Story
We took Penny in after she was abandoned at a friends house. She is a 1 year old pitbull mix. She is up to date on all shots and spayed. She is around 50 pounds. We are rehoming her because she seems to not realize her size and is too energetic when playing with our small dog. Penny is VERY high energy and her ideal home would include a securely fenced yard where she can run and play to burn off her energy. She loves to play fetch and play with toys. She would do best as an only dog as she has jealous tendencies with other dogs. She has a high prey drive so a home without cats or other small pets is recommended. She does ok with kids but can be overwhelming for them if they aren’t used to dogs due to her energy level. She is crate trained and potty trained. She does good on a leash but does pull a bit at first. She is super sweet, goofy and loves to cuddle. She does have a bit of anxiety so it would take her some time to adjust to a new home but does really well on a set routine.

Story
We cannot house Origami beyond May 30.We agreed to temporarily home Origami after being found as a tiny puppy. He was found with 12 siblings. He turned 1 March 30th.Origami is a huge cuddler and bonds with people he is familiar with easily. He is crate trained and sleeps in the crate overnight but prefers sleeping near someone. We have 3 kids and he has been a delight, and wants to spend every moment with them but we found they have allergies so he cannot sleep with them.He could use more leash experience, we haven't been able to give him the training he deserves. He tries but often sits confused after tugging. He has had dog friends and plays well once acquainted. We have his puppy ancestry if you want it.If you can take him you're welcome to have his crate as well.It was donated when we were asked to help house him and we won't be taking in any other animals after this.Update: he has been more reactive to strangers lately and we feel he could use a home with time and experience.

New environments can be a little overwhelming at first, but with patience and love, they warm up and show their playful, affectionate personalities. They're working on confidence, socialization, and all the important puppy basics. With a little time and a lot of love, they'll grow into loyal, smart and devoted companions. Ask to meet them! We are planning to be at Bellingham Petsmart Saturday March 7th from 12 to 2 pm if you want to meet the crew!

Border Collie

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tinker is a very energetic 5 year old border collie with endless energy! She could play and run all day long and would thrive in a home where that could be provided for her. She tends to be sensitive to certain sounds and weve found that the constant noise from having a young child in our home has unfortunately caused her a lot of anxiety. We have a second older dog with whom she gets along with, but tends to be very jealous and has a hard time sharing attention and would do best in a home where she could get a lot of one on one attention and be given the space and time to get out her energy daily. Although she has no training for agility competitions we feel she would thrive in that space as she doesnt tire out easily and loves to run fast and for long amounts of time. When inside shes a big lover, wants cuddles and will get up close and personal kissing and wanting to give you all of her love. Shes a sweetheart and intelligent and deserves a better home to truly thrive.
