Story
Winnie is the kind of dog who melts hearts the moment you meet her. At 4 years old, she’s full of love to give and lives for scratches, cuddles, and quality time with her people. She’s playful and affectionate, the kind of companion who will happily soak up your attention and return it tenfold. Life hasn’t always been easy for Winnie — she may not have had the chance to enjoy the comforts of being an indoor dog before, and she’s still figuring out some of those routines. What she’s never lacked, though, is heart. She’s raised puppies, she’s proven her resilience, and now it’s her turn to be the one who’s adored. It’s no surprise Winnie has quickly become a staff favorite here — her sweet nature and eager-to-love personality make her impossible to resist. She’s ready for someone who will give her the cozy home, the patience, and the love she deserves. Could that be you?

Gare-Bear may be a very big boy, but his heart is even bigger—and much softer. This lovable gentle giant has a calm, easygoing nature that puts everyone at ease the moment they meet him. He’s friendly with new people and prefers a peaceful pace of life, making him a wonderful companion for someone who wants a relaxed, loving dog. Gare-Bear is happiest lounging by your side, soaking up the sun, or resting on a cozy bed. He enjoys slow, meandering strolls and isn’t in a rush to go anywhere. One of his sweetest quirks is carrying his toys around like little treasures. Despite his impressive size, Gare-Bear is tender, affectionate, and incredibly gentle companion. If you’ve ever wanted a big dog with the soul of a soft, quiet sweetheart, Gare-Bear is ready to show you just how kind and comforting a giant can be. 💛

Story
Hazel’s story began on the Navajo Nation, where she was rescued as a puppy and raised with love. She’s now almost 4 years old — a beautiful mixed breed with soulful eyes and striking markings that tell a story of resilience. Hazel is a gentle, reserved girl who blossoms with time and trust. Long days in an apartment weren’t quite her style; she’s happiest in a calm home with room to stretch, explore, and just be. We think she’d thrive alongside another mellow, confident dog who can help her continue to open up. Hazel may start off shy, but once she feels safe, her affection runs deep — the kind of love that grows stronger every day.

Story
This handsome mixed-breed adventurer was first rescued as a puppy from the Navajo Nation. Since then, he’s lived a life full of love and exploration—traveling to places like Horseshoe Bend and the Grand Canyon with his previous family. Boomer is now five, smart, loyal, and well-trained. He knows all the basics—sit, down, wait, come, and leave it—walks nicely on leash, and is fully house-trained. He’s great with adults and staff and loves being included in everyday life and outdoor adventures. Boomer prefers not to share his favorite things, like food or his beloved Jolly Ball, so a home with kids 12 and up who understand boundaries would be best. He’s met a few dogs and done well with calm introductions and has shown little interest in cats—so with the right match, he could settle into a multi-pet home. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who’s up for hikes, road trips, and cozy nights in, Boomer could be your guy. Come meet him at the Rescue Ranch today!

Story
Oreo is an almost 11-year-old female who has spent most of her life as a cherished family dog. Loving, loyal, and affectionate, Oreo is happiest when she’s close to her people—following you from room to room, curling up nearby, and quietly keeping you company. She enjoys going outside, heading out for walks, and playing a game of fetch (even if she prefers the “keep away” part of the game). Oreo can be a little nervous when first meeting new people, especially adult men, but with a bit of time and patience, she warms up and shows her sweet, devoted nature. She does best when she feels safe and settled, and once she does, she’s incredibly gentle and loving. Oreo is house- and kennel-trained, has good manners, and does well with kids. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can enjoy her golden years—and she must go home with her best friend, Brooke, who has been by her side for years. Oreo and Brooke are a bonded pair and are seeking a home together. They’ve shared years of life, love, and companionship, and keeping them together will help them transition into this next chapter with confidence and comfort. They’re calm, well-mannered, and happiest simply being near their people—and near each other. If you’re looking to open your heart to two loyal companions who already know how to be wonderful dogs, Oreo and Brooke may be the perfect fit.
