🩶 Orville & Osvaldo: A Bond Worth Waiting For 🩶
Orville and Osvaldo's story is one of resilience, patience, and the incredible power of love! These handsome boys came to CSHS in February completely shut down, fearful of the world, and unsure if people could be trusted. For weeks, they stayed hidden under a bed, only venturing out to eat, drink, and use the litter box when their foster wasn't nearby.
It took nearly a month for Orville to accept pets, and almost two months for Osvaldo. But after more than four months in foster care, these boys are truly unrecognizable from the cats they once were! ✨
Today, they seek out affection, sit in your lap, happily take treats from your hand, wrestle with each other, and enjoy playtime like carefree kittens should! Their bond is incredibly special, and they are looking for a home where they can stay together forever! 🩶🩶
Orville is the brave explorer of the pair, helping his best friend Osvaldo navigate the world with a little more confidence each day.
🩶 Orville, a squirmy, playful little guy who always seems to be in motion, loves rolling around on the carpet, soaking up full-body rubs, and receiving enthusiastic butt scratches! Curious and adventurous, he's usually the first to investigate something new. He has also claimed the bathroom as one of his favorite hangouts and will come trotting over if he hears you in there without him.
🩶 Osvaldo took much longer to trust, but once he decided people were safe, it was as though a switch flipped - he's all in on love now! He adores treats, gentle head rubs, and long, soothing pets. Every day brings a little more confidence, and watching him continue to blossom is incredibly rewarding.
These boys would thrive in a quiet home without young children or other animals. A smaller home or apartment would be ideal, as large spaces can still feel overwhelming. They can still startle at loud or unfamiliar noises and may need some patience while adjusting to new surroundings, but for the right family, the reward is immeasurable!
Orville and Osvaldo have already come so far. Now they're searching for their forever people who are willing to give them what they've always deserved - a safe place, a gentle heart, and a lifetime of love together.
Orville and Osvaldo are bonded and must be adopted out together. 🩶🩶
All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped.
