Story
My Story: My name is Xena!! I was living on a construction site for 3 weeks until I was rescued. I was likely abandoned by my previous owner 😭 I am being fostered until I find the perfect family. Right now I live with two adults, a 9 year old girl, a tortoise, some chickens and 2 cats. I am especially attached to my foster daddy, and I am very protective and gentle with my foster sister.About Me: I am 9-12 months oldFemale Belgian Malinois/German mix65 poundsspayedNo chipCurrent on rabies/DA2PP shotsLikes and dislikes: I am good with kids. I am cautious/timid around people with their dogs, especially little dogs, but after some time I warm up. I love riding in the backseat because I think I am a K9 dog. I also love being wherever you are; my foster parents call me velcro dog. I enjoy zoomies, cuddles, mental stimulation, and stability. I need a lot of exercise and interaction, and I love chasing lizards. The right person who understands my breed could train me to do amazing things!

Story
Remy joined our family when he was 4 months old back in 2022. He is a 4.5 year old pure bred American White Lab. It breaks my heart to even be writing any of this, but my husband and I have come to the extremely impossible decision that Remy deserves a better home than what we can give him right now. We just had our first son who is 9 months old. We are a firefighter and a nightshift nurse, and these days we find that Remy isn’t getting the attention he so desperately wants and deserves. He is such a lover. He loves to cuddle, sleep, EAT, and most of all play ball. He is house trained, he hasn’t gone potty in the house since he was a puppy. I feel like his purpose in life is to be a good companion and right now we just don’t have the time to dedicate to him. I dream of him going to a home where he will have someone who can give him lots of love and attention. One thing I do want to be upfront about is he sheds ALOT, is very food driven, but doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body.

Story
Three months ago, this sweet stray dog —now named Cleo— was sadly abandoned and found hiding in my driveway. She was exhausted, hungry, frightened, and in desperate need of help. After taking her to the vet, I learned that Cleo had a large hernia that made simple tasks incredibly difficult for her and required multiple surgeries. Luckily, Cleo is a resilient gal and is now healed, thriving and looking for her forever home 😊 We’re looking for the right person or family to adopt Cleo and open their home to this tough little lady. If you think that could be you — or if you know someone who may be interested — please reach out. A little more about Cleo: • 12 pounds • Chiweenie/terrier mix with a big heart and even bigger ears • Estimated to be around 7 years old • Spayed and up to date on all her shots • Loves naps, long walks, sunshine, and curling up into a little croissant • Friendly with people, kids and other dogs (even the bigger ears)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Her shots are almost due. She’s 8 yrs old (12/22/17) and had Banfield pet insurance for 8 yrs. I live alone with no husband or kids and so I don’t know how she will do as she only has is around my friends and family and their pets who are all familiar to her. She knows not to use the restroom in the house, but that’s my house and new environments are unknown at times and she occasionally makes a nervous pee. I am a creature of habit and a loner so she is used to that. She loves people. She is fearful of big dogs in general but she has quite a few around her that she knows and is perfectly fine around.

Chocolata

Boxer Doberman Pinscher

Female, Adult

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Chocolata was my 92-year-old father's dog, but unfortunately, he is no longer able to provide the care & attention she needs. I would love to keep Chocolata myself, but I already have a dog and a cat, and my tenant in the back house also has a dog. With multiple animals on the property, I am simply unable to give Chocolata the home and individual attention she deserves. Chocolata is a very sweet & gentle soul who was a wonderful companion to my elderly father. She loves affection, cuddling, and often thinks she's a lap dog! She also loves being outdoors and going on walks to explore. I think Chocolata would thrive in a home where she can receive lots of individual attention, ideally as the only dog, as she can become jealous when other animals are receiving attention. A home with a yard and someone who enjoys taking walks would be wonderful for her. Giving Chocolata up is a very difficult decision, and it is not because of anything she has done. I truly wish I were able to keep her.
