Story

We absolutely love this sweet dog, but she needs a home with a large fenced in yard and preferably no small children. She’s very loving and overall good with kids, but has so much energy she can accidentally hurt them by knocking them over, etc. We haven’t had any luck perimeter training her and keeping her chained up in our small yard is unfair to her and doesn’t meet her needs. We walk her at least three miles per day but she needs more. She’s potty trained, sits and waits politely for her food, gets along great with other dogs, and sits, stays, shakes, twirls, and rolls over. She would probably be fine with cats, too, but we’ve never had one around her. She’s very affectionate and it breaks our hearts to see her go, but with a young daughter in our home, it’s just too much and we need to prioritize our daughter’s needs and safety, in addition to finding a home that’s better suited to Luna’s needs.

Bandit: Arrived 1/23/2021---Bandit is a 2-3 yr old American Bully/Pitbull mix. He is social, fine with a very select few dogs. He must meet any potential housemate (human and otherwise) before adoption will be approved. Needs to be in a home with no small children.He is good on leash and knows some commands. Bandit is a very strong dog and will need a strong handler. He's not bad just stout and physically strong. He loves toys and is playful and very energetic.We do not know how he is with children or cats. He is neutered, heart worm negative, and vaccinated. Mercedes was adopted from us 5-1/2 yrs ago but recently returned due to high separation anxiety. She is approximately 7 yrs old and is a Mastiff/Boxer mix. She lived with another large dog and did ok.....but is not good with small dogs. She was recently surrendered back to us, primarily due to her high separation anxiety---she does NOT like to be left alone. She is medicated to help with the issue. Mercedes loves to go for walks and be near and with her people. She would do best in a home where she is either the center of attention and/or her owner is home a lot. Roxy arrived with Chase. She is 10 yrs old.  She seems to be housetrained although she may have an occasional accident.  She is approximately 50 lbs.  Roxy is super sweet and does well with some dogs.  She must meet any new housemate prior to adoption being approved.
