Story
Gus is a 5 year old German Shepherd and weighs approximately 115 pounds. We acquired him from a family who wanted to breed their dogs. The mom was a standard GSD and the dad was all black. I see Gus in a home with someone who is experienced with handling a GSD. I see him in a big backyard to protect it from squirrels, foxes and cats. He is anxious around young children so a home with 12 year old and older would be best for him. He will not eat his food unless you give him the “ok” otherwise he will be making a puddle of drool. He had his yearly vet visit at the end of February and is up to date with vaccines.

Story
Meet Angel! ❤️ Angel is a 1-year-old, 45-pound pit mix looking for a family to call his own. He’s a happy, playful boy who loves being with his people and has really started to come out of his shell. He enjoys walks, loves running and playing, and is just as happy relaxing on the couch afterward. Angel is cat friendly, has lived with other dogs (slow introductions recommended), and walks nicely on a leash. As a puppy, he suffered a head injury that left him with a unique skull shape, but it doesn’t affect his quality of life. Over the past few months, he’s been learning what it means to be part of a family and grows more confident every day. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet companion who’s ready for his fresh start, Angel would love to meet you! Neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go home.

Bear is a huge funny sweet puppy! He was found in Delaware wandering and was adopted by another family. They loved him and took great care of him. They had a medical emergency with one of their children and surrendered him to me. I have a bichon and hoped they would be best buddies. Bear is absolutely wonderful. He is smart athletic goofy and full of energy. He is a delight. Funny playful and ready for his forever home.

Story
Benjamin Needs a Loving Home 🐾❤️Benjamin is a loving, house-trained dog who is up to date on all of his shots. We’ve had him for about 2–3 years after rescuing him from a situation where he was sometimes left in a cage for more than 18 hours. Because of his past, we do not recommend crating him, and thankfully we’ve never needed to.Benjamin loves going for walks and car rides and is truly a good dog. He gets along well with our female dog, but unfortunately, he does not get along with one of our other dogs. The situation has become unsafe, and as much as we love Benjamin, we feel finding him the right home is the best and safest thing for everyone. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where Benjamin can be given the attention, patience, and care he deserves. We want to be completely honest about his situation so we can find the right fit.He really is a good boy and deserves a wonderful second chance. ❤️🐶

Story
Atlas is one of a litter of five surrendered to a shelter in TN. At 4 mos, Atlas and a male sibling were transferred to a shelter in PA. At 5 mos, both dogs were adopted by my son. At 6 Mos, I took on Atlas to foster and brought him to MD. He has been with me, living on a boat in a beautiful Chesapeake Bay marina, where he is adjusting well. Atlas is very friendly to all people and pets. As a puppy his age and size, 6 mos and 45 lbs, he needs more room and activity than I can provide. I have very much enjoyed fostering him, but now he needs and deserves a "forever home."
