Lizzie is a lively 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with the joyful energy of a puppy. She loves the outdoors and especially enjoys running freely in a fenced yard. Lizzie walks well on a leash, rides happily in the car, and adores playing with her toys. She’s smart, eager to please, and sits politely for treats. This sweet girl isn’t a picky eater, sleeps soundly through the night in her crate, and is both microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives. Lizzie still has some playful puppy traits and needs plenty of exercise and continued training to help her grow into her best self. She would thrive with an active family who can match her energy, give her room to run, and provide the structure she needs to blossom into a calmer, well-mannered companion. Lizzie is full of love and potential — she just needs the right forever home to bring out the best in her.

Melly has been a special addition to our family for about 6 years. Due to unforeseen family health circumstances, we’re heartbroken to have to rehome him. Melly is just a huge love bug. He adores cuddling in warm, cozy spots and wants all the affection you can give. Toys aren’t his thing—he’s an old soul who thrives on closeness and quiet companionship. Melly is absolutely wonderful with children and loves other dogs, but would likely prefer a calm, peaceful household at this stage of life. He likes to stay within eyesight and will experience separation anxiety when left alone. Preferably someone who works from home and can take him everywhere, (or someone to watch him) as he cannot be left alone due to his separation anxiety. He’s fully house- and crate-trained. Melly has a history of Lyme disease, so his joints occasionally bother him—especially during cold or rainy weather—but he manages well with love and care. Melly is gun shy and CANNOT be used as a hunting dog. He will run away.

However, Zuko does not take well to being in a cage while we're at work. She's potty trained but will have accidents in the house if she's upset with you. Highly anxious dog who needs someone who will have the time and energy to be with her and train her. She's okay with a child in the home, but not multiple. She's fine with other dogs if they're not aggressive or overly "rowdy."
