Story
Tango is a gentle 9-year-old terrier mix weighing just 12 pounds, with a heart that craves love and connection—on his own terms. He adores attention and affection and is happiest when his person sits nearby, talks to him, and showers him with gentle love. While he isn’t a lapdog, Tango enjoys being close and feeling included. Tango also appreciates his independence and likes having time to himself. He’s perfectly content relaxing quietly on his own, making him a great match for a calm household that respects his need for personal space. He enjoys life’s simple pleasures: going outside and laying in the sun, chewing on bully sticks and other chewies, and playing with toys—especially ones that make noise or have squeakers. Tango would enjoy regular walks and, as long as he’s walked frequently and monitored on a leash, he does not require a fenced yard. He should not be left unsupervised outside. Tango gets along well with other dogs, particularly those his own size, and would do well in a home with or without other dogs. He’s happy sharing space but doesn’t demand constant interaction. At night, Tango snuggles into his comfy doggie bed in his foster mom’s bedroom and sleeps quietly through the night. While other dogs may climb into the big bed, Tango prefers his own cozy spot—comforted simply by knowing his person is nearby. With his peaceful temperament, gentle affection, and independent streak, Tango would thrive in a quiet, loving home where companionship is balanced with respect for his space. If you’re looking for a sweet senior dog who offers calm devotion without being clingy, Tango is ready to find his forever home. Tango is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. He’s had a dental, is microchipped and dewormed. Tango’s adoption fee is $300. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. If you're looking for a very sweet and lovable little guy to join your family, please fill out an application on AAP’s website.

Story
Looking for a little shadow with a big heart? Meet Oreo, a 3-year-old, 11-pound Shih Tzu mix who's ready to become someone's devoted best friend.Oreo is quiet, laid-back, and incredibly affectionate. He may need a little time to adjust to a new home and routine, but once he settles in, he'll happily become part of the family. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or spending time with loved ones, Oreo simply wants to be included. He gets along well with other small dogs his size and enjoys their company. Oreo would thrive in a home where he's involved in everyday family life with people who enjoy having their furry companion by their side. While he loves people, we're looking for a home without young children.A securely fenced yard would be wonderful, but Oreo would also be perfectly happy with regular leash walks. He is not a dog who should spend long hours in a crate. Having previously spent far too much time confined, Oreo is happiest when he's with his people. He will also need a patient family willing to help him continue learning a consistent potty routine, as he is adjusting to life outside of the crate.Oreo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, had a dental, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm prevention. Oreo's adoption fee is $375

Story
Dottie is a sweet, 2-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 9 pounds. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through. This little Velcro pup wants nothing more than to be by your side—or even better, curled up in your lap! Dottie is doing great with her potty training and enjoys going outside. She walks nicely on a leash and loves keeping an eye out for squirrels during her strolls. While toys don't seem to interest her much, spending time with her people is her favorite pastime. Car rides can make Dottie a bit nervous, so she rides best when safely secured with a seat belt harness or in a crate. Because of her timid nature, Dottie would do best in a home with children age 10 and older who can respect her need to settle in at her own pace. Once she trusts you, you'll have a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily follow you wherever you go. If you're looking for a devoted little shadow to share your days with, Dottie may be the perfect match! Dottie is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Dottie’s adoption fee is $375.00. Story
Travis is a happy, playful 10-month-old Mini Doodle with a fun-loving personality and a heart that's ready for a fresh start. While his first several months weren't the easiest, he's blossomed into a sweet boy who is eager to find a family that will give him the love, patience, and stability he deserves. Travis enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a canine companion to romp around with. He has also been around cats, but he can be a little too enthusiastic and doesn't always remember to be gentle. This smart pup knows his basic commands, is crate trained, and is fully potty trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Because of his past experiences, Travis needs to be fed separately from other dogs and given the time and space to enjoy his meals without interruption. We also feel he would do best in an adult-only home where he can continue to build his confidence. A securely fenced yard is preferred so he has a safe place to run, play, and burn off his puppy energy. Travis is looking for a family that will appreciate his playful spirit, understand his needs, and give him the loving forever home he's been waiting for. In return, he'll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and plenty of happy tail wags. Travis is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Travis’s adoption fee is $450.00

Story
Meet Rudy, a very dapper 5 year old poodle mix! With his golden coat, handsome scruff, and darling corkscrew tail, this little guy is practically guaranteed to steal your heart. Rudy is a bit of a Velcro dog and loves to be right where his people are at. When he’s excited, his gets a case of "the wiggles" to show you how much fun he is having. Rudy is a social little guy who loves everyone. He enjoys playing with small dogs and is totally unbothered by cats—they’re just roommate material to him. Rudy is a smart little boy. He has quickly learned the potty routine and does well with a consistent schedule. He’s also crate trained, though he sometimes requires a tiny bribe go in the crate when you leave. Rudy can be a little possessive of his toys at times and his foster family is working on showing him sharing is ok. Rudy would fit into a variety of homes but as he is still working on his sharing skills, an adult home and/or one with dog savvy older children would be best. Rudy is neutered, had a dental, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Rudy’s adoption fee is $400.00

Story
Paisley is a sweet, loving 2-year-old girl who's ready to find the forever family she's been dreaming of. Once she bonds with her people, she becomes the most devoted companion, happiest when she's by your side and included in everything you do. Whether you're relaxing at home or moving from room to room, Paisley will be your loyal little shadow. She's wonderful on a leash and is bell-trained to let you know when she needs to go outside. Paisley enjoys playing and getting her zoomies out, so she'd do best in a home with dogs of a similar size who can be her playmates. Because Paisley can be a little vocal when she's excited, a single-family home would be the best fit for her. Paisley is an incredibly well-mannered, affectionate, and loyal companion with so much love to give. All she's missing is a safe, loving home where she can share her big heart with a family of her own. If you're looking for a faithful best friend, Paisley is ready to meet you! Paisley is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Paisley’s adoption fee is $375.00
