***Fenced Yard Required for All Dogs*** Please Note – Gus is being cared for by Fayette County Animal Rescue in Rossville, TN. Adopter's Costs: Adoption Fee $95.00 Transport Fee $150.00 Health Certificate $25.00 ***Since we can not do a meet and greet to ensure compatibility with other dogs, it is recommended that Gus be in a home with no other dogs*** Gus is such a fantastic dog! Great with all people and is wonderful with even young children. He is extremely companionable, will go in whatever room or space that you are (whether you think you need company or not). He absolutely loves to play and will need an active household, but will also lay on his dog bed or by your feet, wherever you are is where he would love to be. Not in an annoying way, just truly that companionable. *Gus's only flaw is that he is a very dominant with other dogs when in his yard or off-leash, so he will need to be the only dog in his family. He will walk fine by other dogs and won't go looking for a fight while on a leash however in his yard he is best to be the only dog. He would NOT do well off-leash at a dog park. A few more things about Gus: - Loves to go for walks. - Very smart, learns very quickly and you can see the intelligence in his gorgeous brown eyes - He can be a little hesitant in new situations but will settle in very quickly - Doesn’t jump but if he thinks you are open to it will slowly jump up and stretch out his legs on your chest for loving - Loves his chest and chin rubbed and in between the ears - Loves dog beds, any dog bed, and one in each room wherever you are is preferred - Sleeps on furniture - Fantastic bed sleeper, doesn’t get up until you do. Prefers a throw blanket at the end of the bed for his spot - Trustworthy in the house - Truly companionable and wants to be where you are. He will play outside by himself however when he thinks he should be let in he will wuff at the door. - Loves toys but destroys them immediately. He will play with the remnants of his chewed up toys into tiny pieces - Loves to chew the hard Nylabones - Not food or toy protective. You can take his food without issue. You can open his mouth and take anything out of it that he shouldn’t have and gives it up pretty easy. Will drop what he has when knows it is wrong by telling him to Drop It. - Crate trained, runs right in. Can sleep in crate at night if you want but also perfectly find loose in house - Potty trained; Does not mark in the house - Never been around cats but not recommended, will probably chase them. - Walks well on a leash. Well mannered. Knows basic commands. Will come when called - Takes cookies/food from your hand like a gentleman - Loves for you to look in his eyes and tell him how pretty he is - Comfortable with having his wet feet dried off at the door - Up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, No known medical problems - Doesn’t shed a lot, no undercoat, but he does shed a small amount - He hasn’t had a lot of baths so not his fav thing to do. He is okay with it, just have to hold his collar - Only has had his nails trimmed at the vet but they never said he had a problem with it - Need to keep your eye on his weight as he goes up and down based on exercise level *One of his siblings had a DNA test done and they were 50% lab and 50% pit bull. Date of birth is 5/30/2017. All our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes: • Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian • Up to date on all vaccinations and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention • Spayed/Neutered • Microchipped • 30 day pet health guarantee (*Must follow process provided at time of adoption.) • 30 day money back guarantee Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following: • Fenced yard and home inspection for all animals; we will complete an onsite fence/home check prior to completing the adoption or ask for a video that shows the fence. (We do not accept invisible fences.) • Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). • If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3 months of heartworm prevention • If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc. If you are interested in adopting one our dogs or cats, please complete our Online Adoption Application at http://www.fayettefcar.com/animals. Story
That underbite, though!  Ollie is a cute 18 month old guy who came to us via a neglect case. As a result, he is going to need someone who is very patient, as he is high-anxiety and is learning that not everything is scary. Ollie is neutered, healthy, and up to date on vaccines. He's looking for a patient, loving, and understanding forever home in the Pittsburgh, PA area. His ideal home will be calm and quiet, have another dog, and a securely fenced yard. He loves to be outside, but is still not good on a leash yet.  If you are interested in learning more about this sweet little guy, please drop us an email to FHBRinfo@gmail.com today!  ##1753468##

