Story
Rufus is a deaf, 6.5 year old pit mix. He is super sweet, energetic, loves to walk and play. Knows about 8 different hand signal commands. Moving to an apartment and I think he would do better in a house with space and a yard.We had another dog that died last year. I think he would like to be in a home with another dog again.

Story
Our family is facing a major life transition as our jobs are relocating us to Florida. While we are completely heartbroken to part with our girls, we are choosing to put their well-being first. Huskies are built for the snow and the cold, and we firmly believe they will live their happiest, healthiest lives remaining in a cooler northern climate where they can truly enjoy the outdoors.Because they are deeply attached to one another, we are looking for a home where they can be adopted together as a bonded pair.Tina Tofu is a beautiful 2-year-old purebred husky who has lived with Fern since she was a puppy. True to her age, Tina is playful, affectionate, and full of life, but she takes her cues from Fern. She looks up to her big sister for confidence and comfort. Tina is affectionate, eager to please, and brings a wonderful, joyful energy to the duo.See Fern's page for more information.

Story
Gus is a 5 year old German Shepherd and weighs approximately 115 pounds. We acquired him from a family who wanted to breed their dogs. The mom was a standard GSD and the dad was all black. I see Gus in a home with someone who is experienced with handling a GSD. I see him in a big backyard to protect it from squirrels, foxes and cats. He is anxious around young children so a home with 12 year old and older would be best for him. He will not eat his food unless you give him the “ok” otherwise he will be making a puddle of drool. He had his yearly vet visit at the end of February and is up to date with vaccines.

Meet Fern Louise (Age 6) – The Gentle SoulFern Louise is a stunning, 6-year-old purebred husky who completely breaks the stereotype of the loud, hyperactive arctic dog. She is incredibly loving, kind, and surprisingly quiet. Fern is a total sweetheart whose favorite activity is curling up next to her humans for a good snuggle session. She has a calm, mature demeanor and serves as the grounding anchor for her younger sister, Tina.See Tina Tofu's profile for more information

Details

Story
Leela has been with me for the last 1.5yrs and has been an incredibly loyal and loving companion. I adopted her at about 10 months old after she was found wandering the CA desert with her sisters. She’s 50% Belgian Malinois, 25% Bulldog, and 25% Staffordshire Terrier. Since PCSing from Southern California, she hasn’t adjusted well to downtown Annapolis, but she’s been thriving at my aunt’s farm in western Virginia where she started spending more time. Leela would do best in a home with land, consistent attention, and plenty of exercise. She’s very smart, athletic, and loves swimming, running, and hiking, though she doesn’t do great in heat due to her bulldog side. She gets along great with other dogs and has done well in daycare and boarding, and she’s been fine around farm animals. She has shown some resource guarding around me, but not with others and can be nervous (which I presume is from her puppy days). Overall, she’s a great dog who just needs to find a better environment

Story
Lilo is 5 years old, she is a Great Pyrenees mix that we adopted from our local shelter a few years ago. She is a good dog and is both crate trained and trained with an e-collar. We need to re-home her because we are having our second child and she can be very protective of her food and her toys. She would do best in an active home with a fenced in yard. She loves to play with sticks and play fetch. She does have the double duclaw on her rear paws that require attention to make sure they don't grow around into the paw, we have them professionally trimmed a few times a year. Her shots are up to date and she's got a clean bill of health from the vet.
