Story
Draco was acquired from a backyard breeder at the age of 8weeks old. Now he is a little under 3 years of age and he is a wonderful dog, but is anxious and can be owner protective. He is a happy dog with a good amount of energy and drive. Draco has not bitten anybody but will bark at strangers when I am, or any family member is, around trying to be protective of us. It is saddening to let go of Draco but it is the best solution for the pet to live a better life. I am not asking for an adoption fee due to the fact that I don't want it to seem like I am trying to profit from the dog, and all I ask is for Draco to be loved in his new home. Thank you in advance.

Story
Ghost is a pure bread Dogo Argentino and comes from a good pedigree line. He is house trained and has done the basic behavioral trainings. Unfortunately, there are instances where he has gotten aggressive with our children. So we do not recommend him to go to a household with children. Definitely will need a strong owner who can continue on with his training. Otherwise, is so lovable, a big baby, loves to go on walks, and is a good protector of the house.

Story
Hello, Bella is a Lab Mix I had adopted on 10/25/25. She is estimated to be 3 years old and recently had babies. She was found on the street and taken in by Castaic Animal Control. She has been spayed and is up to date with all of her shots. She is extremely calm and friendly with other dogs and people. Due to her traumatic background, she is in need of someone who can care and love for her deeply with a fairly open schedule. Ideally, she should be walked at least twice a day and she is also an early riser with a set sleeping schedule. She goes to sleep around 8:30-9:30pm and is awake no later than 6:30am. She has plenty of energy in the morning and requires a morning walk to meet her needs. I have tried but my lifestyle is not suitable for her since I live in an apartment off a Main Street with plenty of background noise and limited space as well as recently losing my job and needing to be open to opportunities that require me to not be home as much since (M-F 9-5, frequent travel)

Story
Meet Freddy, an approx 2 year old 50lb best bully boy! He was abandoned by a homeless person on the green belt. Since he has been with us he has been fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, heart worm negative, all shots included leptospirosis. He is a snuggle bug who thinks he's a lap dog at 50lbs. His favorite pastime is snuggling in your blanket and he loves long walks...anywhere! He is not food aggressive, is learning basic commands and crate training quickly, is house trained and doggie door trained. He is ready for his forever home. Could that be you? Location: Long Beach, California Adoption fee: $75

Mutt Labrador Retriever

Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Keiko is an 11-year-old "puppy" who enjoys sunbathing as much as she still enjoys playing rough with her humans. I've had her for 4 years through many moves, which are starting to take a toll on her. She can be defensive and mistrusting of new people, but settles down after a week of being treated like a princess. She does not do well with other animals in the home, and can be defensive if mad-dogged on the street. I'm looking for her "sundown owner": a stay-at-home or retired adopter who can give her the attention and stability she needs at this stage of life. She is in good health considering her age and has had regular vet care. She enjoys a regular schedule of walks and meal-times, cannot get enough sunbathing, and loves gentle, consistent loving attention. Her first few owners did not care for her well; she has an embedded collar scar and had spinal surgery about 5-6 years ago. Long Beach locals preferred.
