Story
If Pittsburgh had a dating show for dogs, Jack would win it in the first episode. This 2‑year‑old Great Pyrenees mix is handsome, charming, and fully ready for commitment. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots, which in the dog world basically makes him the equivalent of “emotionally available with a stable job.” Jack is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, but let’s be honest — he has a soft spot for the ladies. Girly dogs, prepare yourselves. He will flirt. He will prance. He will give you that slow, dramatic head tilt that says, “Hey girl… you come here often?” Despite his romantic side, Jack is a gentleman through and through. He’s sweet, social, and just wants a family who will adore him as much as he’ll adore them. Jack is looking for his forever home in the Pittsburgh area, and he’ll need a securely fenced yard so he can safely strut his stuff, patrol for squirrels, and practice his “windswept fur” look. If you’ve been waiting for a dog who’s equal parts majestic, goofy, affectionate, and unintentionally hilarious… Jack is your guy. Open your heart, open your home, and let this fluffy bachelor sweep you off your feet. Story
When Jeannie first waddled her way to rescue’s doorstep, she was… how do we put this gently… a very fluffy cloud. A cloud with legs that weren’t entirely convinced about the whole “walking” thing. But beneath all that extra fluff was a heart of pure gold and a spirit ready to shine. Fast forward a few months — after a carefully monitored diet, a reasonable exercise program, and more cheering than a Steelers playoff game — Jeannie has shed almost 30 pounds. (YAY JEANNIE! 🎉) She is officially lighter, brighter, and ready to strut her stuff into a loving forever home. Jeannie is 4 years old, up to date on all her shots, microchipped, and spayed. She’s sweet-natured, gentle, and has perfected the art of being everyone’s friend. Dogs? Yes. Cats? Absolutely. Kids? She thinks they’re delightful little snack-dropping machines. Her personality is a blend of soft-hearted sweetness and quiet humor — the kind of girl who will follow you around the house like your fluffy shadow, flop down dramatically for belly rubs, and give you that “I’m adorable, and I know it” look whenever treats are involved. Jeannie is looking for a home in the Pittsburgh area with a secure fence, where she can continue her healthy journey, enjoy the fresh air, and maybe show off her new-and-improved wiggle walk. If you’re ready to welcome a dog who has worked hard, blossomed beautifully, and is now ready to love you with her whole heart, Jeannie is your girl. She’s a gem — a glowing, goofy, grateful gem — and she can’t wait to meet her forever family. Story
Say hello to Mike, the 3-year-old, 60 lb Labrador Retriever mix who never goes anywhere without his favorite toy. If you spot a dog proudly trotting around with a stuffie in his mouth… it’s probably Mike. He’s the full package — affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Whether you’re headed out for a drive or settling in on the couch, Mike is right there with you. He rides beautifully in the car, takes baths like a gentleman, and is fully house trained. Mike prefers slow introductions with other dogs and would do best in a home without small animals, but with humans? He’s all in. If you’ve been waiting for a snuggly, toy-toting best friend, Mike might be the one.

Story
Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! “Macey is the definition of friendly. She’s happy, smiley and so outgoing. I don’t think she even knows the meaning of the word stranger. She was a tiny bit jumpy but honestly it was cute and it didn’t bother me at all. She had a great temp test and met so many dogs through the fence. I’m confident she’s dog friendly, which I almost never say. She literally tried to lick inside the other dog’s mouth. She’s also hilarious because if I paid attention to another dog she would crawl over my knee and sit right in front of me like she was saying hey don’t forget about me. She’s just awesome.”

Story
Meet Ripley 💙 When we rescued Ripley from the shelter (then known as White Shoes), he was emaciated and heartworm positive. With the help of some incredible fosters, Ripley has gained 20 pounds and completed heartworm treatment. Now he’s healthy, happy, and so ready for a forever family of his own. Ripley is around 2 years old and about 56 lbs. He’s the kind of dog that feels like the built-in big brother of the family. He’s perfectly content babysitting the house, hanging out for movie nights, or just being near his people. He’s definitely a Velcro pup, but also appreciates his own bed and downtime. Every once in a while, he’ll break out into the silliest little moves that remind you what pure joy looks like. He’s truly the lottery jackpot of good boys. Ripley is incredibly sweet and friendly with everyone he meets. He’s playful, goofy, and full of love, and he deserves a family who will adore him as much as he’ll adore them. Ripley is: • Great with other dogs and very respectful of boundaries • Good with kids • House trained • Medium energy • Super affectionate and easy to love If you’re looking for a loyal, happy, all-around amazing companion, Ripley might just be your guy.
