Story
Hopper is a 4 year old, very playful male in need of a good home with a yard to play in. I acquired this pup earlier this year when my dad passed. My mom has health issues and was unable to care for him so I agreed to take him in temporarily. Unfortunately, my landlord will not allow me to keep him. He was born on October 31st so every year on his birthday, my dad would put a cute costume on Hopper and let him help pass out candy to kids on his birthday! This boy is very sweet and affectionate, loves to be pet and played with, but gets a little skittish at bath time. I am unaware of his vaccination status, but he is in very good health. Please help me find a good home for this beautiful, good boy!

Story
Princess is my elderly Aunt's dog and she can no longer take care of Princess. My Aunt is moving into assisted living and Princess cannot go with her. It's heartbreaking. Princess is very friendly and has been a great companion. Princess loves to be outdoors where she can run. Princess would love a new home with a large yard.

Story
Buckeye Bull Terrier Rescue is looking for the right Forever Adoptive Home for Mia! Let’s get this sweet girl Adopted! Mia is a little over 2 years old, Has been fixed, UTD on shots, Heartworm negative and recently had a dental and been fully vetted. She is a sweet, energetic young bull terrier but has some anxiety and overstimulation issues she needs help working through. She has a facial deformity that has been diagnosed as a birth defect and veterinarian’s through exams and xrays believe there is no cause for alarm and she has no visual impairments. Her new home will need to be patient as she excites easily and is overstimulated with the transition from country living to city life. I do not believe she had much early socialization. She will need someone willing to put in the time and patience with training and helping her relax in new situations. She will need work on the leash (she is a puller) and in public situations. She appears to be Dog friendly but gets very excited when see’s other dogs and want to visit all the dogs. She would do best in home with older children or no children as she excites easily and wants to play. Crate Trained and currently living with a Foster who has been helping her get socialized, vetted and trained. Unknown how she is with cats snd smsll animals. Adoption Fee, Application and Home Check Required Please Contact me for more information or for an application Please Share and help this Girl find her forever people

Story
Erin is a very friendly girl. She greets new people with a swish of her fluffy tail and likes to give kisses. She has a playful personality and likes to jump up for attention and hugs. She can be silly, cuddly and has a sweet temperament. Erin gets along well with other dogs and loves her best little friend Al. Al and Erin have been through a lot together and seem to be bonded, so we are seeking a family that would be willing to adopted both of these sweethearts. Double the fun, double the love!!! This little girl found herself in a very bad predicament. She was found as a stray on the streets of Texas and ended up heading for the euth room, not to any fault of her own. The shelters there are so overwhelmed with large numbers of intakes coming daily and this was almost the end for poor sweet Erin. We had saved her kennel mate and we knew we couldn't leave her to die. She is with us in Ohio now and is looking for a wonderful, forever family. Could it be you? Please submit an application on our website, canaananimalsanctuary.org, to meet this sweetheart!

Story
Butch was so frightened when arriving to us, but who wouldnt have been. Picked up as a stray with his buddy, Billy. Taken to the shelter where he was minutes from losing his life. Then transported across the country with lots of other barking and frightened pups. It’s been a whirlwind of stressful events. But even so, Butch began to relax slightly after a few days and after a week he allowed us to touch him. It just takes a little time and patience. Billy warms up a lot faster, but with time these two will be a delightful addition to any family. We are looking for someone with the time and patience to bring the best out in this sweet boy who Wants so badly to trust and believe there is good that exists in this scary world. At not quite three weeks we are now receiving kisses from Butch. Both boys are vaccinated, neutered, flea and tick treated and microchipped. Please submit an application to meet these sweet little guys. Canaananimalsanctuary.org
