Story
Meet Koby - the fun-loving, kiss-giving, active, handsome young man! Koby is a friendly and playful pup who loves to make his human friends laugh. He is 7 months young, current on shots, and full of energy and enthusiasm. Will need an owner that is willing to work with him on basic puppy stuff (manners and training) so he can mature into an even more mannered adult dog. Koby is a bit of a comedian and loves to make funny faces - he's sure to keep you entertained for hours. He is a sweet boy who is always up for playtime and settle for a kiss. He is setting into the shelter life but hopes his stay will be short. If you're looking for a fun-loving, sweet, and hilarious new companion, Koby is the perfect boy for you! Stop by for a visit with him today. If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home. In order to adopt any of our "bully breeds" there is special paper work that will need to be collected and approved prior to the adoption. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure to place our "bully babies" in homes best suited for them.

Story
Hi there, I'm Maverick! I've been told I am a handsome 4 month old Cattle Dog with lots of growing to do. I am currently around 22 pounds but will likely be close to 50 just like my mom, Tai. I've got a knack for making everyone around me giggle with my goofy charm. I'm a quick learner too, already in a routine for house training and still eager to learn more! I love playing with toys, wrestling with other pups, and exploring my surroundings. I'm also a big fan of kisses, cuddles and being babied. I promise to bring joy and laughter to your home with my lively youthful charm! Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will always be there to cheer you up and stay by your side. Story
Meet Cindy - Available for Adoption North Carolina Looking for a dog who wants to be your side kick? Being close to you will always make her happy. She is smart and loving. She could easily be a therapy dog. She would happy as an only dog or not. She does well with other dogs. Not sure about cats. Her person is her favorite part of her world. If you're retired or work from home and need a friend then Cindy is your dog. Whether you live alone or as a family, with or without kids, she'll fit in perfectly. She has the best personality and is happy just sitting w you on the couch or playing on the floor. She can jumper high so could easily scale a 6 ft chain link fence. A wooden fenced in yard would be best for her. She would be happy taking walks on her leash. The only reason she would scale a fence is to try to go with you. Summer is just around the corner and Cindy LOVES playing w the hose as you squirt water. Absolutely LOVES it! She is crate and house trained and spayed. She's current on her immunizations and microchipped. She weighs around 40 lbs and is a lab/cattle dog mix on the smaller size. She's received several training and is ready for her forever home. If you're interested please complete the following application. She is currently boarding and training at Natural Breed Kennels Resort in Midland. We would love for you to meet her! ❤️ Foster/Adoption Application https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdJcO2I9-K8FMjB9CNflX9xbOpIRjc0gyxzYtdkRn6zPluovw/viewform

Story
I found this sweet girl near Kimball Point at Kerr Lake, close to the Virginia border. Asked nearby neighbors but no one claimed her. She had no collar and checked her for a chip - NONE. I want to find her a responsible, loving home with a fenced in yard and room to run, someone that is going to pay her lots of attention and love her, spay her and take care of her good health and medical needs. She is: Quite well mannered! Very friendly! Such a lover! Gives great hugs! Loves, loves, loves to ride in the car! Loves to play ball and fetches pretty good! Around 40 lbs. Loves a bath in the shower! Potty trained, uses my dog door to go out in fenced yard on her own without me directing her to do so. Has been a good girl when I have left her in the house for 2-3 hours. Loves to sleep on my couch and bed with me. (I'm such a sucker! Ha-ha!) Has tons of energy and needs lots of exercise! Think she is 6-8 months old. Of course she loves treats and chew toys!
