Story
🎵 Hold Me Closer, Tiny Doxie! 🎵 Meet E.J., a two-year-old dachshund mix named after Elton John who's looking for someone to make Your Song his happily ever after. Like any true rock star, E.J. can be a little shy before he takes the stage. He may bark when meeting new people, but a few tasty treats, some structured playtime (he's a toy enthusiast!), and a little patience will have him saying, I'm Still Standing with his tail wagging. Once E.J. trusts you, his playful, goofy, cuddly personality shines. He loves spending time with his people and is learning that playing together is one of life's greatest hits. He gets along well with other dogs, though he's currently more of a polite bandmate than the life of the party. As his confidence grows, his playful side just might make its debut. If you're ready to give this little Rocket Man a loving home, E.J. will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, laughs, and snuggles.

Story
Meet our new sweet senior lady Ashley. After losing her beloved owner, she's hoping to find a quiet, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years. Calm, gentle, and affectionate, Ashley adores everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with other animals. She would love a home where she can have a well-deserved retirement full of tennis balls, large, cozy dog beds, and loving people who adore her as much as we do. She's the perfect low-key companion, happy to relax by your side and remind you that the little things in life are often the best. Ashley does have some mild age-related medical needs, but they're well managed with medication. Could her next home be with you? Call us at the Adoption Center or Rescue Ranch to learn more about this sweet, soulful lady.

Yertle the Turtle ("Yertie") may not rule a pond like her famous Dr. Seuss namesake, but she will rule your heart! This sweet little Seussical pup is as gentle as a Truffula breeze and as cuddly as a Sneetch at nap time. Yertie loves people from here to there, and everywhere! She’s always ready to curl up for snuggles, share puppy kisses, and make new friends—whether they have two legs or four. Curious about other dogs and puppies, Yertie likes to say, "A friend is a friend, no matter how furry!" With her kind spirit, loving nature, and talent for turtle-y adorable cuddles, she’s the perfect companion for anyone seeking a little extra whimsy, warmth, and wagging in their world.

Story
Meet Luffy, named after Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece, and just like his namesake, he’s full of heart, adventure, and the kind of charm that wins everyone over. At first glance, some might be intimidated by his size and looks, but Luffy is here to prove that appearances can be deceiving. Beneath that big, strong exterior is a goofy, affectionate, people-loving boy who’s happiest when he’s making new friends, soaking up attention, or curling up for a cuddle after a day of fun. Luffy is still a young pup at heart and sometimes forgets just how big he is, especially when he’s bouncing around trying to play with his dog friends. He absolutely adores other dogs and is learning his manners, but due to his size and enthusiasm, he’s best suited for homes without small dogs or puppies. He’s incredibly food-motivated, which makes him a dream to train. He's smart, eager, and always ready to learn. With his joyful energy outdoors and his ability to settle in for cozy naps indoors, Luffy is the perfect mix of playful adventurer and lovable couch companion.

Story
Sleeping Bag is a 9-week-old mixed-breed puppy who came to Nuzzles from the Navajo Nation. Since he arrived as an orphan, his breed mix is a mystery, but many puppies from this region grow into wonderful medium-sized adventure companions. This little guy is everything people dream of when they think of a puppy. Playful, affectionate, curious, and incredibly sweet, Sleeping Bag loves being close to his people. He's still small enough to curl up on your chest for a cuddle and may reward you with a few gentle puppy kisses while he investigates your face. His friendly nature, eagerness to please, and bright, curious mind make us think he'll have a lot of fun learning new things as he grows. Sleeping Bag has been in foster care with other dogs and has met kids, and he's ready to find a family to continue his puppy adventures with. If you're looking for a best friend who can keep up on the trail and then snuggle on the couch, Sleeping Bag just might be your guy. 🐾❤️
