Story
We are looking to re-home our 16lb, 5-year old Miniature Australian Shepherd named Lola. She is really good with my adults, but we have two boys that are 4 and 1 that she sometimes get nervous around because they get too loud or make sudden movements and her natural reaction is to growl or even snap at them. She hasn't bitten anyone, but we are worried that she might, and we don't want to take that risk with our young boys. Lola would thrive in a home with adults, older children and preferably no other pets. She does not get along with cats, but she would most likely warm up to another dog in the home. Lola is a high-energy dog, she LOVES playing fetch and will always bring you a toy for you to throw, whether she is indoors or outside. She is trained to only go to the bathroom outside, we've never had any issues with her going inside the house. Lola really is a great dog, and we are heartbroken that we have to re-home her, but we are hoping that she can go to a loving home.

Cinnamon has a lot of love to share. She is a favorite of the volunteers! Cinnamon has a super sweet personality and enjoys snuggling up and getting loved on. She can be very protective with food items, so she needs an experienced adopter in that area. Also would best in a home without small children due to her food protectiveness. Cinnamon needs to be with an easy going, non-alpha type dog as she is dog selective. Not suitable for a multi-dog household. She is active and enjoys playing with squeaky toys in our yard. Cinnamon LOVES going for walks and is a strong walker on the leash.

Riley is a housetrained, energetic. 2 yr old Pit Bull Terrier mix. She is very strong and has still has lots of puppy behaviour. Riley is very smart and will listen if you are consistent. She needs someone who has experience training, and will devote time to give her consistent training and exercise. Riley has been in training and is getting along with trainers dogs of which are her size.... at this time no home with cats/ or small dogs... Riley takes supplements for an old injury to her knee. Limps on occasion. she is doing very well with her trainer and we are hoping she can find a home soon... she will come with two training sessions with Sara Burk .....

I'm an affectionate little girl who loves attention! I need a home with no or very few stairs to navigate because I have some back issues. I take medication for flare ups and need a family experienced in my care. I love to go for short walks! I'm just not allowed to jump a lot. Small kids make me nervous, so I would do best in home without young children. I was the alpha dog in my home. No large dogs.

Zoey came to us as a stray. She was wandering on a road and was saved from being hit. Zoey has been adopted and returned to us as her first owner had to move, and her second owner's landlord decided no pets. Zoey is happy, friendly, and wags her tail a lot! She is very affectionate and wants to be near you. Zoey is calm and gentle. She curls up and lays down on her bed in her kennel. Zoey is always happy about going outside and she gets excited when you talk to her in a silly voice. She is an easy walker and doesn't pull on her leash. She also likes to play fetch, especially with squeaky toys! Zoey needs to be an only pet as she can be selective on whom she likes in dogs. She needs to be on a leash or fenced in yard as she will run if she's loose.
