Story
Daisy is a 10 month old husky mix. True to husky nature she is playful, energetic, intelligent (with selective hearing), and has a love for adventure (leash required). Daisy is completely housebroken and trained to use a bell chain to alert she needs to go out. Crate trained but recently permitted to stay out during the night. Potential adopters may consider a fenced yard. Daisy currently lives in a home with a cat, dog and children. While she loves to play, her fur mates are not as keen with her big-husky puppy energy.

Story
Erin is a very friendly girl. She greets new people with a swish of her fluffy tail and likes to give kisses. She has a playful personality and likes to jump up for attention and hugs. She can be silly, cuddly and has a sweet temperament. Erin gets along well with other dogs and loves her best little friend Al. Al and Erin have been through a lot together and seem to be bonded, so we are seeking a family that would be willing to adopted both of these sweethearts. Double the fun, double the love!!! This little girl found herself in a very bad predicament. She was found as a stray on the streets of Texas and ended up heading for the euth room, not to any fault of her own. The shelters there are so overwhelmed with large numbers of intakes coming daily and this was almost the end for poor sweet Erin. We had saved her kennel mate and we knew we couldn't leave her to die. She is with us in Ohio now and is looking for a wonderful, forever family. Could it be you? Please submit an application on our website, canaananimalsanctuary.org, to meet this sweetheart!

Story
Butch was so frightened when arriving to us, but who wouldnt have been. Picked up as a stray with his buddy, Billy. Taken to the shelter where he was minutes from losing his life. Then transported across the country with lots of other barking and frightened pups. It’s been a whirlwind of stressful events. But even so, Butch began to relax slightly after a few days and after a week he allowed us to touch him. It just takes a little time and patience. Billy warms up a lot faster, but with time these two will be a delightful addition to any family. We are looking for someone with the time and patience to bring the best out in this sweet boy who Wants so badly to trust and believe there is good that exists in this scary world. At not quite three weeks we are now receiving kisses from Butch. Both boys are vaccinated, neutered, flea and tick treated and microchipped. Please submit an application to meet these sweet little guys. Canaananimalsanctuary.org

Story
Meet Kimber - if you are looking for a low maintenance dog that loves to watch TV, cuddle, play with toys, and curl up in blankets, and share naps, this is your girl. Shes so loving! Kimber is a very sweet female cuddle bug that is a 6 year old bull terrier mix and weighs 51 pounds. She went through the obedience training program at the prison and has learned so much! She loves all people including older kids, is house trained and goes in her crate when her foster is away. She does want to be the only pet in her home and would do best with a fenced-in yard. She will go on walks but doesn't necessarily need them. She loves sleeping in bed or watching TV. Kimber is a smart girl that loves her human attention and has done great at all events we have taken her to. She has been great with every single person she's met and her fav person is the mailman since he always brings treats.Kimbers ideal home would be calm and quiet with her people nearby. She would do fine with respectful older children or an adult only house. Kimber is truly a WONDERFUL dog. She would be great for someone who wants an easy dog that will keep them company. If you're interested in meeting this loving girl, apply at www.caninecollective.org. She deserves a forever home! Note: Without a DNA test or direct information about the parents, the breed listed is based on our best guess or from the use of a breed identification app

Story
Luna Mae. Black. Female. 1/2 Golden Doodle, 1/2 Labradoodle. Potty trained. Has 2 rounds of shots. Does well with kids and other animals. She is an amazing dog. We are deciding to try and re-home her due to the timing aspect of dog responsibility. We have two children, both in travel sports, and both of us adults have full time jobs. Not enough time to dedicate to Luna and that breaks our hearts. Looking for a new family for Luna that has the time, love, and energy she deserves. We are super sad to have to re-home her, but she will make someone an amazing dog.
