Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This is Alibi! He is a very sweet and loving Pit Bull/Boxer mix. He is ~5 years old (shelter dog so age is an estimate) and has been missing his left front paw since birth, so he is unable to climb a full flight of stairs. He absolutely loves humans (including kids) and tolerates small dogs. He has trouble getting along with larger dogs. He has been through a board and train program, so knows multiple commands and is great on a leash. I am needing to rehome him because changes in my work and personal commitments as well as a recent move have caused him a lot of stress. He has separation anxiety and does not tolerate a kennel well due to past trauma. Ideally, he needs to live with someone who is able to be home quite a bit or someone who lives in a home where he cannot see you leave to go to work. There is a small rehoming fee but he will come with all of his toys, bowls, treats, and preventive meds!

Story
Elmo is a sweet, healthy old man (10 years old) with lots of life left to live. He enjoys short walks around the yard, chew toys, snacks, and snuggling on the couch. He loves everyone he meets, and he gets along well with submissive/social female dogs. He is very reactive to cats and will chase them, which has gotten him quite a few scratches. Elmo was likely originally crate-trained but his time in the shelter has given him extreme separation anxiety such that he will hurt himself trying to escape, and an escape artist he is! My chihuahua and I love Elmo, but he doesn't deserve to be getting hurt so much between the cats swatting him and his escape injuries. I'm hoping he can find a cat-free home where he never needs to be left alone for long, so he can enjoy his golden years in peace.

Story
Meet Chevy. He is a fun, bouncy, lively, 2-year old Great Pyrenees mix. He loves to run and play with other dogs, and may enjoy playing with cats a little too much. (He thinks they are fun to chase, but he never hurts them and if they ignore him, he loses interest). The same cannot be said about flies - he absolutely hates them and will chase them haphazardly through the house. Chevy has had some bad luck in his life, and so he tends to be a little shy in meeting new people. After he warms up to you, he will follow you through the house, always wanting to be where you are. He is housebroken and doesn't chew on things he shouldn't. He is not a fan of the kennel, but is well behaved loose in the house. He will bark if he thinks he needs to (such as when someone knocks on the door) but usually one bark or two, and he's quiet again. Chevy is a big boy, about 70-pound. Because of his size and temperament he would be best in an adult household with one or two people. Introductions to any visitors or strangers should be very slow and controlled. Included in his adoption is a session with our trainer (local adoptions only).Interested? Please visit dogsbydebin.com/adoption-application/ to complete our quick online adoption application. His adoption fee is $225 & includes: Neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test, & deworming. Bonus! Announcing an exciting partnership with #GoodPup, the nation's leading dog training service over live 1-on-1 video chat. Every DBD community member will receive 1 FREE week of training + 20% off for Life, and GoodPup will make a generous donation to help us care for more animals. Story
Meet Rosie! This sweet gal is just 6-months old. She is very smart & eager to please. Rosie gets along with dogs & seems indifferent to cats. She is respectful of space & seems to be on the slightly shy side of life. We are guessing once she settles in & acclimates to her new family, her confidence will come back. Rosie was recently returned to us for no fault of her own. She is currently about 35-pounds. She will me medium to large full gown. We are guessing Beagle and or American Fox Hound mix. She lived with children in her previous home & did great. She is also kennel trained. Her adoption fee is $275. This includes: Spay, microchip, & current vaccines. Story
I am so special I got to have all of this beautiful black fur. I have been special from the start, and I love to tell you about it. I am a total woman's guy, what can I say I love the attention. Loving me will take a special person for sure. You see I can be a total dude! (Sorry in advance ladies!) I pee when and where I want. Making messes is seriously my middle name! When it comes to a towel, well I’ve never met one I don’t love. You will know this because I would love to have one in my mouth all the time. If given the opportunity I will hang on to your jacket sleeve, or hoody strings. Hey I just like keeping you close, honest! I am honestly a lot, but I promise I am truly worth the headaches, and OMG moments that are sure to come.
