Story
Meet an incredibly sweet, large terrier mix who is looking for a fresh start after being found abandoned. He is already neutered, fully house-trained, and has very low-energy—making him the ultimate laid-back companion. Because his history with other pets and kids is unknown, he is looking for a calm, mature, adults-only home where he can snooze the day away by your side. If you have room on your couch for a gentle giant, he’s ready to meet you!

-85 lbs -9 years old -No food or toy aggression -Loves to sit in a yard, doesn’t run around much so it’s not required. She does love to roll in the snow. -has never been crated (except at the shelter 4 years ago) -barks at strangers. Has never lunged or snapped at a human. -Timid with strangers, especially men. -Great with kids and babies. -Excellent guard dog for your home without being a threat to anyone’s safety. -Does not jump up on anything—people, counters, furniture, etc. -Doesn’t chew furniture or dig in trash, won’t even play with dog toys. (Basically a big cat) -wants to be near you always, but not on top of you. She would do well with someone who wants a calm companion. -MUST BE THE ONLY PET IN THE HOME. While she has had extensive training and socialization with other dogs, she can be reactive with other animalls. -Knows Sit, Wait (stay) Let’s go (frees her from a command), Shake,Down, Heel,Leave it (used when she sees another dog), go potty.

Story
King is a 10-year-old Shih Tzu who has been a beloved member of our family his entire life. We are looking for a caring home that can provide the extra love and attention a senior dog deserves. King is a calm, laid-back companion who enjoys a quiet environment. He is house-trained, independent, and tends to be more of a loner than a social butterfly. His favorite activities include relaxing indoors, taking leisurely walks, and sitting outside on sunny days. King has some skin issues that developed as a side effect of medication, so his coat is kept short to help keep him comfortable. He would do best with someone who appreciates a gentle, low-maintenance companion and can provide a peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years. He is relaxed, well mannered, and can be won over with treats and rubs.

Story
Easy-going pet! Loves walks, treats, and snuggles. She is potty-trained and can stay out of a kennel, just make sure you don't leave any trash cans available or she'll get into them for snackies. She has never bitten anyone and is gentle. She has a beagle bellow and is very talkative. Enjoys tug-of-war with stuffies and lots of pets.

Cruz is loving and energetic! He is a sweet dog and loves to cuddle. We would love to give him more time, we just have two children under 6 and they weren’t prepared. They work well together but the timing isn’t right.
