still practicing walking and recovering and could use some help with my medical bills and daily needs. If you’d like to sponsor me, please use the link below. Thank you! Story
Hi, I’m Joyful Jay! 💙 I’m a darling little 5 year old, 11-pound Bichon/Maltese mix with a HUGE personality packed into this tiny body. I adore my human and happiest when I’m right by your side — your little shadow, your cuddle buddy, your loyal best friend. I’m not a big barker, I’m housebroken, and my foster mama says I’m “all that and a bag of chips.” (I’m not exactly sure what that means… but I’m pretty sure it’s amazing.) If you’re looking for a sweet, devoted little guy to share your heart and home, I just might be the one for you. Please visit bichonrescueoc.org and submit an adoption application to meet me. I can’t wait to find my forever family!

Story
Stanley is a 7 year old, 70 lb pit bull mix. He is great in the house and is house broken. He is a lot of fun and goofy at times with his stuffed animal toys. He is a great watch dog and barks when the doorbell rings or home deliveries. We have a new baby and Stanley is reactionary to new sounds. We can’t risk the safety of our baby with a reactionary dog. He would be great in a no child, no other pet home.

Story
Hi everyone 💕 My name is Tina, and I’m an adorable six-year-old Bichon/Maltese mix with the sweetest little angel face you’ve ever seen. I’m quiet, gentle, loving, and I know all my manners but I need to be an only dog. I’m the kind of girl who just wants to be by your side, soaking up love and giving it right back. I’ve got so much sweetness in my heart — now I just need a forever home that will cherish and spoil me the way I deserve. If you think you might be my perfect match, please submit an application at bichonrescueoc.org. I can’t wait to meet you! 💗

Story
Hi, my name is Dexter. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who got dealt a bad hand in life, but I am not letting that get me down. I live life to my fullest despite my mobility issues! I'm a seven year-old bundle of energy and joy. I'm a Maltese-poodle mix (who looks an awful lot like a Bichon, in my auntie's opinion!) I was born with a neurological disorder that affects my equilibrium and my ability to walk--but I don't let that get me down! I'm too smart for that...nothing stops me. BROC has equipped me with the latest and greatest doggie wheels, of course, and I'm a champion driver--but even without wheels I can scramble around the yard to chase my foster brother - as well as any other dog. My technique might not win awards, but I don't care! I get to where I want to go, with or without wheels. Speaking of "go"...I am fully housebroken. All I need is someone to take me to the "potty place" a few times a day (same as any other dog), and that is one of the reasons I need a special person. You see, I can't get to the yard on my own, and it isn't safe for me to be alone out there anyway. My special person also would need to ensure my safety in the home. Being that I'm not so graceful, my person needs to make sure the home is safe - without things that could harm me if I were to, let's say, meet them head-on at cruising speed. My current foster mom created a large, enclosed "Dexter Den" for me, complete with a big bed, my favorite toys, water of course, and plenty of space to move around. I stay in my den when my foster mom needs to leave the house. When she's home, I just hang out in my den or roam around. The bottom line is this: Apart from my neurological condition, I am a very normal, healthy dog who is full of joy and very loving. Everyone I meet falls in love with me, because I know how to put on the charm! I don't require a lot of work, but I do need special help and attention...thus it takes a special person. If you have room in your heart and home for delightful me, please complete an adoption application. https://bichonrescueoc.org/adoption-applicationk
