Story
Hi, I am Tigger. I am a gentle and calm older pup looking for a home. I like to take naps on soft beds and sniff around the yard. I can be fearful of new places and people so I need a home without young children under the age of 8. I do not like to share my stuff and can be dog selective so I need to be your only pup. I would like a home that I can relax and take naps or chew on bones at my own pace. I would like to have a chance to be a part of your family.

Story
You will never know the real me if you just look at me in the kennel. See, I can be fearful of new people (especially men) and new places. BUT GET ME OUT OF THIS KENNEL and you will see the real me! I am very playful and energetic. I also know a lot of commands and can catch a single kibble thrown to me at 20 feet! I think I could be an agility dog...at least that is what my friends at NOCO Humane say. Because I can be high energy, it would probably not be best to have me in a home with young children. If you think I am a good fit for your life, can I please meet all of your family so that we can make sure we all get along? That is really important to me. I can`t wait to meet you! XOXO, Rex

Story
Freedom, affectionately referred to as “Cal” by his foster parents, is just the best boy! Cal is a fun, playful, snuggly boy who is just loving life. Cal is 55 pounds and around 2 to 3 years old. He loves playing with his foster brother - playing chase, tug-o-war, wrestling, or snuggling while sleeping. Cal walks great on a leash (almost heels by nature!) and is crate and potty trained. He loves to follow his people around the house, “helping with chores”, or snuggling with them on the couch next to the fire. Cal can be a bit nervous around new things but warms up quickly and learns to overcome his fears. Cal has the sweetest, most soulful eyes that will make anyone’s heart absolutely melt! When he is looking for play or snuggles he has the sweetest “talk” he does, it’s impossible to resist! Due to the fact that Cal is still learning to be gentle when playing and can be mouthy (still gentle and we’re working on getting better!) we suggest he goes to a home without small children. If you'd like to meet Cal (aka Freedom), please submit your application at www.scroungydogs.com. Thank you!

Handsome Tri is such a sweet cuddle bug! He is 48 pounds and approximately two years old. He is beyond sweet and loves to play with his foster brother - playing chase, tug-o-war, wrestling, or snuggling while sleeping! Tri loves very hard - he absolutely adores his foster dad and wants to always be near him, it is very adorable! He is crate and potty trained and walks pretty well on a leash. Tri loves to sleep in his foster mom’s arms with his head on her chest, his snuggling is second to none! Tri’s handsome, expressive face and love for life will make him fit in to any home in need of some extra loving! Story
Meet Bernie (formerly known as Troy (and that is what his records will say)! Bernie is the chillest guy out there! This 65 lb, 3 year old St Bernard ? mix loves being a good boy and is easily trainable. He mastered potty training and “sit” in 1 day! He responds well to simple corrections. Bernie loves to cuddle but also loves some alone time in his kennel. He has a habit of falling off the couch in hilarious ways when playing or trying to get a belly rub. He gets a little excited when he sees people when being walked on a leash, but overall doesn’t pull. He would fit in well in house with other dogs. He is tolerant and plays nicely with his younger foster brother. He’s good with children too and has played with kids in the 4 year range with the patience of a saint. He would be a great addition to any family!! If you would like to meet Bernie (aka Troy), please submit your application at www.scroungydogs.com!

Story
Meet Mocha (aka Sierra), a mixed breed 1 yr., 40 lb. old pup. Mocha is currently at board at train at Leasure Ranch K9 Academy in Byers, Colorado, where she has learned to be an outstanding canine companion. Mocha has some reactivity meeting dogs on a leash, but does well at doggy daycare and loves to play with the dogs there, so would likely do well in a home with another playful dog. She likes kids and is good with them overall, but she can get overly excited with little ones and tends to want to herd them, so older children are likely a better fit. Mocha will need some work learning to walk nicely on a leash without pulling. She seems to really like having a job or task. Mocha will do best in an active household, where she gets lots of attention, and is provided activities to keep her mind busy and happy. She is housebroken and kennel trained and knows several commands. Mocha is very food motivated which should make training a breeze! In order to meet Mocha, you will need to be able to travel to Byers. If you would like to meet Mocha, please submit your application at www.scroungydogs.com. Thank you!
