Story
10-week-old Husky Mix Puppy This sweet 10-week-old husky mix is just starting to explore the world and will need a patient, understanding home. She’s currently learning to walk on a leash and can be startled by quick movements, so a calm environment will help her build confidence. She loves to play—especially chasing a ball—and does well with other dogs. Her experience with cats is unknown. When playtime is over, she’s a cuddle bug who enjoys snuggling on your lap or settling down quietly in her crate. She’s still working on potty training, as expected for her age, and will thrive with consistent guidance and routine. ##2715429##

Story
Meet Kristoff! Just like his Disney namesake, this guy will melt your heart with his charm, goofy, sweet personality, and snuggable nature!   Kristoff is a 11 month old Siberian husky/American bully mix, neutered, and up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations. He weighs around 40 pounds, and loves all people big and small. He loves a good romp with a canine companion, but is just as happy to snuggle up to his people for kisses or a snooze on the couch.  He was reported to do well with cats, although has not interacted with one while in his foster home.  He also enjoys a good squeaky or chew toy, car rides, and is always up for being your dedicated copilot.    Kristoff is house trained, extremely food motivated, and loves his treats when told he’s such a good boy!  He sleeps like a baby in his crate all night long with no issue. He walks well on a leash, and enjoys spending time outdoors putting his nose to work.     He is available for adoption through Paws Across Pittsburgh, KL 16182, Springdale, PA. ##2666644##

Story
Meet Johanna — She's ready for her next chapter! Johanna is a beautiful medium-sized mixed breed weighing 42 pounds and just over a year old. She’s a unique blend — about 52% Pit mix, mixed with a bit of supermutt and Husky — giving her the perfect combination of strength, intelligence, and charm. With her striking husky-blue eyes and soft brindle coat, she’s absolutely stunning — and even more breathtaking in person. Johanna is wonderfully social and gets along great with dogs, people, and children alike. She does have a slightly rough-and-tumble play style, so she’d do best with canine friends who enjoy an energetic romp. While she’d love a furry playmate, she’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only. A true people-lover, Johanna is eager to please and happiest when she’s close to her humans. She’ll gently rest her head in your lap or curl up beside you for cozy movie nights. Her favorite pastime? Fetch! Johanna has impressive catching skills and can snag just about anything you toss her way. With a moderate energy level, she thrives on daily exercise and playtime to keep her mind and body engaged. Johanna walks nicely on leash, is housebroken, and is currently learning her basic commands. She already knows "sit" and "lay down". She sleeps quietly in her crate overnight. While the crate isn’t her favorite place, she settles calmly with a little reassurance. She has mild anxiety — she wasn’t a fan of a recent thunderstorm (but who is?) — and would do best in a home that offers patience, love, and consistency.  If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts playful and affectionate, Johanna might just be your perfect match. Johanna is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is available for adoption now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA 15144 KL#16182. ##2567893##

Story
Barbie is a tender-hearted, deeply loving girl who forms strong, meaningful bonds once she feels safe. When she trusts you, she will love you with her whole heart. Like many sensitive dogs, she needs time, patience, and a calm environment to fully come out of her shell—but she is so worth the wait. Barbie hasn’t had the easiest start in life and appears to have spent much of it outdoors. She came into rescue after needing surgery due to complications while giving birth to her puppies. Despite everything she’s been through, her capacity for love is truly special. Because of her past, Barbie does experience separation anxiety. She will do best in a home where someone is around most of the time—such as a work-from-home household or one with a flexible schedule. When left alone, she’ll benefit from enrichment like Kongs, Nylabones, and puzzle toys to help her feel secure and occupied. A predictable routine, along with positive reinforcement, will help her continue to build confidence and settle into home life. Barbie tends to be more comfortable with women and may be fearful of men at first, likely due to limited exposure rather than true dislike. With patience and gentle, positive experiences, she has the potential to grow more comfortable over time. She would do best in a home without small children, as she can get a bit enthusiastic and doesn’t always realize her own strength when excited. Barbie also has a high prey drive, so a home without cats is important. She may be happiest as your one and only pet, though she has done well around pot-bellied pigs, showing she can coexist with the right companions. Barbie is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is currently working on crate and potty training and continues to make progress each day. Barbie isn’t the right fit for every home—but for the right person, someone patient, understanding, and committed to giving her the stability she’s never had, she will be an incredibly loyal, loving, and rewarding companion. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is available for adoption now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.  ##2642993##

Story
Meet Gypsy – Your New Best Friend! Gypsy is a lovable 2-year-old 17lb Beagle mix with a heart full of love and a personality that will quickly steal yours. This sweet girl is happiest when she’s close to her person, whether that means snuggling on the couch or following you from room to room. She’s doing great with house manners and will let you know when she needs to go out by heading to the door, though she has occasionally used pee pads. Crate training is still a work in progress, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treat bribes), she’s well on her way to mastering it. Gypsy enjoys the simple joys in life, especially when the weather is nice and it’s time for multiple daily walks. She also has a playful side and will bring you her favorite toy when she’s ready for some fun. Once she’s had her playtime, she’s perfectly content to settle down and relax. She already knows several commands like “come,” “sit,” “no,” and “outside,” and is currently working on “down” and “shake.” With continued guidance, Gypsy has so much potential to learn and grow. Gypsy is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped. She will be ready for adoption on or after 4/26/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with kisses, cuddles, and unconditional love, Gypsy is your girl. She’s ready to find her forever home and become someone’s perfect little sidekick. Apply to adopt Gypsy at: www.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adoptPaws Across Pittsburgh KL#16182 ##2715484##
