Story
Meet Minnie, a 4-month-old Great Pyrenees mix and future reality-TV icon in training. For a puppy, she’s surprisingly low energy—think brunch, nap, snack, repeat—but she’s still playful when the mood (or toys or treats) strike. Minnie is good with both dogs and cats, kennel trained, and actively improving her potty training like the overachiever she is. She’s smart, food-motivated, and would absolutely learn calculus if paid in peanut butter. Minnie loves to cuddle, nap on soft humans, and watch reality TV; her current binge is The Traitors, and while she’d definitely be a Faithful, her confessionals would be elite levels of shade. She’s the perfect puppy for someone who appreciates a chill, cuddly, mildly dramatic house hippo that enjoys lazy nights and tiny snacks. Adopt Minnie now—before she becomes booked and busy! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NAF/Dog

Meet Xena — the little warrior princess of love! This sweet girl is overflowing with cuddles, kisses, and nonstop tail wags. Xena’s heart is as big as her smile, and she’s always ready to share it with anyone who gives her a moment of attention. She appears to get along great with other dogs, is playful, and is wonderful with kids — gentle, goofy, and full of joy. Xena is also the total package: she’s housebroken, crate trained, and she walks on a leash, though she does pull a bit and is still working on her leash skills. Whether she’s snuggling up for movie time or exploring the outdoors, Xena brings sunshine wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will shower you with affection every single day, Xena is your girl! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NAF/Dog

Story
Peanut is one happy, sweet, and resilient pup with a heart full of love. He absolutely adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Despite a rough start, Peanut’s gentle and joyful spirit truly shines. Peanut was found as a stray and taken to a local shelter, where he narrowly avoided being placed on the euthanasia list. He was pulled by another rescue and quickly adopted, but sadly was let down when his adopter stopped responding and never followed through with care or records. Thankfully, we were able to track down his history and welcome this special boy safely into our rescue. For a teenage pup, Peanut is incredibly well-mannered. He knows how to sit, is eager to learn more, and is very treat-motivated, especially when paired with “good boy” praise! He enjoys car rides, walks nicely on leash, and loves spending time with his people. Peanut is both house-trained and kennel-trained and would make a wonderful family dog or the perfect best friend for a human and or canine companion. He’s ready for a fresh start and a forever home that will love him the way he deserves. Peanut is in San Antonio, TX His adoption fee for out of state includes transport with health certificate. A video meet and greet is required for adoption. If interested, please completed the adoption application either via the link below or click the button in the pet search website. Meet Ash! I’m a one-year-old, handsome, happy-go-lucky pup with the most charming ears you’ve ever seen and a whole lot of energy to match. I absolutely love life and thrive on being around people—my tail wags for everyone I meet, including kids and other dogs. Whether I’m chasing a ball at the park, going for a walk, or settling in for a cozy TV marathon on the couch, I’m always all in. I’m friendly, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles, belly rubs, or a well-earned nap by your side. I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and working on my basic commands, doing my best to be a well-mannered companion. With my playful antics and loving heart, there’s never a dull moment with me around, and I’m quickly mastering the art of cuddling—nothing makes me happier than curling up next to you after a fun day outdoors. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NAF/Dog
