Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Have you ever seen such a handsome guy?! Names Jace, nice to meet you. I am looking for an active home with another friendly dog! I can be a bit shy when meeting strangers, especially behind a fence. But I swear if you talk sweet to me we will be quick friends. If you would like to add a hunk like me to your family, stop on by! Handler's Note: Jace has made tons of new friends while in Playgroup, but will occasionally get a bit too rough and hyper-fixate on certain dogs (Typically unaltered males). When he gets like this, it can be difficult to get his attention and calm him down. With proper training and plenty of exercise, he will be great for an adult household.

Story
Are you looking for a sweet, active doggo? Well, I am your girl! My name is Caity and I am the happiest girl you'll ever meet. I love to play and go on walks, but a good cuddle is definitely on my list of favorite things. Dogs my size or bigger are the best fit for me, as I tend to play a bit rough with dogs smaller than me. If you you want to wake up to this cute face every morning, fill out an application to set up a time to meet me!

American Pit Bull Terrier Mixed Breed (Large)

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Handler's Note: Cena has done well with every dog that he has been introduced to in Playgroup. He listens well and seems to tolerate most play styles with no issue. However, Cena does become erratic around infants and cats/small animals. While he hasn't shown any aggression, it is difficult to get his attention or calm him down while he is fixated. He would be a wonderful addition to a home with no small children.

Story
Hi there, my name's Ears... for obvious reasons. I am a middle-aged lady with plenty of spunk. I would prefer a home with no small children because, to be honest, hugs are just NOT my thing. I'd much rather snuggle up next to you on the couch. I love playing tug-of-war with my caretakers but if you are a v-e-t, no thanks. I have a special mask (muzzle) that I wear when I visit them and medication I take to keep me calm while I'm there. Handler's Note: Ears has a ton of energy and can be a bit dramatic when other dogs invade her personal space. If she is being harassed by another dog, she will give very loud, vocal corrections that can sometimes escalate the conflict. She has a bit of barrier aggression towards other dogs, but seems fine with them in Playgroup.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Handler's Note: Steve has made plenty of friends in Playgroup, however he does not take corrections from other dogs well. Currently, Steve would do better in a household that has a submissive dog with a gentle personality. Though it is believed that with proper time and training, he can learn to be more considerate.

Story
Handler's Note: Leah has a ton of pent up energy. She tends to get overstimulated when walking past other rowdy dogs. When this happens, she may try to redirect onto her handler. She seems fine once she calms down. Muzzled walks around the shelter are recommended to help break the habit.
