Story
Gus is a 5 year old German Shepherd and weighs approximately 115 pounds. We acquired him from a family who wanted to breed their dogs. The mom was a standard GSD and the dad was all black. I see Gus in a home with someone who is experienced with handling a GSD. I see him in a big backyard to protect it from squirrels, foxes and cats. He is anxious around young children so a home with 12 year old and older would be best for him. He will not eat his food unless you give him the “ok” otherwise he will be making a puddle of drool. He had his yearly vet visit at the end of February and is up to date with vaccines.

Story
Rufus is a deaf, 6.5 year old pit mix. He is super sweet, energetic, loves to walk and play. Knows about 8 different hand signal commands. Moving to an apartment and I think he would do better in a house with space and a yard.We had another dog that died last year. I think he would like to be in a home with another dog again.

Story
Biscuit is a sweet, affectionate, and cuddly mini aussiedoodle - and she doesn’t shed!! She is great with children and other dogs but would also happily be spoiled as an ‘only’! She is getting older (10 years old) but is still active and playful and has no medical issues or special needs. My schedule is changing very soon and I will not be able to give her the time and attention she deserves.

Story
Leela has been with me for the last 1.5yrs and has been an incredibly loyal and loving companion. I adopted her at about 10 months old after she was found wandering the CA desert with her sisters. She’s 50% Belgian Malinois, 25% Bulldog, and 25% Staffordshire Terrier. Since PCSing from Southern California, she hasn’t adjusted well to downtown Annapolis, but she’s been thriving at my aunt’s farm in western Virginia where she started spending more time. Leela would do best in a home with land, consistent attention, and plenty of exercise. She’s very smart, athletic, and loves swimming, running, and hiking, though she doesn’t do great in heat due to her bulldog side. She gets along great with other dogs and has done well in daycare and boarding, and she’s been fine around farm animals. She has shown some resource guarding around me, but not with others and can be nervous (which I presume is from her puppy days). Overall, she’s a great dog who just needs to find a better environment

Story
Meet Angel! ❤️ Angel is a 1-year-old, 45-pound pit mix looking for a family to call his own. He’s a happy, playful boy who loves being with his people and has really started to come out of his shell. He enjoys walks, loves running and playing, and is just as happy relaxing on the couch afterward. Angel is cat friendly, has lived with other dogs (slow introductions recommended), and walks nicely on a leash. As a puppy, he suffered a head injury that left him with a unique skull shape, but it doesn’t affect his quality of life. Over the past few months, he’s been learning what it means to be part of a family and grows more confident every day. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet companion who’s ready for his fresh start, Angel would love to meet you! Neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go home.

Story
Bo is a hesitant boy, he takes a little to warm up to you but once he does, he is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle. He is good with small or low energy dogs, but not a fan of big or high energy friends. Bo is staying at Arnold Pet Station - a veterinary hospital and boarding facility located in Arnold, MD. He was recently surrendered by an elderly woman who became ill and could no longer take care of him. He was already boarding with us, so we offered to take him in and find a good home for him and she agreed. He is now under our custody and is doing great, but we want to find him a comfy home where he can get constant love for the rest of his life. One thing to note is that Bo has Cushing's disease and requires medication twice a day. He will also need to get his blood checked at least twice a year. He is such a sweet dog and we hope to find him a loving home soon. Please reach out if you are interested in meeting Bo or want to learn more about him.
