Details
Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sweet Corgi who is great with cats and dogs of all sizes! I love him so much that I’m willing to re-home him to a place that has more room for him to wander and run and more animals his size to entertain him. I will only adopt him into a country/farm type environment, or someone with a lot of space and time to give him the attention he deserves. He needs lots of stimulation, activity, and social interaction. He’s so smart and gets bored and lonely easily. He’s a big boy (45 lbs!) with a big heart and loves EVERYONE he meets. He is very strong willed, has an outgoing personality, loves to play, and would enjoy being trained with a purpose or task. He deserves more from life than I can give him in a small and confined environment, but I love him dearly and will only re-home to a perfect fit. If this profile is up, he is still available for adoption.

Story
Meet Finnegan, a charming and lively 4-year-old terrier mix with a heart of gold. He thrives on walks, chasing balls, and engaging in spirited games of tug of war with his beloved chew rope. Finnegan is housebroken and crate trained, showing great restraint by not jumping fences, although he's curious and may wander through an open door if given the chance. While Finnegan is affectionate and eager to please, he prefers a home without cats and would do best without young children or elderly adults due to his boundless energy. Like many dogs, Finnegan can become anxious at times, which he manages by chewing; however, this behavior can easily be redirected with a stimulating chew toy or a comforting snuggle. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will keep you entertained with his playful antics and melt your heart with his sweet nature, Finnegan might just be the perfect match for your loving home.

Story
Freedom, affectionately referred to as “Cal” by his foster parents, is just the best boy! Cal is a fun, playful, snuggly boy who is just loving life. Cal is 55 pounds and around 2 to 3 years old. He loves playing with his foster brother - playing chase, tug-o-war, wrestling, or snuggling while sleeping. Cal walks great on a leash (almost heels by nature!) and is crate and potty trained. He loves to follow his people around the house, “helping with chores”, or snuggling with them on the couch next to the fire. Cal can be a bit nervous around new things but warms up quickly and learns to overcome his fears. Cal has the sweetest, most soulful eyes that will make anyone’s heart absolutely melt! When he is looking for play or snuggles he has the sweetest “talk” he does, it’s impossible to resist! Due to the fact that Cal is still learning to be gentle when playing and can be mouthy (still gentle and we’re working on getting better!) we suggest he goes to a home without small children. If you'd like to meet Cal (aka Freedom), please submit your application at www.scroungydogs.com. Thank you!

Story
Meet Bernie (formerly known as Troy (and that is what his records will say)! Bernie is the chillest guy out there! This 65 lb, 3 year old St Bernard ? mix loves being a good boy and is easily trainable. He mastered potty training and “sit” in 1 day! He responds well to simple corrections. Bernie loves to cuddle but also loves some alone time in his kennel. He has a habit of falling off the couch in hilarious ways when playing or trying to get a belly rub. He gets a little excited when he sees people when being walked on a leash, but overall doesn’t pull. He would fit in well in house with other dogs. He is tolerant and plays nicely with his younger foster brother. He’s good with children too and has played with kids in the 4 year range with the patience of a saint. He would be a great addition to any family!! If you would like to meet Bernie (aka Troy), please submit your application at www.scroungydogs.com!

Story
Meet Twist! This little bundle of energy and love is 11 mos. old and only 36 lbs. She loves to be petted, super affectionate. She now knows the doggy dog, how to walk on a leash, how to chew toys not shoes, and how to play and relax with other dogs! She’s so-so with her crate, cries and then is fine. She is doing better on walks (she is a squirrelly girl) and learning not to bark at other dogs and people (this we believe is fear based). She isn’t aggressive at all. If you are looking for a playful pup who would love to join you on your adventures, Twist may be the girl for you. She will require additional training, as we don't believe she had any at all prior to coming to us. She is a wonderful girl. If you would like to meet Twist, please apply at www.scroungydogs.com.
