Story
Please note: No out of state adoptions. California only. Little Charlotte is growing up fast and ready for her forever home! She is going to be a BIG girl! Charlotte is now 3 months old and 12 lbs. Her DNA shows her as a standard poodle mixed with English Sheepdog and Saint Bernard, she will probably be between 30-60 pounds when grown. Rescued at 3 weeks old, bottle fed and raised by her foster family. She is super smart and already close to being potty trained, loves her toys and learning about wearing a harness and walking. She loves a sniff around the yard, and can’t wait to start going on walkies. Charlotte sleeps through the night in her crate. She has typical puppy energy and will need a patient adopter to help her learn all the best manners a puppy can have. She isn’t worried though, because she is a great student! She is vaccinated and will need to be spayed. No apartment living, no out of state adoptions.

Story
Maya is a 10 month old Belgian Malinois mixed with Great Pyrenees. Maya was adopted from the Western Riverside County Animal Shelter. She is a very loving, friendly, playful and young beautiful pet. Unfortunately my son and daughter in law are having their first baby in less than a month and we need to rehome her to a loving family or person. Since she is so young and full of energy, they are just worried that they will not have enough time with her once the baby is born and would like to rehome her to someone who will be able to give her the time and love she deserves. They live in an apartment and she is trained to be taken outside to use the restroom and not on a potty pad. She will not go in the house but will let you know when she is ready to go out. We would like someone who has the heart to love her the way she loves others. She will melt her face in her hand to show you love, she has just a beautiful soul and heart. She sometimes forgets that she is a big baby, but loves.

Story
She is approximately three years old. I adopted her from the Pomona Valley Shelter after my previous dog passed away. I was looking to give my other dog a companion, and she immediately stood out because of her sweet, loving personality. Over the past month, my dogs have gotten into two serious fights, including one late at night. Because of this, I am worried that continuing to keep them together could result in someone getting seriously hurt. This decision comes from wanting to do what is safest and best for everyone involved, especially her. She would thrive as an only dog. She is incredibly affectionate, loves attention, and absolutely enjoys being petted. She has a lot of energy and loves going on walks and hikes. She is an outdoor dog but sleeps comfortably in the garage at night and does very well with that routine. She is a very sweet, people-loving dog. She may jump up when excited because she’s eager to show affection, but she is trainable and has already been improving.

Story
Meet sweet puppy Biscuit. An approximate 4-month-old male golden fluffy pup. He's more than likely a golden retriever mix and we do not know his family background. Same ol' story of a friend of a friend that gave the dog to someone and then suddenly they couldn't keep him due to whatever excuses people come up with these days. However, Biscuit has landed himself in a secure rescue with a loving foster family and other doggies to socialize him well with. As with any typical puppy, Biscuit will need continued basic training which he is getting at his foster home. He is very new to rescue so we are learning more about Biscuit and will post as we get to know him better. What we do know is that Biscuit is an extremely sweet pup and is looking for his forever family or person to call his own. Puppies and ALL dogs are a commitment so please me mindful when considering a new family companion. For an application, please text 626-488-747 or email: oneheartrescue@yahoo.com Any questions, please text or call. Biscuit is current on his vaccines and is too young to be neutered at this age, but this will be required once he is older. Adoption fee $275 to help put a slight dent into all the expenses that go with rescuing a dog/pup.

Story
Chani was rescued from the L.A. shelter, where she was listed as a Cairn Terrier mix. She is about 4 years old and weighs a healthy 12lbs. They said she was super sweet and friendly, and they were not wrong. Chandi can be a little shy at first, but will let you approach her if she knows she will get pets or treats. After that she can be your best friend. Needless to say, she is great with people and just wants to be near her person and snuggle up next to them. She loves pillows too and when she has her favorite, she does not share. She is great with other dogs. They all seem to love her sweet nature. Chandi blended in immediately with her foster dogs and found a playmate with one of them. They chase each other until they can’t no more. She can be talkative, like she’s trying to tell you something. You just have to figure out what. She is good on walks, uses a doggie door, is potty trained and loves cuddles. We have her updated on her vaccines, is spayed and micro chipped. We think she is deserving of all the love, affection & commitment that a new pet parent or family could offer her. If she sounds like the right fit for you or have any questions, please email us at heartandhomerescueorg@gmail.com.
