Story
She is a very sweet, affectionate dog who loves people and thrives on attention. She follows you around, enjoys being close, and truly just wants to be loved. She does well with other dogs and currently gets along great with our dog. She has a lot of energy and curiosity and would do best in an active home with a securely fenced yard. She enjoys being outside but has a strong digging instinct, so she would benefit from supervision, enrichment, and continued training. She would thrive with someone who has the time and space to give her attention, exercise, and structure. Our goal is to find her a home that’s a better fit so she can be happy and successful long-term.

Story
Kashi is a sweet, affectionate, smart dog who gets along with everyone. He loves to hang out next to you and is buddies with our cat, senior dog, adults, and toddlers. He loves getting pets, training, and just lounging around with the family. Kashi is happy to go in his crate when you ask, potty trained, knows basic commands, and has a very gentle, chill, but social temperament. We are rehoming Kashi due to medical expenses that we aren't able to cover. He has developed hair loss all over his body as well as unexplained weight loss. Our attempts to treat him at home, trying medicated shampoos, over the counter medications, and diet changes have not worked so far and we can't currently afford vet visits and treatment. We are hoping to find him a home who can patiently take this on and in return aquire an all around perfect family dog. We also have a large dog kennel you can have to help with his care. Please contact for further info about Kashi and his needs.

Story
Big Mama is an affectionate, athletic, adventure-loving 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix who enjoys going on walks and meeting new people! Big Mama was a hefty girl when she was found, weighing in at over 70lbs, but she is now back to a healthier weight of around 60lbs. Big Mama was found laying in the middle of the road in a neighborhood before a kind couple decided to save her. Unfortunately, they had a pup who was not good with other dogs and with no plan in place for Big Mama, they had to take her to the local shelter. Being a pittie mix, she was quickly put on the euthanasia list after her stray hold was up. Through the tireless networking of her original finders, we became aware of Big Mama and decided to get her to safety! Big Mama is incredibly people friendly and loves to cuddle. She can be unaware of her size at times, so when she's zooming around the yard at high speeds you'd better watch out! Despite her being overweight, this girl can MOVE! When she was staying at her finder's house in the backyard, she would often jump up on their tall patio table to sunbathe! She loves to lounge around when she's indoors, but once she's outside it's gametime! Big Mama has done well with most of the pups she's met, but she seems to do best around medium to large size male dogs. She tends to be more assertive and dominant with other female dogs which most dogs don't appreciate, so a home with only male dogs would be best for her. While she does enjoy playing with others, she does not need a doggy sibling to live her best life! Big Mama is potty and crate trained, knows sit and shake, is very smart, and is good on a leash. Due to her energy level and being unaware of how big she is, she should ideally go to a home without young children. Big Mama is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Story
Billy is a wiley, spunky, affectionate 1.5 year old fluffy German Shepherd mix who loves playing and cuddling! This boy has lots of energy and is very intelligent! Billy weighs about 55lbs and is not expected to get bigger. Billy was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to our local high kill shelter where he eventually landed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. At the shelter, Bill was a terrified, anxious boy who was hesitant to trust any humans (understandably). Once we pulled him and got him home, though, he completely transformed! He is a belly-in-the-air type of guy, as you can see, and he is gaining confidence every day! Billy is now a happy, carefree dude just looking for his next adventure! Billy instantly loves every person and dog he meets. He has never met a stranger and is always up for making a new friend! He loves running around the yard and playing with toys and other dogs, but when it's time to come inside he's content to cuddle up next to you for comfort and warmth! Billy is pretty equally human and dog centered and is very loyal to both. Once he meets his lifelong partner, there's no looking back for Billy! Likely having had no prior training before coming to us, Billy sometimes does not know his own size and strength so he can be a bit rambunctious at times, especially when first being let outside when you come home. He will need some work learning manners, but he seems to pick up on correct behaviors if he sees other dogs doing them first. That being said, he would love to have a doggy sibling to show him the ropes and keep him in line in his new home! He seems to thrive off of having another pup around who can match his unfiltered energy, so a dog with a similar personality and energy level to him is preferred. Billy is crate and potty trained, good with dogs and people of all kinds, and walks fairly well on a leash. Billy is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
