Story
Ebony is a darling little lady who just landed in MN and is settling into her foster home. She is getting along great with the other pups in the home and is hoping to find a forever home of her very own! Her story: Little Ebony has overcome some amazing odds as she was rescued from a warehouse with her newborns. It took the efforts of many island animal lovers to give her this second chance and they didn't let her down. She overcame a heartbreaking heartworm diagnosis and is now fully cleared and has received a clean bill of health to move forward and find her forever home. Her puppies left the island long ago and now it is Ebony's turn. She's a sweetheart who will smile for you, wiggle her body and loves to be held.

After a major spinal injury left him incontinent, this little guy never got the memo that he was supposed to slow down. Peanut’s favorite hobbies include playing with toys, soaking up sunshine like a tiny baked potato, and aggressively forcing people to cuddle him. He’s wonderful with humans of all sizes, dogs of all sizes, and honestly just wants to be wherever the comfy blankets are. Peanut does wear a human diaper and belly band, and his bladder needs to be expressed to help him fully empty — but we promise it’s way less scary than it sounds, and we’re happy to teach his future family everything they need to know! The best part about diaper dogs? THEY NEVER HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE 😂 Raining? No problem. Blizzard outside? DIAPER BABY. Too comfy in bed to get up? Peanut supports your lifestyle choices. Peanut is proof that disabled dogs are still just dogs — happy, goofy, loving little creatures who adapt way better than humans ever do. He doesn’t feel sorry for himself and neither should you. He’s too busy living his best tiny gremlin life. ❤️

Age: Estimated DOB 4/16/24 Weight 15 lbs Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes, but does not need! Dog friendly: Yes, needs companion dog in his forever home Cat Friendly: No Kid Friendly: Older/considerate kids only ***Fence & Companion Dog Required*** Meet Ollie! Ollie is the perfect tiny dog with a big heart and just the right amount of spunk. This handsome boy is crate trained, house-trained, and rides beautifully in the car, making him an easy companion whether you’re heading out for an adventure or relaxing at home. Ollie has a playful, energetic side and would love a family who enjoys walks, games of fetch, and maybe even teaching him a few tricks—he’s a smart cookie and loves to learn! While he enjoys activity, he also settles down nicely once the day winds down and is happy to curl up nearby and relax with his people. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people at first, especially men, but with slow introductions and a little patience he warms up quickly. Give him a little time and you’ll soon find him climbing right into your lap for snuggles and following you around as your loyal little shadow. He’s incredibly easy to love. Ollie plays well with both big and small dogs and would do best in a home with another playful dog to help keep him company. Because he loves to zoom around and stretch his legs, a fenced yard would also be ideal for this speedy little guy. Ollie’s dream home is an active family who will include him in their adventures and then enjoy some cozy cuddle time afterward. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun companion with lots of love to give, Ollie can’t wait to meet you! Adoption Fee: $495

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Meet Pogo (Milo!) He is the king of cuddles. His life before rescue was truly horrible; he endured spending most of his time in a small crate outside in the heat. Despite his awful start in life, he is such a snuggly sweetheart. He can be a little shy at first so slow introductions work best for him, but as soon as he feels safe he blossoms. He has some food guarding instincts that we’re working on so he would be best in a home without young kids. Older, respectful children would be just fine, he did great with my nieces (9 and 13). He does really well around other dogs, and is currently living with a cat that he mostly just ignores. His potty training has gone very well so accidents in the house are rare. He is very affectionate and the ultimate velcro dog that just wants to be on your lap or beside you. He is truly a gem and will bring so much joy to whoever adopts him. Pogo (Milo) is about 3 years old and weighs around 20 lbs. He's currently fostered in Minneapolis.  If you would like to learn more about Pogo (Milo), please submit an interest form on our website:    https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  *Adoption fee for Pogo (Milo) is $525 + MN state tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 16, 2026, 11:52 am

Story
Hi, I’m Maggie. I’m a 2 year old chihuahua mix! I came to MN from Mexico, where I was found living in a hole inside a rock mountain. When I got to MN my foster mom realized I was limping quite a bit. It was then determined by our vets that I needed a double back knee surgery as I had luxating patella in both my back knees. Don’t worry, my foster momma did all the hard work and I feel so much better now and am like a brand new dog!  I have come a long way in adjusting to indoor family life, and have learned so much!  It will take me a few minutes before I’ll let my guard down, but once I learn you wanna be my friend we will be best friends. I am goofy and will play with other dogs big or small, but it may take me a few days to warm up to them. I’m not a big fan of active young puppies that always want to invade my space.  But I do great with older, mellower dogs or dogs that just leave me alone.  I’m great with cats and have even interacted with a few chickens.  I do have a strong interest in rabbits and will attempt to chase them whenever I see one.  The thrill wears off after about three seconds, and I go back about my business.  Some of my favorite things to do are:  go for car rides, or boat rides, lie in the sun (or under a blanket, if it’s cold out), play with a rubber ball (I can toss it, chase it and catch it all by myself!) and on occasion I like to play wrestling with my foster sibling who is close to my size.  When we hear our foster dad start up the four-wheeler, we both run to it because he lets us hang out in an attached basket and cruise around with him.  It’s really fun!  I also love treat time, and will do anything for a soft treat, like Beggin Strips.  When I am in cuddle mode, I don’t like to share my space with other animals and may growl at them if they disturb my sleep. I love cuddles, I am the most cuddly girl ever.   I would rather curl up and cuddle with you under a blanket all day long.  At night, I sleep with my foster, burrowed deep under the blankets and don’t make a peep until long after everyone else is up. I am kennel trained and do really enjoy hanging in my kennel, but my foster has been letting me free roam all over the house and I’ve been really good.  Most of the time, I just hang out on the couch until it’s time to go outside or grab a snack.  I am officially 99.99% potty trained, although when I go to a new home I might have an accident or two while we learn to communicate with each other.    I will bark at new people coming into the house but will calm down once I notice the other dogs are ok with them. If they are too intrusive or in my face too much at our initial meeting I may growl. I never snap or bite though. I just need some extra time to learn new people are okay!  Anyways do you think you could be my forever home??    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 17, 2026, 8:34 pm
