Story
Meet Millie! 🐾 Millie is a beautiful 3-year-old brindle Pit Bull mix who has been on a year long journey to her forever family. After arriving at the shelter shy and unsure, we discovered she was living with severe pain in both knees. Following two successful surgeries and months of recovery in foster care, Millie has truly blossomed! Today, she's a happy, affectionate girl who loves people, gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats, and has a tail that never seems to stop wagging. She enjoys playing fetch, riding in the car, destroying stuffed toys, and ending the day snuggled on the couch with her favorite person. Millie's journey is proof of what love and a second chance can do. Now all she needs is a family to call her own. Come meet this amazing girl and see if she's the missing piece of your family!

Story
Meet a loyal, gentle companion ready for her next home. For 8 years this amazing girl has been a joy. She’s a true frisbee dog who loves chasing and bringing the disc right back. On walks she’s excellent—calm with no pulling or tugging. She’s outstanding with children, deeply bonded and protective of her family, and very loving to her family. She has also served as an unofficial support animal for a son with special needs, offering quiet comfort and loyalty.Note: She does best as the only pet and is not a fit for homes with other animals.A devoted, well-mannered dog who thrives with outdoor play and peaceful walks. She’s ready for a family who will cherish her the way she has cherished hers.

Story
Meet Emoticon! Emoticon is a 3½-year-old, 42-pound sweetheart who really just wants to be close to her people. She loves cuddling, sleeping with you, and soaking up all the affection she can get! Emoticon is smart and very easy to train. She has learned “sit,” has made great progress with keeping all four paws on the floor, and now patiently waits outside the kitchen instead of helping herself to the counters. She responds well to gentle correction and is especially motivated by treats. When Emoticon needs to go outside, she’ll give you a nudge, so pay attention because she means right now! She also prefers to take a little walk before doing her business, usually about two blocks. On walks, treats are a great way to keep her attention if something exciting, like a rabbit, catches her eye. She listens well and is learning quickly. Most of all, Emoticon is a really good dog with a whole lot of love to give. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate cuddle buddy who wants to be part of your family, come meet Emoticon!
