It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Meet Chewy! Due to overcrowding at its finest Chewy was on the euthanasia list and we were able to get him off just in time. Since he arrived he’s been enjoying his time at his foster home with the kids the cats and the other dogs. He is a young boy that likes to play so if he goes to a home with other dogs, they have to be dogs that are able to tolerate his type of play. It seems like he’s still trying to figure that out and it’s quite comical. The dogs don’t enjoy his style of play give him a correction and he moves on. He’s very respectful on the leash and loves walks. He can also sit and shake! Chewy does share a home with other dogs, but he is particular about the dogs in his home so he would need to be either an only dog in his home or a dog that matches his energy, preferably a female.

Does better with female dogs. Good with cats: Unknown Foster location: Middleton, WI Fee: Sponsored! And includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate. Please apply for me at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HFAH/Dog (403644-DS) Due to the amount of no shows we are now requiring a $50 deposit. It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Tchoup, is a big old goofy pup. He absolutely adores toys, the more the better. Fluffy toys, balls, chewy bones, they are all magical to him. He calls all dogs friends and would love to have a sibling to run around with in his new home. He’s learning the ropes of living in a home, but he is settling in fast and enjoying his never-ending toy box. This kid would fit in with almost any type of family! Oh Tchoup, you big goofy hunk of love. You’ve been looking for your forever family for a long time and your foster Mom doesn’t understand why being that you are SO handsome? You have some quirks, but don’t we all? You need to get to know new doggy friends before you accept them into the folds of your family, but once in, you are fast friends and love to play. Dominate males maybe not so much, but in your current home you have both big & little male & female dog friends. You absolutely love your human people and are always close by wanting pets and cuddles. Are you a runner or avid hiker, this is your boy!! He loves being outside and would be a great partner. Tchoup absolutely loves his crate and willingly goes in and spends time there. There are instances where this overgrown goof ball like to “hog” all the toys and claim them all as his own (don’t we all). He is kindly reminded to share, and bones and toys removed. This kid is so smart and motivated to learn and would thrive in an obedience class. With his perfect Holstein colors, he looks like a mini cow and who doesn’t love a mini cow/dog?

Story
Meet Wrenlee – A Gentle Soul Ready to Bloom Wrenlee is a 5-month-old spayed Plott Hound mix with a wild spirit and the sweetest heart. Wrenlee is a protector and will be alert to all going on around her. She’s expected to grow into a medium-to-large girl (around 50 lbs), but she’ll likely always carry herself with a quiet grace. Wrenlee tends to be more dominant with other dogs and easygoing with people, making her a wonderful match for a calmer no other dog home or a family who has an existing laid back dog. She’s good for her kennel time and potty training! She’s just 100% good girl. Wrenlee is the kind of pup who will thrive with gentle guidance, a predictable routine, and lots of love. She might not be the boldest at first, but she’s sure to become a deeply loyal and affectionate best friend to the lucky person or family who gives her a chance. Looking for a mellow, kind-hearted pup with eyes full of hope? Wrenlee is waiting to meet you. 📍 being fostered in the Wisconsin Dells, WI 🏁My adoption fee is $350 and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org. Story
Meet Riccochet! This handsome 3-year-old Lab mix is 60 pounds of heart, soul, and playful energy. Riccochet is a sweet and sensitive guy who thrives in the great outdoors—his happy place is a fenced-in yard where he can roam, sniff, and chase toys to his heart’s content. Riccochet is a gentle spirit who takes a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe, his loyal and loving personality shines. He’ll do best with someone who understands dog body language and is willing to give him the patience and space he needs to build trust at his own pace. He’s wonderful with other dogs, friendly with cats, and loves his people—but he hasn’t had experience with children, so a calm, adult household would be ideal for him. Riccochet isn’t a fan of kennels, so he’s looking for a home where he doesn’t have to be crated and can enjoy his freedom. He is assumed to be potty trained being he likes being outside 90% of the time. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates a quiet companion with a big heart and you’re ready to watch a shy pup blossom into your most loyal friend, Riccochet might just be your perfect match. Riccochet is a rescue from Louisiana where he’s spent his whole life waiting for forever. So now he’s here in Wisconsin. 📍Being fostered in Viroqua, WI 🏁My adoption fee is $350 and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org.