We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval. FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $250 ** PLEASE NOTE: The breed mix posted is simply a GUESS on our part, we DO NOT do DNA testing. Hi all! Thanks for stopping by to check me out!! My name is Miss Rohan, I am a 4 yr old 70 lb cuddle bug!! I ended up in rescue when it was determined that I would be best suited in a home with no other animals. But quite honestly, who needs other animals to play with when you humans will do just fine?! In addition to snuggling with 2 legged folks, I also LOVE taking walks/hikes and playing fetch. Although I am considered a young adult, I have lots of puppy energy to expend so an active owner(s) is a must. Car rides?? LOVE them, as they typically end up supplying me with new and exciting adventures. There are some things I must brag about. First of all, I am totally potty trained which seems to be really important to you folks. Also, I am crate trained as well. Which means when you leave your house, you don't have to fret about me getting into anything while you're gone. Now for what makes me really really special....I am hearing impaired and because I am so smart, I have already mastered my hand signals (intelligent AND gorgeous)!! Yup, I am THAT special! My ideal home would be one that will continue to supply me with ample playtime, lots and lots of hugs, and has patience while learning how we communicate with each other. The folks here at the rescue are insisting on a fenced in yard for me and if you have kids, they need to be older (like teenager age). I am a strong gal, so walking me on a leash can prove challenging unless the correct harness is utilized (foster mom can fill you in on that detail). I get so excited to see what's ahead of me that I have a tendency to move faster than the human at the other end of my leash!! I have tons of love and happiness to add to the right home.....maybe it's yours? If so, fill out that adoption application and my people will be in touch with you!! love, rohan https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfq4U7G0-dPdnIAyHdlAAZ11IQN5SVy0PEMLEnGOAOJWANOfA/viewform

FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $250. ** PLEASE NOTE: The breed mix posted is simply a GUESS on our part, we DO NOT do DNA testing. **Maizy is currently ~2 yrs old and upon entering the rescue she was only 30lbs, has now "plumped up" to 37lbs but still has more to gain!** What a WILD RIDE!! I gotta tell you, this foster life I am currently living is da bomb!! I get to play with other dogs, snug with some humans and get this....I get food and water EVERYSINGLEDAY!!! What a concept! To top it all off, my foster mom is a professional dog trainer! So, not only am I getting all my needs met but I am extremely fortunate that I am learning exactly how to be a respectable member of the human/canine community! Let's discuss what allll you humans appear to be highly interested in...my potty habits (personal subject but I'll play along!). I am doing good and will do "my thing" as soon as I am taken out of my condo (crate). Please keep in mind that a new home will mean new schedules so consistency and patience will be key for both of us. BONUS, I LOVE my condo!! It's my safe space and if I've had enough of your human shenanigans, it allows me an escape. Since my past was less than happy, I have decided that I want ALL the attention in my new home!! That means a home with no other pets and no small children. However, if you have older respectful kids that would be great! I am not much of a barker but will for sure give you a "woo-woo" if I discover that you are slow to prepare my food :). Let's discuss my leash manners (not my fav topic). Suffice it to say that they are a work in progress :) When we are out for a walk, and I see my house I will pull in an attempt to get back asap because after all....that's my safe place. But foster mom is certain that we can work thru it, and I can be taught how to walk "politely" on a leash. Lots of you folks want to know if I would run out of an open door. Why the heck would I when INSIDE is where all the good stuff is?? Foster mom says she is happy to teach you all the tricks of training if you have questions which is a great thing for you as well as me because I really want to keep learning how to be a good girl. As you may be able to see by my earlier pictures, I was owned by a not so loving person. I was not very socialized and as a result loud noises, sudden movements, new sights/sounds etc scare me. But foster mom says that I am rebounding quickly and am gaining confidence as I become more comfortable. Imagine how devastated I was the first time I came face to face with my reflection!! All my ribs showing, my poor ears cut off in some kind of home ear cropping attempt with scissors, flea ridden, lackluster fur and scars all over my face. The only good thing about all that is that it is in the past and now I search out mirrors in every room!! How do I see my future? Well, I hope to continue on the same path I am currently walking....staying healthy, learning new things, seeing more of the world and becoming an essential and loving part of my new family!!! fill out that application so we can meet up because I have 2 years of fun to catch up on and sure would like someone to share it with! love, maizy COPY AND PASTE THE FOLLOWING LINK FOR APPLICATION: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScS9JnqDx7VUcxofuK4oBqeYuaLYHWi_43DesFKd3YjHeQwwA/viewform?usp=sf_link
