Story
Sylvie will completely melt your heart when you meet her. At 4.5 months old, she is one of the gentlest pups you’ll ever meet. Sylvie was very unsocialized as a puppy and lacks confidence, but she loves being loved on. She’ll happily let you give her belly rubs, neck scratches, and face kisses. While she is cautious when approaching strangers, she welcomes the attention when they approach her. Sylvie is fantastic with other dogs and must have a dog companion in her new home. She loves being outside, playing with her foster fur friend, and will need a fenced yard to safely explore. Sylvie would be a wonderful companion for a family with older kids or no kids. She would prefer someone that is home often. She will thrive with a family who can build her confidence and show her how kind and loving humans can be. If you’re ready to spoil this gentle girl and give her the loving home she deserves, apply to meet her https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationNovember 21, 2024, 12:15 am

Story
Leela is a smart, energetic, happy girl who loves belly rubs and playing with toys. She would love an active family with kids to snuggle and a dog friend to play with. Leela is a beautiful puppy with a playful, loving and energetic personality. We are told her mama is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Poodle (we’re unsure about her dad). She is smart, cuddly, and full of love. Leela is looking for an active family with a big backyard, children so she can have plenty of laps to snuggle and a furry friend to play with and learn from. Leela is already potty-trained and working on her commands, crate training, and leash training. Since she’s still young, her new family will need to continue her training as she grows. Leela loves to play with squeaky toys, tennis balls, and chew bones, especially when it’s time to snuggle in her crate. She’s affectionate, playful, and absolutely loves belly rubs, making her a perfect match for a family who’s ready for a fun, active, and loving dog. If you’re looking for a playful companion who’ll fill your days with joy and cuddles, Leela might be the perfect fit for you. If she sounds like the perfect match, fill out an adoption application at https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application to meet her!January 19, 2025, 11:52 am

Story
Zuzu is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back! She has plenty of fun, goofy energy and loves to run around and explore, but she also enjoys cuddling and downtime and will happily curl up in your bed and snuggle up when she’s ready for a break. Zuzu is also a total cuddle bug—she loves to snuggle and will often fall asleep on your lap, completely relaxed. This smart girl is doing great in being potty trained. She is also crate trained and already knows sit, come, stay, and more. Shes even learned to sit and wait patiently for the cue “free” before eating! Zuzu is eager to please, quick to learn, and super treat-motivated, making training easy and fun. Want a pup to go to the beach? Zuzu is all ready. Zuzu gets along great with kids, other dogs, and even cats. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, snuggling up for a nap, or flopping onto your lap for some serious relaxation, she’s always a joy to have around. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate pup with the perfect mix of energy and chill, Zuzu is your gal! You can apply to adopt her at  luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application. Story
Ava is an active and social dog that weighs about 43 lbs. She will be turning 2 years old this December. Ava is dog-friendly, intelligent, and is popular at the dog park and doggy daycare. Ava loves to play with every dog she meets. Therefore, she would do best in a home with another young dog to play with daily. An active family who is home during the day would be great for her. She can get the zoomies if cooped up for long periods of time. She loves pools, lakes, beaches, and hikes; she’d be a great dog for a family that likes to spend time outdoors. She also loves to play tug-of-war (she’ll probably win!) and fetch. Ava is good with kids but because of her love of zoomies and her playful energy, we recommend kids 12 or older. Ava needs a yard that is fenced. She can jump a 4’ fence easily. The times she has gotten out she stays close by and hasn’t run away; she also has good recall. We haven’t tested her with an electric fence but because she’s so intelligent, we do think she’d learn to use one easily. She is housebroken and isn’t crated when left alone; she has free reign of the house and as long as there isn’t a plate of food left out for her to swipe, she’s fine. She doesn’t particularly like crates but has tolerated them in the past. She can sometimes be hesitant around new people at first, particularly adult men, but will warm up to them quickly. She will make a fun, and loving companion, especially if you are looking for an active, playful fun-loving dog! If you’d like to meet her you can apply on our website at  https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationNovember 21, 2024, 12:15 am

Story
Say hello to Wishbone, a fun, happy pup who’s bursting with love, energy, and sweetness! This boy is seriously AMAZING! He adores everyone he meets and will be a perfect addition to an active family with kids and other dogs. Wishbone is a happy boy who enjoys giving hugs and kisses, playing in the yard and snuggling with his people and dog friends. He would do great with a younger, playful dog in his forever home so he has a buddy to play with. Don’t let the pictures deceive you, he’s a little guy at just 32 lbs and won’t get much bigger than that! He’s a perfect size; not too big, not too small! He’s a perfect friend to to take on adventures, curl up on the couch with you and snuggle up in your lap! Wishbone is housebroken and crate trained and does good on a leash. He will master commands with continued training, lots of praise and treats! Because of his energy level, it’s best he has a fenced yard so he has the freedom to run zoomies and burn off some energy safely. He’d also enjoy going for walks, hiking, even car rides to go to fun places! This happy, tail-wagging sweetheart will bring endless fun and love to your home! If you’d like to meet him, please apply at https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationJanuary 19, 2025, 11:30 am
