Banshee is an almost 2-year-old mixed-breed sweetheart weighing 40 lbs. Her estimated birthday is January 21st, so she’ll be celebrating soon—whether that’s in foster care or, hopefully, in her forever home! Banshee is dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs. Her initial introduction to a cat went well, so she could do well in a home with a dog-savvy cat. She is getting better on a leash, but she can be strong and occassionally pull. Therefore she'll need consistent leash work. Banshee loves cuddling with her people, meeting new friends, lounging on soft dog beds, playing with plush toys, enjoying bully sticks, going for car rides, and having fun with her dog friends. So far, there isn’t much she dislikes. She is an absolute sweetheart with a great balance of playful and relaxed. She enjoys zoomies but is just as happy curling up as your cuddle buddy. She’s been doing great in the home with no accidents and continues to be calm and well-mannered in her crate. Banshee warms up quickly to new people and is affectionate and friendly. With other dogs, she truly opened up after just a few days. She already knows “sit,” is working on “down,” and comes when called. Overall, Banshee is an easygoing, loving girl who would make a wonderful companion. Meet Pepper! Pepper is a 25 pound, 7 month old mixed breed pupper! Pepper is a mildly spicy, curious yet cautious cutie! She will bark at you upon meeting but generally approves of you if given a few minutes to sniff you out and perhaps with a treat to sweeten the deal. Pepper is a girl that thrives on connection and playtime - both with other dogs and with humans. Pepper is accustomed to eating, napping, and sleeping overnight in her crate. She is also becoming house trained with a routine schedule. Little Miss Pepper Pants is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, making training a fun bonding experience. She can be intimiated when meeting new dogs and may be a bit vocal the first few minutes. Once she feels she's communicated effectively, she wants to play. Like with all puppies, she will want someone who is prepared to continue typical puppy training so she can be the best girl she can be - things like leash-walking, general behavior, etc will be necessary to ensure long term success. She is fine with other dogs or kids. She's not met any cats but would likely be ok with them if the adopter is willing to be patient and go with slow intros (as recommended with any home that has cats). Darcy is a 3-month-old, 23-lb “31 flavors” mixed-breed puppy with a gorgeous brindle coat and the sweetest, most soulful eyes. Her mom is a petite 31-lb feist mix, and while dad is a mystery, with her little paws, we don't expect her to get too much larger, maybe medium in size. A little shy at first, Darcy quickly blossoms once she feels safe. She absolutely lights up around her human foster siblings (ages 6 and 9) and takes great comfort learning from her furry foster siblings, too. Watching her confidence grow has been a joy! Like any puppy her age, Darcy is still working on typical house and crate training and will thrive with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. While she hasn’t lived with cats, she could likely coexist with proper, slow introductions.
