Hi there! I’m Darby — your future best friend and professional snuggle buddy! 🐾I’m a mix of Labrador Retriever and Australian Cattle Dog, which means I’ve got a big heart, a loyal spirit, and a thoughtful, sensitive soul. I may not be the first to run up and say hi, but give me a little time and patience, and you’ll see — I’m full of love just waiting for the right person to share it with.I’ve mastered the basics like house training and I’m great on a leash now — walks are one of my favorite ways to spend time with my people! I get along well with other dogs, especially with slow, gentle introductions that help me feel safe. I currently live with two dog siblings who look a bit like me, and we love to cuddle up on the couch or romp around the yard together. While I’m not a big fan of being in the kennel (I’d much rather be curled up on the couch, your bed, or wherever my humans and dog friends are!), I’m well-behaved and respectful around the house. I’m also a polite guest — just give me a comfy spot and a chew bone, and I’m a happy girl.Men can make me a little nervous at first, but I’m trying hard to be brave. With kindness, calm energy, and a little time, I warm up and become a deeply loyal and loving companion. I’m not just looking for any home — I’m hoping for one where I can truly feel safe and part of the family. My foster mom says I’m a sweet, smart, and thoughtful girl who’s always trying her best. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a big heart and the loyalty of a Lab mixed with the devotion and intelligence of a Cattle Dog — I just might be your perfect match.-------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Hi! I'm Tommy! I came from Alabama, me and my brothers were on our own until some wonderful people found us. I've made it all the way to Minnesota and boy oh boy am I loving it!! Currently, I'm living with my foster mom and dad, and 4 other doggos! I love them all!! My foster mom says I love everything and I'm always happy!! She's right! She also says I'm one of the bestest boys ever!! I'm excellent on my leash, I've learned to be comfortable in my kennel when I eat, at night, and when my fosters aren't at home. I'm so close to doing all my duties outside, very few accidents, so that's good! My fosters have noticed that not only am I super cute, I'm also super smart. I've picked up on so many things like good manners, being gentle, and listening to my people. You should come and meet me, and see what a perfect pup I really am! See ya soon!!!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi, I’m Felix! I’m a 3-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a playful side that shines once I feel comfortable. I’m very proud of my manners and I love keeping a calm, cozy routine. Toys are my absolute favorite, and I’m happiest when I can romp around with them or hang out with other friendly dogs.I can be a bit timid when I first meet new people or enter new spaces, but with patience and kindness, I warm up and show my soft, affectionate heart. Because of this, I’d do best in a quieter home with kids aged 12+ who understand my sensitive nature. A fenced-in yard where I can explore at my own pace and plenty of toys to keep me busy would make my tail wag all day long.I’m looking for a family who will appreciate my gentle personality, celebrate my little victories, and help me continue growing in confidence. If you’re searching for a loyal, kind, toy-loving companion, I just might be your boy.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi my name is Minestrone and I am as sweet as I am beautiful. When I say beautiful, I am mostly talking about my heart. I was rescued in Alabama and moved up here in September with my handsome boyfriend and 10 little surprises in my belly. On Oct 5 I brought 10 beautiful puppies into this world and have continued to be an incredible mom every day. I did my job so well that my foster parents say it’s time for me to get my own family that will love ME! I’ve had an incredibly rough start to my life, but you wouldn’t believe how forgiving, kind and gentle I am. I’m completely potty trained, don’t bark and walk leisurely on a leash. When I am not doing mom duties I am usually found taking a long nap, following my people around & eagerly awaiting food! I have been too busy to work on kennel training and I am looking for someone that has the patience to help me learn to be home alone. I miss my humans when they are gone. Are you looking for a mild mannered, potty trained, loving lab mix? I’ll melt your heart. ***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Minestrone is heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She is currently going through heartworm treatment. Once her treatment is complete, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a microfilaria test 30 days after treatment for a preliminary result. Then, a heartworm test 9 months after treatment for final results. It is recommended that she continues getting tested for heartworm annually. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise until she receives a negative microfilaria test. Minestrone will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. This will all be covered by Warrior Dog until her last injection. Any other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. Once she receives a negative result on her heartworm test she will need to be spayed. The adoption can be finalized once treatment in complete and she is spayed. If you are interested in adopting Minestrone, please fill out an adoption application.