Story
Colt is Border Collie / Australian Shepherd Mix. He is 9 years old and weighs approx. 60lb Colt has Dry Eye disease (KCS). He requires specialized eye drops/medications (Cyclosporin / Tacrolimus / Poly-Bac Ointment) multiple times a day. He is very cooperative when receiving his medication, especially when treats are involved. He is currently not neutered. I am fully cooperative with your rescue handling his neuter surgery upon intake or using your partner veterinary clinics to alter him.: He must be placed in a strict only-pet home. He does not like other animals and will react if they are near. However, around humans, he is intensely loyal, deeply affectionate, and happiest when curled up right next to you. He is a sweet, devoted companion who also has a fun, playful, humorous side and absolutely loves playing with his toys. I love Colt deeply and would love to see him go to a loving family.

Story
Our baby TOG girl is patiently waiting for her forever and ever home. She’s blossoming every day - recently earning her Certificate of Completion in Beginning Dog Training and even tackling a 9-mile hike with her foster mom like a champ! We think that she would thrive as an agility dog, she is such a smartie! Annie is looking for a calm, adult home where she can keep learning and building on her good manners. She sleeps soundly through the night and greets every morning with happy tail wags and excitement for breakfast. She’s learning the joys of daily walks and gets along well with the other dogs in her home. She is about 4 years old and she weighs 21 lbs. Cheerful and eager to please, Annie is ready for her happily ever after.

Story
Moka and Tommy are part of a group of 26 dogs who were confiscated from a single home by Antioch Animal Services. They are now learning what a safe, loving life looks like - together. When 7-year-old Moka’s foster family offered to help, they specifically asked for the most shut-down dog from the group, and that was 9 lb Moka. The good news is that she is slowly beginning to blossom. With patience and kindness from her foster parents, and support from brother Tommy, she’s settling in and starting to discover the comforts of home and the kindness of people. 1-year-old, 9 lb Tommy was rescued by the same foster family shortly after Moka. Despite everything he’s been through, he is an incredibly sweet boy who has adjusted beautifully in their foster home. He’s happy, affectionate, and brings a gentle confidence wherever he goes. The two immediately recognized each other. Since then they have formed a very special bond. They play like crazy together, she grooms him, and Tommy has helped Moka come out of her shell in the most wonderful ways. She now follows him outside into the yard, something she was previously too timid to do. Tommy clearly helps Moka feel safe, and Moka finds comfort in his presence. Because of this beautiful connection, they are being adopted out as a bonded pair so they can continue their journey together. They will do best in a patient, loving home that understands that the best things in life sometimes just take a little time.

Story
We are heartbroken to re-home our sweet Rocky, but our son has developed a severe dog allergy. We want the best for both and that means finding a loving home for Rocky where he can thriveRocky is 5 months old, about 45 lbs (likely 65 lbs full grown). Like any puppy he is high-energy, but also loves to lay around. He prefers to lay on your feet while we watch TV. Rocky is great with kids, our little one sure puts him to the test. He is patient, gentle, never growls or snaps. He loves meeting other dogs as well. Not yet tested with cats.Rocky is a German Shepherd/Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. He is very smart and easy to train. His vaccines are up to date. He is micro-chipped (info transferred to new owner). He's house trained, knows sit, wait, stay and off. He also waits to eat on command, which makes it easier at feeding time. He does well on a leash, but he is 5 months and does get very excited at times. He is doing very well with fetch command.Fee includes neutering surgery.

Story
Louie’s previous owner’s health issues meant they could no longer properly care for Louie, so he is looking for a new home. Like most Chiweenie’s he is a very LOYAL VELCRO dog and bonds quickly to one person, and all he wants to do is be near his person. He is the quintessential lap dog He seems to prefer women, but previously lived with a man and a woman and was sweet with them both. He can become protective of his person - barking and growling on occasion when someone new he doesn’t know very well gets close. He has no history of biting, but he has shown resource guarding behavior towards his favorite people in this way. He does great with our big dogs, but he has gotten snippy with smaller dogs who approached his person in the past. Basically he needs someone – dog or human – to remind him he isn’t in charge and can stand down, then he relaxes and is a very chill, sweet little guy. He is about 19lbs and has no known health issues.
