Cruz is loving and energetic! He is a sweet dog and loves to cuddle. We would love to give him more time, we just have two children under 6 and they weren’t prepared. They work well together but the timing isn’t right.

Story
Meet an incredibly sweet, large terrier mix who is looking for a fresh start after being found abandoned. He is already neutered, fully house-trained, and has very low-energy—making him the ultimate laid-back companion. Because his history with other pets and kids is unknown, he is looking for a calm, mature, adults-only home where he can snooze the day away by your side. If you have room on your couch for a gentle giant, he’s ready to meet you!

Story
He is a year and a half (Dec 18 2024) UTD on all shots and neutered, no medical issues He knows basic commands like sit, down, place Great with other dogs, and would strive in a home where he has a active sibling Not sure about cats, he does have a active drive and tends to chase deer He LOVES water and swimming, could possibly go into water sports! Raider is a goofy guy! I personally have watched him multiple times and he is a fun dog for sure. He would strive in a sport home, or a home where he could go on hikes/walks multiple times daily. He has tons of energy, extremely smart, loving, and either to please (think "Teachers Pet"). He deserves a home where he's given a job, and where he is able to reach his full potential.

Story
5 year old mixed breed (shelter said hound/shepherd mix). Adopted @ 8 weeks from a shelter in Illinois. He can be such a sweet dog - so friendly, loves to cuddle, is playful, & loves every human he meets! He is happy being both active & lazy - loves walks, hikes, & playing outside, but can also be a huge couch potato.Reasons for rehoming:intense separation anxiety and unhealthy attachment. Extremely attached to me & acts like my husband (his other owner) is a threat, seemingly at random. He will resource guard me. He has bitten my husband before while very escalated and stressed. it hasn't happened in a while & wasn't bad, but important to note. We are now expecting a baby and feel this is unsafe. We have worked with vets (meds), group trainers, & private trainers but it hasn't improved. Because of the unhealthy dynamic that has formed, we think he would be much happier in a different home with an experienced owner. He is really such a sweet dog and has so much love to give.
