With proper introductions, she’s the dog who will become fast friends with everyone. True to her breed she’s a quick learner & knows many commands, has excellent recall & walks well on leash. She learned the rules & routine so quickly she’s been a joyful addition to her foster home. She loves DEEPLY & just wants to be someone’s loyal companion for life!... Whether it’s going on a hike, a car ride, a game of fetch or laying at your feet while you work or relax. Story
Because I have been diagnosed with cancer, I am no longer able to properly care for my dog, so I am hoping to find her a new home. She has a timid personality, but she is very loyal to her owner. During the time I have cared for her, she has never damaged furniture. She is fearful of strangers and unfamiliar dogs, and she is not friendly toward strangers or other pets. I hope her next owner will be a patient and loving person who can treat her with kindness and understanding.

Story
Lucy and her brother Max are loving dogs with kind spirits looking for their forever home. They get a long great with kids, and when introduced to other dogs they are also well adapted. Lucy is very much attached to her brother, she will be anxious without him so they really need to be rehomed together. Both dogs are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and love to be around people. My mom and sister have nursed them into a healthy weight, as they were found starving on the streets for what vets guessed to be weeks. They have a big bark, but no bite. I have a 6yr old and 2yr old and whenever we are outside the kids are safe and the dogs are mellow around them. Unfortunately it is a lot of work for my mother to give them the exercise they need and she has some health issues that restrict her from taking them on walks especially since it's two of them. My younger sister has a busy schedule with work and school so we are happy to house them until they find the right family to take them in.
