Hi, I’m Walter! I’m a handsome tabby with just enough orange under my chin and across my chest to make me extra special. And let’s talk about these magnificent tomcat cheeks, they’re kind of my signature feature.
I was found as a stray, and I came into rescue with a few old scratches that showed I’d clearly had some adventures out there. Thankfully, those have healed nicely, and now I’m ready to trade my rough-and-tumble stray days for the much easier life of being someone’s spoiled house cat.
I have the sweetest personality and love being around my people. I can be a little chatty at times, especially if I haven’t seen you in a while. When you come back, I’ll be sure to greet you and let you know I noticed you were gone. I’m happiest lounging on my foster mom’s lap or snuggled up right beside her. I’ll even let you know when it’s time for more pets, because apparently, my cheeks require regular maintenance.
And while I’m definitely a professional cuddler, I still have a playful side! Give me a good catnip toy and I’m ready to party. I also enjoy batting at a wand toy and showing off a little of my inner tiger.
I’m a great eater and especially love wet food, and I have excellent litter box habits. My foster home has two kids, ages 9 and 14, and I do wonderfully with them.
So, if you’re looking for a handsome tabby who has the face of a tough little tiger but the heart of a total cuddlebug, I am your guy. I come with giant cheeks, a little bit of a chatty personality, playful antics, and plenty of love to give.

One big thing about me you should know is that I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but please don’t let that scare you away from adopting me! FIV is a viral infection that affects a cat’s immune system, making them more susceptible to infections and illnesses. FIV is similar to HIV in humans, but it cannot be transmitted to humans or other species. While there is no cure for FIV, many FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives with proper care and management.
