Story
Meet Jax, Jax is a blue & tan boy with natural ears and a tail that is knocking the door at 6 years old. He is a super sweet boy and deserves the best life. He is a very smart boy who loves cuddles, is great on a leash, and knows a lot of commands! He's a great running and hiking partner, too! Jax needs to be in a Doberman experienced home with no small children. He will need a home with a 6 ft fence, as he can clear a 3-4 ft fence if he decided to let himself out on a run. Jax is fully vetted and ready for his new forever home. Jax is muzzle trained and in high stress environments like vet offices it would be best for him to wear it in case he gets over stimulated. This boy has had a rough life thus far after running the streets of Mexico to coming here. Jax would be best in a home with another dog to keep his confidence up. He is good with cats and horses also. Jax is a true velcro dog and protective of his tribe once he settles in. We are currently accepting applications for Jax at www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Please email us at HookedOnDobies@gmail.com, visit our Facebook page www.facebook.com/savingdobermankind or webpage https://www.savingdobermankind.org to request an application, inquire about an adoption fee, or to learn more! We do require a completed adoption application to be submitted before discussing details of a specific Doberman. We DO NOT have a central location, our foster homes are located throughout our geographic region including CO and WY. We strive to PROTECT the privacy of our fosters. ALL Doberman meet and greets are conducted in a neutral meeting location made by appointment only.

Story
Meet Dakota, Dakota found himself in a sticky situation because his owner passed away. He is currently grieving the loss of his owner and is unsure what to do with himself. The person helping with the estate and though of his owner as a father figure did try to home him but the people couldn't handle his barking even though it was only 24 hrs. He will need time his whole world has changed. We did learn that he was originally adopted from a local rescue that is no longer operating. Dakota is up to date on vaccines and neutered. He has not lived with other dogs since he was adopted so currently we are unsure how he is with other dogs or cats. We are also unsure how he is with small kids as his previous owner did not have kids either. We do know he is ok being around people in wheelchairs though. Interested in adding a senior to your home. Apply to adopt Dakota at www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application. All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
I am posting this for my son who took a job overseas and could not bring Buzz with him. I am not able to give him the attention he needs or deserves. Buzz is an energetic almost 2 years old and would be well suited for a family that has kids that are at least 9 years old. He can be a little hyper when he gets around multiple people or other dogs, but at home is well behaved. He has not been around cats so not sure how he would do with one. I am sure the right cat could put him in his place though.... He is trained with an e-collar. Mother is a black lab, father is a yellow lab, which is why I did not list him a pure bred. He comes with a collapsible crate and dishes. Toys and bedding do not last with him as he likes to take them apart. He is loveable and would be a great fit for any active family or individual. We can meet most days after 2PM for an initial meeting, just let me know if you would like to meet Buzz. Just saw the neuter requirement, waiving adoption fee

Story
Zeus is house trained. He is young and active. He knows commands ie. Come, house, sit, down, place, eat, drink, free, he knows to wait before he touches his water and food with your command. He is a very smart dog but will test you. You need to show you are in control. As far as him being socialist with other dogs, he is good with my daughter’s Yorkie but he will need to be introduced to being more socialized with other dogs. I’d like for him to go to responsible person who has time, patience, someone who can afford and care for him as dogs can and may have expenses. He is healthy no medical problems that I know of. I rescued him from someone with health problem thinking I could give him all that time. I was wrong. He does love to play fetch

Story
Bella is very full of energy and loves to play! She is 16 weeks old and will be about 8-9 lbs when grown. We love her but as we are expecting it’s going to be difficult and unfair to our baby and her if we keep Bella. She is very quiet and does not bark so that is plus!

Story
Meet Storm! Storm is an honorary doberman in a Weimaraner body! Storm has officially been waiting for his forever home for 6 years now and almost 8 years old. He is a owner surrender that was bounced around 3 different homes because no one could keep up with his energy. Storm will need a privacy fenced back yard of at least 6ft as he is he could clear anything under that if he chose to. Storm loves people but he can not be in a home with other animals as he doesn't get along with other male or female dogs and he has a high prey drive for the small animals. He will need a very special home that can give him what he needs. On a good note this boy absolutely loves to jump on trampolines and loves playing fetch and will return the ball. He does know several basic commands but does pull on leash but if you use the sit command to make him stop he does pretty well. He is a strong boy so no children should be taking him for walks alone. He would cuddle all day on a couch and bed with you. He is not a fan of storms ironically or fireworks. He has been with children from ages new born to 13 and never had any issues. If you are an active family with no other pets Storm will be the best addition to your home! To apply to adopt Storm please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming.
