My boy is around 16 years old he is blind and can only eat soft foods , he pottys outside but if you have steps he has to be carryed up or down . He never barks he sleeps all the time he doesn't play anymore he's a real good boy he's been around cats doesn't mind them would love to see him find a home with a older small dog that wouldn't hurt him .Only rehoming him cause of my health And would love to see him go to and older person .

Story

Ollie is very much like any Aussie. He needs space to run, has loads of energy and will be his best with something to challenge him, he’s ridiculously smart. Personally he is extremely affectionate, will push boundaries, and absolutely loves to play with other dogs, and will chase cats to play because he just can’t seem to get that they aren’t dogs too. I do not have a fenced in space, or the ability to give him all he needs. I took him in to get him out of an apt situation and resolve some behavioral issues from that. He’ll be amazing for the right family/person.

Story

Mercedes was adopted from us 5-1/2 yrs ago but recently returned due to high separation anxiety. She is approximately 7 yrs old and is a Mastiff/Boxer mix. She lived with another large dog and did ok.....but is not good with small dogs. She was recently surrendered back to us, primarily due to her high separation anxiety---she does NOT like to be left alone. She is medicated to help with the issue. Mercedes loves to go for walks and be near and with her people. She would do best in a home where she is either the center of attention and/or her owner is home a lot. 8/1/2023---Mercedes is now enrolled in our prison training program.  Anyone interested in her must contact us via email to set up a time to meet her.  She is not at the shelter.....all meetings will occur at the prison once an appointment is scheduled.   Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Domino is a 4 yr old mixed breed.  He has some traits/characteristics as well as looks of Boxer, Hound and Rottweiler.  He is around 56 lbs, playful, confident and is a dominant male so he MUST meet any new housemates before adoption will be approved.  Our suggestion would be a female dog as a companion however he could do fine alone as well. It si unknown how he is with cats and children. He is scheduled to be neutered on 12/6/2022. Brooklyn is approximately 4 yrs old.  She can be shy with new people at first but if given time she warms up and enjoys attention. We are unaware of how she is with kids and cats.  She should meet any new dog before adoption is approved and a decision is made. She does have accidents in her kennel so she may need housetrained.  She does know some commands and will work for food.
