Story
Jess is an older dog with lots of energy. She loves to be around people and she loves affection. She gets along well with other dogs for the most part, but as the playing goes on, she gets more aggressive. We've had a few fights break out after a while between her and our male dog. Unsure about cats. Mine always runs before she can get close. She's good with my son but I still keep an eye on her. We adopted her from a shelter about 8 years ago so she's about 10 years old now. We noticed that she would snap at us when we pulled on her collar to hold her back. Not sure if there was trauma before we adopted her. She does not wear a collar now so we haven't had any issues with that anymore. She's never bitten any person but has drawn blood from our male dog a few times. Does not walk well on a leash. She will pull you. Other than that, she is a very lovable dog. I cannot continue to keep my dogs separated and confined to other rooms for fear that a fight will break out so we need to rehome

Story
Zoey is about 11 years old. She’s always been an inside dog. My daughter moved (her dog originally) to a complex that would not accept large dogs, so I became Zoey’s new owner. Several months later, I had to relocate and move back home. My parents also do not want a large dog in the house. Zoey is currently residing in a large kennel dog house with a gated run area on the property. It breaks my heart that she cannot be inside, but I didn’t want to turn her over to the SPCA to most likely be euthanized. I want to find her a good home with lots of cuddles for her last years.

Story
Davie was adopted by me and my family at the time in Alaska. He is 2 years old. He is good in a home with other dogs or by himself. Alone he is quite the couch potato. He has to adjust to meeting new dogs. He is not a biter when meeting new people. Just a barker until you come up and touch him and then he wants rubs from you as that is his favorite. He is calm and a truly a joy. Due to divorce and a change in become a single income home in a new state it’s hard to afford to keep him and as a single mother I have to prioritize and feel he deserves a better and less busy home.

Story
Davey is a charming and lively boy who loves the company of his human companions. Unfortunately, we do not have much information about his past as he was found wandering as stray and brought to the shelter. However, we believe that he would be better suited to a household with mature individuals. Davey is currently available for adoption. He is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped and will go home with pet insurance. We believe he is 3-4 years old. To apply to add Davey to your family please visit our website to fill out an adoption application. www.hillhounds.org ##1776789##

His adoption fee is $450.00. His Mom Willow is a 26 pound mystery mix breed as well who can also be found on the Hill Hounds available dogs to adopt. ##1908451##
