Story
Scotch is a fun, playful, and adventurous cuddle-bug of a small breed puppy. He gets along well with children, adults, and big dogs. He may bark a lot at first, but his bark is definitely worse than his bite—once he warms up, he’s all love. Scotch is a very affectionate dog who enjoys being close to his people, and he also loves to play with toys. He is making great progress with potty training and is eager to learn. He already knows how to sit and is currently working on other basic commands, as well as walking on a leash.

Story
Meet Wynetta 💕 Wynetta is a spirited, high energy girl who is ready to find a family that can keep up with her enthusiasm for life. Found as a stray, she hasn’t let her past define her and is focused on all the exciting adventures ahead. She is incredibly sweet and loves being around her people. Wynetta can get a little jumpy when she is excited because she just has so much love to share. For that reason, she would do best in a home with children over 12 who can handle her enthusiastic greetings. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she is going to thrive. She is already spayed and ready to head home with her forever family. Wynetta is eager to learn and ready for training, structure, and plenty of exercise. Long walks, hikes, playtime, and learning new tricks will help her shine. She is looking for someone who will channel her energy in positive ways and enjoy having a fun, active companion by their side. If you are searching for a loyal, energetic best friend who will keep you smiling and, on your toes, Wynetta may be the perfect match for you 💗

Story
Meet Max, our 99-pound gentle giant with a heart just as big as his frame. Estimated to be around 7 years old, Max is completely blind, though he seems to pick up on shadows and light. What he may lack in sight, he more than makes up for in confidence and trust. He walks forward boldly, sometimes with such determination that you’d swear he meant to bump into whatever was in front of him. That’s just Max choosing bravery every single day. When he first came to us, he was understandably unsure of new voices and unfamiliar spaces. It didn’t take long, though, for him to start leaning into kindness. Now, if you talk to him, he’ll tilt his head and soak in every word. Head scratches are his absolute favorite, and once he knows you’re his person, he trusts you completely. Max is proof that resilience can be quiet, steady, and incredibly sweet.

Story
Edwin – Your Loyal Shadow and Devoted Companion Edwin came to us through another shelter after his previous owner had to surrender him due to declining health. If you're an empty nester who secretly misses having an angsty teen around the house, Edwin might be your perfect match. He’s equal parts loyal shadow, affectionate companion, and slightly judgy housemate. This sweet boy thrives when he has a person to dedicate himself to, following you from room to room and offering the kind of loyal devotion that melts your heart. Edwin is housetrained, loves to relax in the yard (a securely fenced space is a huge bonus), and does not do well crated. Edwin can be reactive and strong on leash. He may also show reactivity toward other animals when human food is present or when he feels the need to guard his handler. Edwin needs a confident handler to feel safe and secure, and to give him the confidence he needs. He’s best suited for a calm, predictable, adult-only home. While he is very dog selective and would do best as the only pet in the home, he has done well with female dogs outside of the home. This devoted guy isn’t just a shadow—he’s a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth, laughter, and personality (wait until you see his happy prance). He’s looking for a patient, loving person who appreciates his quirks and enjoys his undivided attention.

Story
Meet Crystal, a beautiful 1½-year-old white cattle dog mix who’s ready to trade in her mom duties for a little “me time!” After raising a litter of adorable pups, Crystal is eager to be the star of the show and find a home where she can shine. True to her breed, Crystal is happiest when she’s outside with room to run and explore. She loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine friends and plenty of space to stretch her legs. After a good play session, this energetic girl is all about the snuggles — her affectionate side is just as strong as her adventurous one.
