Hi, my name is Kevin. I am from Minnesota. From his foster: Kevin is a sweet, chatty, older gentleman. He loves to cuddle and always be by his humans. When Kevin is not around his people, he is generally curled up on some comfy blankets taking a nap. He absolutely loves attention and will yell at you until he gets it. Kevin is good at making friends with anyone he meets, including other cats. He is very food motivated and will try to steal human food, but is good with redirection. Kevin also has one of the best meows around, and he is definitely very talkative. He may be older, but he plays like he is a kitten and will get the zoomies occasionally. Kevin has no teeth, so will need wet food. He gets along well with other cats. An ideal forever home would be someone who is willing to give him tons of attention. He has not been around children while in foster, but there is no doubt that he would do well around them.

Hi, my name is Waboose and I'm from Northern Minnesota! From her foster: Waboose (Ojibwe for rabbit) is a sweet, small, and fluffy girl. She lives with a single woman and is ok around other cats after a slow introduction. She tends to be shy at first but when she warms up she will like to lay on you, try to stick her nose in everything you eat or drink, and wake you up by bringing you toys to throw for her. She hasn't meowed or talked until recently. Yesterday and today, she gave a tiny squeak sound as she was excited about her food. I blame my other cats for teaching her. lol She is a tiny cat but mighty in her attitude towards my other cats. She prefers to be the alpha cat and I have to be sure I give my other cats as much attention especially after she crawls and rolls on top of me for affection. She does have a propensity to pull fingers to her mouth to lick them. At first, I assumed it was affection but she does it incessantly so I found it can be a sign of anxiety and stress so don't let her do that anymore. I distract her with toys and pet her back where she can't get at me hands. She is a good eater and likes wet and dry food. I feed her from lifted bowls so that her food doesn't make her gassy. I recently went out of town for 2 days and used a free feeder. I came home to food all over the floor and 2 piles of throw up. There hasn't been any other problems since I went back to the lifted bowls.

Hi, my name is Krunk and I am from Minnesota! My name is Krunk. I am a older gentleman but still like to have a good time! When I came to The BB, my coat was pretty tangled and had it cut, so my fur looks a bit crazy - but it is growing in beautifully and I love to be brushed. I also love being where the people and my foster sister cat are. Although my eyesight is not great, I get around pretty well and will find a lap whenever it is ready for me! I'd love to go where there is another friendly cat and people who are around, but there is a quiet comfy place for me to take my naps. From the vet team: This animal has tested positive for FIV and requires specific care as a result. To learn more about FIV: https://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virus TBB will plan to pursue a dental cleaning with some teeth possibly needing extractions. If Krunk finds his forever home before this surgery takes place, he can be adopted with coverage of the 1 dental procedure with 1 round of medications and one recheck as deemed necessary by The BB Medical Team and/or our approved veterinary partners.
