I adopted Mihi from the Humane Society in October 2023. Soon after, I started a new job that requires time and attention to the extent that I am no longer able to give Mihi the time and attention he needs. I'm hoping to find a good home for him.

Story

Charlie was found by my father under his grill/cover June of 2022. I took him into my home at that time. The vet estimated his age at 8 weeks so he would be just over 2 years old. Charlie is very friendly towards strangers after the first few minutes of meeting them. He has been a very happy and healthy fella, but just a few months ago was not quite right and was not keeping his food down so I had the vet check him out and he was diagnosed with Pancreatis, which is why I switched his food to the sensitive stomach kind. He has been great since. Charlie can be very energetic at times, but in the evening he loves to cuddle. Charlie is perfect with his litter box and was trained not to climb on countertops (even though he still does it when I'm not around). He is an alpha male and does not do well with my sweet female cat. He would not likely do well in multi cat situation. This is the unfortunate reason I must rehome him. He will make some lucky family very happy!

Heartbreakingly, the mom of the "Spice Kittens", was poisoned to death on the island of Puerto Rico. Our partner rescue was alerted that the kittens needed help to survive and they stepped in with round the clock bottle feeding to give them a chance. All four kittens are sweet, loving, playful and outgoing. Basil and Sage will be flying to MN mid May!

Story

Franny (short for Frances) is the sweetest girl! She loves tummy scratches and will snuggle up right next to you. She makes the funniest grunting sounds when she runs. She's so curious and loves play time! Franny is highly food-motivated, so she'll respond to training. She's learned to "come" with clicker training. She's pretty good at keeping her claws off the furniture and always uses the litter box. Franny's very friendly with humans, including strangers. She doesn't live with children, but has been good with visiting kids. She hasn't had many close encounters with dogs. Franny's only negative is that she doesn't get along with our our older cat, despite introduction training over the last year. Franny's first several months of life were as a stray, so she may just not get along with other cats, but perhaps the right match could make it work. Franny got a vet check-up last month: she's all healthy and up-to-date on vaccines.

Story

Taki (white with brown spotted nose) and Baki (white with black spots) are two brothers from the same litter. I got them from a family in Chicago when they were just 8 weeks old. They are a bonded pair and love to wrestle with one another. I love these boys so much but I will be moving out of state soon and want to make sure that they end up in a loving home. They are two years old and are both the cuddliest guys ever. Taki loves to cuddle and little spoon in the morning and Baki is always searching for a warm nook near you to rest. Neither of them have had any health complications and when they are rehomed, I can pass along their vet information and history along to the family who takes them. Because of their energy and needs, I would prefer that they live in a home without large dogs or young kids. They have never been aggressive, but they are very shy and scared of loud and unexpected noises. They have never been outside so I would prefer that they remain indoor cats.
