This sweet girl came into rescue pregnant, raised her kittens like a superstar mama, and now it’s her turn to find a forever home. She’s spunky, sassy, and wonderfully chatty — always ready to share her thoughts, opinions, and daily commentary with her humans. She’s very social and loves being part of whatever’s going on in the house. When she’s not supervising, you’ll find her soaking up sunny windowsills, bird-watching, or racing around during her epic zoomie sessions. She’s confident around other cats and can be a bit bossy. With proper introduction she could live with other kitties. Although she would probably be happiest as the one and only cat! She has been around dogs and definitely holds her own. Mabel is a sweet little calico who’s equal parts snuggler and playful adventurer. We found lovely Appa (+ bonded Kuma) in our shed a year ago. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47671867-brooklyn-park-minnesota-cat Unfortunately we are unable to house him due to family circumstances. He is a sweet and independent boy but was unfortunately left a little too young and will "knead" and suck blankets/ soft fabrics. He can get very affectionate when he starts to knead. He has a sensitive stomach and needs gradual food incorporation. He can be very sneaky and will eat from trash bags or left out food. He also does not like his paws touched, so it can be difficult to trim his nails. Does not do well in a loud or busy household/ kids but would do great in a calm environment. He loves to lay in boxes and small/curved spaces. It may take some time to get Appa to warm up to you but after some time he is a very sweet and charming boy kitty. p.s. his special talent is getting away with things with his adorable mitten paws (he's polydactyl)

I got Penelope from petsmart about a little over 1 year ago. It was a gift for a friend. The friend was no longer able to take care of her so I'm helping rehome Penelope.Penelope is a shy cat, she likes to constantly stay close and have body to body contact. It takes time for her to warm up to you, so she won’t like being touched in areas aside from neck, head, chest, and upper back. Understand that it’s not out of anger, but fear. Penelope used to be a stray cat. From the pet smart I got her from has told me, Penelope spent a winter in the streets fighting for survival. She no longer has the tips of her ears due to frostbite. Therefore, it takes a little time for her to feel comfortable.I recently just took her back and she hasn’t gotten comfortable enough to allow me to cut her nails. So be aware. She doesn’t scratch or anything like that but it’s just a heads up.
