If you adopt this will come off your adoption fee. If you meet and it’s not a good fit you will be refunded. If you cancel or no show it’s non refundable. **Meet and greets for approved applicants must happen within 3 days or the closest weekend (for long travelers). It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Meet Chewy! Due to overcrowding at its finest Chewy was on the euthanasia list and we were able to get him off just in time. Since he arrived he’s been enjoying his time at his foster home with the kids the cats and the other dogs. He is a young boy that likes to play so if he goes to a home with other dogs, they have to be dogs that are able to tolerate his type of play. It seems like he’s still trying to figure that out and it’s quite comical. The dogs don’t enjoy his style of play give him a correction and he moves on. He’s very respectful on the leash and loves walks. He can also sit and shake! Chewy does share a home with other dogs, but he is particular about the dogs in his home so he would need to be either an only dog in his home or a dog that matches his energy, preferably a female.

It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Dora is a very energetic pup. She loves to play with the other dogs in the house including her sister, Dixie. She is a bit more mild mannered compared to her sister. She is a little skittish but if you’re still or sitting on the couch she will come to you and loves to cuddle. Most dogs that come through are skittish at first but do get over it as trust grows. All around she is a good pup, she is learning fast and quickly got over most of the typical puppy problems like chewing on random things in the house. We have 5 cats and she will chase if they run but she is completely fine around our more mild mannered cat.

He is gentle and doesn’t ask for much. He is content with a soft place to lay, dog bones, and a stuffed animal to rip up every now and then, oh and can't forget head scratches. He loves looking out the window and waits patiently for his humans to come home and patrol for the mail man and amazon drivers. He loves everyone, even the spicy little chihuahua. Yes he is a senior dog, but I promise he will leave a footprint on your heart.

Story
🐾 Meet Raspberry! 🐾 📍 Fostered in Tomah, WI 🎂 Approx. 5 months old 📏 Expected medium/large size when fully grown Raspberry is a sweet, playful Border Collie mix (maybe corgi and GSD…?) puppy with a friendly and social personality. She absolutely loves squeaky toys and enjoys playtime. She does not chase cats, though she may try to engage them in play. She has had limited playtime with other dogs and is still learning how to play appropriately, but she’s making progress. Raspberry is doing well with house training—she doesn’t yet signal to go outside, but accidents are becoming less frequent as she learns her routine. She is not kennel trained and currently shows little interest in using a crate. The foster home does not have children, so her behavior around kids is unknown, but she is described as friendly, social, and outgoing. 🩺 Spay status: Not spayed (due to age) Raspberry would thrive in a home that understands puppy energy, is patient with training, and is ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Being fostered in Tomah Wi 🏁My adoption fee is $350 + $100 spay deposit and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org. Our website takes days to update so please apply even if I’m not on there. ✅You can apply directly at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LPRI/Dog?fbclid=IwAR2NSCms13xrrfdH2mAbM1hPg5dQoC0ruvNJI3TsFtZtsWp9PvNx46zC6SM 501(c)(3) Approved WI Agricultural Licence#285589-DSR

Story
🐾 Meet Jasmine! 🐾 Jasmine is a 6-year-old dachshund mix with the soul of a sweet old lady in the best way. This laid-back girl weighs about 30 lbs and came all the way from Texas hoping to find her forever home. Jasmine is a loving little cuddler who enjoys relaxing with her person — and she even has the cutest little snore when she sleeps! She sleeps through the night like a dream and would much rather curl up in a comfy spot than spend time in a crate, though she has been crate trained before. She would do best in a quiet home with one special human to love. Long walks aren’t really her thing — she’s more of a quick in-and-out potty break kind of girl. Jasmine isn’t very interested in toys, but she definitely enjoys her treats. She’s great with people and other dogs, and even thunder didn’t bother her during a recent storm. Cats are unknown. Overall, Jasmine is just a calm, easygoing companion looking for a peaceful home to spend her days cuddling. 💕🐾 📍Being fostered in Oshkosh, WI 🏁My adoption fee is $450 and you can see more about the rescue at https://lastpawrescue.org.
