Story
Marlo is a lovely gsp who was adopted by a couple very familiar with the breed but their f gsp do not appreciate the attention he is constantly showering them with. ZMarko is neutered, housebroken, gun broke, passed his junior hunting test, good with horses and children. He needs a 6 ft fence, he will jump a 4 ft but doesn’t run off. Owner feels he would do best as the only dog in the home.adopter with German short hair experience would be perfect.

Story
We’ve had Scooby for about a year and a half. We got him when he was six months old from a breeder. He is somewhat house trained, and will go outside when you take him. But, he will not let you know in any way that he needs to go outside. He will just go inside somewhere.I feel like when we got him, the breeder wasn’t working with him to go outside, so we were kind of late in the game with house training him. He is good with everybody, he’s very lovable. He’s a sweet boy and I don’t feel like I have the time to give him what he needs. I work long hours, and my daughter has special needs. She’s often home alone with him, and she doesn’t take care of him like she should. Sometimes she forgets to take him outside, so then he has a mess. I have a special kennel that has a grate in it, so if he urinates, it drips down into a tray. Otherwise, he would pee in the kennel

Story
At just 10 months old, Sakura is a beautiful black Pointer mix with so much love to give. This sweet girl may be a little shy or nervous when you first meet her, but underneath that gentle hesitation is a truly kind and loving companion just waiting to blossom.Sakura is the kind of pup who will thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe. As she builds trust, her sweet nature really shines through, and those quiet, tender moments with her are incredibly special. If you’re someone who finds joy in helping a shy dog come out of her shell and watching her confidence grow, Sakura could be the perfect match for you. With love, patience, and a cozy place to call home, this lovely girl is ready to bloom into the loyal companion she’s meant to be.Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.Your puppy’s adoption fee includes:- Current age-appropriate CORE Vaccines (Rabies/DHPP/Bordetella)- Heartworm Tested- Current on NexGard PLUS Monthly Preventative Chew (Flea/Tick/Heartworm Preventative & Dewormer)- Spaying or Neutering- 24-Petwatch MicrochipAdoption fee: $185.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2026 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Story
*Lucy is currently in foster. Please call the shelter if you`d like to meet me!*Lucy is a 5-year-old cattle dog who truly checks all the boxes—friendly, well-mannered, and full of love to give! This lovely girl has been thriving in her foster home, where she’s shown just how wonderful of a companion she can be.Lucy came into foster care a little on the chunky side, but she’s been enjoying playtime and activity as she works toward a healthier weight. She’s a smaller girl with a big heart, and she’s more than happy to join you for walks, play sessions, or cozy evenings at home. She is both house trained and crate trained—bonus points for an easy transition into her forever home! Lucy has done well with other dogs overall, though like a typical cattle dog, she can get excited when other animals move quickly and may feel a little frustrated if she can’t join in the action right away. She hasn’t chased cats in her foster home, but because she can be triggered by quick movement, a home with calm or dog-savvy cats would be ideal.Lucy absolutely adores people. She’s affectionate, friendly, and happiest when she’s close to her humans—whether that’s curled up on the couch, relaxing in a cozy dog bed, or hanging out by your side. She also enjoys playing with toys, especially fetch and tug, and is always up for chewing on a good Benebone. If you’re looking for a well-rounded, loving companion who can be both playful and perfectly content snuggling the day away, Lucy is ready to be your new best friend. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
Hi… I’m Peppa! When I first came to the shelter as a stray, I was very scared. The world felt big and confusing, and I wasn’t sure who I could trust. No one knows what my life was like before I arrived, but sometimes new things, and people still make me nervous. The kind people here have been so patient with me. They’ve given me time, gentle voices, and lots of encouragement. Because of them, I’ve started to bloom. I’m still learning that I’m safe but every day gets a little easier. It can take me a little while to warm up to new people. I just need a little patience and understanding. Once I trust you though, I really trust you. I love to be close. I’ll curl up in your lap, ask for hugs and kisses, and follow you from room to room just to be near you. Sweet talk makes me feel very special. Peanut butter and treats help too — those are some of my favorite things!I’m learning so many new things right now. Walks can still feel a little scary sometimes, but I’m trying. I’m also working hard on being brave for medical care. It’s a lot, but I’m doing my best.I would really love a family who will continue helping me grow. If we worked on basic obedience training together, I think it would help me build confidence and bond with you even more. I want to feel proud and secure and I want to know I belong. I need to be the only animal in my home, as other dogs can make me feel unsure. I would also do best in a home with mature teens or adults who can help me feel calm and safe. The staff here say I’m a wonderful little lady. They say I’m sweet and snuggly and that I’ve come such a long way. I may be shy at first, sometimes I even hesitate like I’m not sure I’m “allowed” to get on the couch, but once I know it’s okay, I just want to be close to you. What I’m really looking for is someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who will move at my pace and show me that the world isn’t so scary after all.If you have a quiet home and a gentle heart, I think we could be something really special together! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
