Hi, my name is Kendra and I am from Minnesota. This sweet girl loves attention! She transitioned immediately and wasn't scared when she came to our house. She was curious and checked out everything. She follows us around the house. When we are hanging out in the living room she moves from person to person looking for attention. She is figuring out how to also engage by cuddling for extra attention. She uses her litter box consistently. We have put out several scratch pads so she leaves the furniture alone. she is a gem! From the foster: She will do well with kids and a busy household as she likes lots of attention. She will meet our young grandkids next week and I expect that will go well. So, I'll be able to let you know if she engages well with very young children. We pick her up and hold her. She tolerates it and even enjoys it in small doses before she is ready to be set back down. My hunch is she would do well with another cat as she is easy going and friendly.

Though he isn't a fan of being picked up, he is more than happy to be on the recieving end of all your attention. He loves being pet, playing with his favorite wand toy, and sleeping under a blanket next to your feet. Twister is a very sweet orange tabby cat. His owner, rescued him during the tornado(s) that hit Minneapolis in 2011. Hence, his namesake! After the tornado hit, we were sitting outside, looking at the damage, and checking on neighbors. Along came this orange cat, obviously lost, hungry and thirsty. We fed him and posted signs around the neighborhood, checked for a microchip, but no one claimed him. He has been with her ever since, moving to Minnetonka in 2013. Twister’s owner is an elderly woman with incurable cancer, Alzheimer’s, as well as other medical issues. She can no longer live alone or care for her pets. She is now living w/ us, her son’s family in Minnetonka. We already have 2 cats & a dog. Our female cat decided she hates Twister. She goes after him (stalks, claws, hisses) AND his owner, associating the two. It’s no longer a safe environment for her. It breaks our hearts, but we are just unable to continue this way while providing end of life care to Twister’s owner:(

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but I’m looking to rehome my sweet cat Lily after 10 wonderful years. She is the gentlest, sweetest, most loving girl. She’s a little shy when meeting new people and takes a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she absolutely loves attention and being loved on. She has recently started having some accidents outside of her litter box, and because of my family’s situation, we’re no longer able to give her the environment and attention she deserves. This decision comes with a lot of tears, and my only goal is to find her a patient, loving, and safe home where she can spend her golden years feeling happy and cared for. She would do best with someone who understands that she may need a little time to adjust and who is willing to give her the love and patience she’s always given us.