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi there, I’m Easton 👋🐶I’m a super chill guy currently living the condo life with my foster. I’m quiet inside and really respectful of my space. I get along great with the other foster dogs here, and honestly… I haven’t even noticed the cats. They’re cool, I’m cool 😌So far, I seem to be potty trained (pretty proud of that). The kennel thing? We’re still figuring it out. I’m not totally convinced I want to go in on my own, but once I’m in there, I settle right down and stay quiet like a good boy.My favorite things include belly rubs (the more, the better), gentle affection, and just hanging out with my people. My tail wags pretty much 24/7, especially if you talk to me or give me a little love.If you’re looking for a laid-back, sweet companion who just wants to be near you and enjoy some belly scratches, I might be your guy. 💙--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi! I’m Kandy and I’m a 42 pound bundle of sugar, spice, and everything nice! Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? Then you’ve come to the right place! I was recently rescued from a kill shelter in Alabama. I am so thankful for a second chance at life. Could you be the one I spend it with? I have such soft black fur, a marshmallow-white middle, and white front paws that look like I dipped them in vanilla frosting, which is almost as sweet as I am. What makes me so sweet? Glad you asked!• I do great with people and other dogs and spend most of my days relaxing or exploring my toys.• I walk well on a leash (although I’m still getting used to this MN cold so you might need to bribe me with a treat to go outside)•I’m not a barker! I am so quiet you hardly notice I’m around. When I see other dogs outside from afar, I just sit and observe.•I sleep through the night, all cozied up on my dog bed. •Got a couch? I will gladly snuggle up right beside you! •I really don’t get into much! I promise I don’t have any Twix up my sleeve. Not to brag, but think I’m the perfect girl for a home looking for a soft, loving companion. I have so much love to give and I will stick by your side like caramel to your teeth after you eat a Milk Dud. My foster family says I would make any person or family so happy. I think you and I are mint to be! So, what are you waiting for? Please fill out an adoption application so we can meet and you can find out just how sweet I really am! ❤️Xoxo,Kandy 🍭🍬--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi there! My name is Pumpkin, and I've officially declared 2026 as MY year—time for new beginnings and a fresh start that's long overdue! I've spent most of my life in a kennel without much outside time or the love every dog deserves, but that chapter is behind me now. I'm ready to write a brand-new story! Step 1: The Great Adventure from Alabama to Minnesota ✓ COMPLETE! I've hitched my ride north and am settling in beautifully with my foster family. While I get along just fine with my two canine foster siblings, what really makes my tail wag is parking myself right next to my foster parents for premium petting sessions. When they dare to stop, I politely remind them with a gentle paw tap that my belly won't scratch itself! I'm fully kennel trained and actually love my cozy den for naps and nighttime snoozing. Overall, I'm a pretty calm, laid-back lady who believes life is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Step 2: Operation Forever Family (This is where you come in!) I'm convinced I'd fit in with just about any family, making me the easiest choice you'll ever make! I haven't met any kids yet, but honestly, they sound amazing—more hands for petting and treat distribution! Since I'm more of a "Netflix and chill" kind of gal than a "run marathons" type, I don't really need a fenced yard. I walk well on a leash and would love to be your walking buddy. Full disclosure though—I'm still carrying some holiday weight (those Christmas cookies were irresistible), so I'd be thrilled to join you in any New Year's fitness resolutions. My foster parents haven't heard me bark even once, which means I come with built-in volume control! I've already conquered Step 1 of my master plan, and now I just need your help with Step 2. Will you be part of making 2026 my most pawsome year yet? Pumpkin is Heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment. Her treatment has been completed and she will need a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Pumpkin will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Story
Hi! I’m Dixie and I am just as cute as can be! I’ve just arrived from Alabama. I was very happy to see my brother in the same foster home! My foster mom thinks that I’ve never been in a home before but I’m adjusting pretty quickly. It only took 2 days to master the stairs. I was so excited cuz now I get to sleep in the big bed with my human mom and dad! I’ve only had one accident the very first night of being in my new home, I was just kinda nervous. My foster mom says I’m getting so much better getting leashed up and walking everyday. My doggy brother is bigger than me and he lets me jump on him all the time. He is so gentle and good to me! He spoils me!I do best with other dogs who are not overly dominant. I require a fenced-in yard to help with my transition into my new forever home. Please give me a chance and I will give you a lifetime of love and loyalty!Dixie is Heartworm positive and is waiting for a negative test result which can take 2-9 months after treatment.
