Story
Theo was born 8/28/2022. We have had him since 6 weeks old. He is a good boy, leash and crate trained, loves long walks and to be outside running around. He can very reactive and overly confident when he is outside and can be reactive- especially male dogs. He has never bit anyone, human or dog but he sometimes will hike his hair and growl until you tell him to stop at passing dogs outside. He can be stubborn. He has been trained professionally and has a dual tens collar and remote. Our family just doesnt have the time to give him the exercise he needs and would do better in a more lax home with someone who is home all the time and doesn’t have enticing toys all over the place to destroy. I don’t think he should be with any male dogs but may do okay with a female. We do have a cat and they get along but I don’t think he would do good with others- he sometimes chases the cat. Given his size of 75 lbs I would recommend someone who is experience with large solid dogs.

Story
Lita came into rescue after her owner passed away. She is a very nervous girl that is scared of the slighest sound. She finds comfort in her crate. It's her safe spot. Her breed includes Staffordshire terrier, dalmation, Chihuahua & cocker spaniel followed by a few other breeds. I know this sweet girl will thrive in the right home. If you have the time and patience that Lita needs, please send us a message. She does require a secure fenced yard due to being so nervous. She will run to hide when scared. No young children as their energy level will scare her. She has done well with dogs her size. Often even comforted by their presence. She does need to be fed separately from other animals and typically eats in her crate. Lita is estimated to be 8 yrs old and currently weighs 23 lbs. You can meet Lita in her foster home in Abingdon Md. She has been waiting 2 years for a home of her own. Her adoption fee is waived.

Story
Taco is an 11 yr old, 12 lb male Chihuahua mix. He is a typical chi that takes a few minutes to warm up. Once he does, he loves attention. He has done well with other small dogs. He was surrendered with 5 of his brothers. He doesn't like cats. No small kids due to his age & size. He hates being crated and will bark & bare teeth when confined. He just wants to be with his people. He is neutered, chipped, vaccinated & recently had a dental. He tends to get ear infections so it's important to keep his ears clean. He loves going outside and is pretty active for his age. Send us a message if you can give this sweet boy a quiet retirement home. He is being fostered in Harford county Md.

Story
Meet Paco!!! A charming 10 yr old, 12 lb long haired chi mix. Pics are before & after grooming. Paco is such a sweet boy! All he wants is love... And maybe a good treat. His previous owner was in a wheelchair, unable to take him for walks outside. He was kept inside with potty pads. Paco does not understand how to walk on a leash and is a little scared to be outside. He also cannot walk up or down steps. Maybe he can physically, but he is just to scared. Paco is looking for a patient home that can help him conquer his fear of steps & going outside. It's even better if you have 1st floor living! Paco has been great with the other small dogs in rescue. I suggest older kids only due to his age. Every senior deserves a quiet retirement home. Paco is being fostered in Harford county Md. Send us a message to meet this sweet senior boy. Thanks

Story
Tex is a certified good boy. He was rescued from Texas. He is a young puppy at heart and loves to run. He needs a fenced in area to run. He has been trained to go potty in his own outside without a leash, so he has not been leased trained. He loves kids and is protective of them. He believes he is a lap dog sometimes.
