Story
Ace is a 12-year-old Giant Schnauzer. I acquired Ace as a puppy, and he has been a loving and loyal companion ever since. He is house trained, gentle, and does very well around small children. Recently, Ace had surgery to amputate one of his toes, but he is currently on the mend and recovering well. Due to a new job and a busier schedule, I unfortunately no longer have the time to properly care for him. I am seeking a loving and caring home where Ace will get the attention and affection he deserves. Adjectives I would use to describe Ace are: affectionate, gentle, well-behaved, and resilient.

Story
Steve is a good boy who has a lot of energy to burn and love to give! We rescued him when he was four months old and he is now almost five. He’s a mutt and we’re not sure of his exact breed. Unfortunately, my husband and I both work full time and now have a young toddler and a new baby, so we are really struggling to give him what he needs. He is great with little kids but lacks spatial awareness so needs to be watched. He can be hostile around other dogs so public parks are not a great option for exercise. He is okay on a leash but has sound anxiety so walking on a busy street is tough, he would need some training. He really is a big ole goofy lovable boy who loves to give kisses and snuggles. He would be great in a home where he has lots of attention and possibly private land to run free as he has a lot of energy. He also LOVES hiking and camping! We are incredibly sad to have to lose him but want him to find the best environment and home where he can really thrive.

Story
Otto was abandoned as a puppy when he had parvovirus. He recovered well and is a loving and loyal companion. He was attacked by a dog in our neighborhood when he was a puppy and since that time has been dog aggressive. He is very strong and determined, and can no longer be cared for by his elderly owner. His tolerance to children or cats is unknown and he is the only dog in the household. He is housebroken and does not require daily medications.

Charlie is a real good dog. We got her as a rescue about two years ago. She likes people, dogs, cats. She is very playful and likes to go on walks. She is also kennel trained and likes to eat there too. She sleeps in my room on a bed that we made her. When I walk her and she wants to play with all the other dogs and will get the zoomies

Story
Bluebell is a sweet 6 year old female English Mini Bulldog. She’s great around kids and other adults. She is also good with other dogs once she warms up to them. She tends to not like cats so much. We hate to give her up but my wife has had major surgery and can no longer walk her. I work a lot of hours and cannot spend the time with her that she deserves. We have her shot records and her AKC application but we never saw the need to fill it out and send it in. Bluebell has no health issues that we are aware of.

Story
We adopted Miles from a small Hollister, California shelter in December 2020. They estimated he was almost a year old then (now he is 4 or 5). Animal control picked him up on the street. He is very sweet with our immediate family: myself, my husband, and our 11-year-old daughter. He will sit next to you for cuddles and pets when he's in the mood. He spends most of the day looking out the windows. He loves any type of chew and dissecting soft toys. He’s wary of strangers, neighbors, and our family members who don’t live in the home. He will bark at anyone that comes to the door. When he sees other dogs on walks, he does a play bow, so he’s probably frustrated because he wants to interact with them. He's quiet and calm when it’s just us at home. He’s food-motivated, loves hiking, and sniffaris. He’ll usually follow you from room to room and settle wherever you are.
