Nina is a 6 month-old pittie who was found abandoned with her siblings. Nina's siblings have all been adopted, but she has spent the vast majority of her life in our shelter. She’s now in foster care, and she’s doing great! Her foster parents say Nina is working hard on her house training and learning her manners. She’s an affectionate, energetic young lady who loves attention and is ready to keep growing with a family of her own. Nina can be a little rowdy but she is super sweet! She loves people. Nina has so much love to give and just needs someone to give her a chance. Could you be the one she’s been waiting for? Nina will need active adopters, homeowners only, with bully-breed experience and without small children, dogs, or cats. She has a dominant personality and will need consistency and training while she’s young. Nina been spayed, dewormed, and vaccinated. Kiara has tested negative for heartworm, has been spayed, and is current on vaccinations/flea/heartworm preventative. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet food upon adoption. Adoption fee $240. Story
Alfie is a 1-year-old boy with gorgeous eyes who was found as a stray in terrible condition. He was very skinny and was starting to give up. Through veterinary care, TLC, and time, he has grown into an healthy, active boy and is ready for a home to call his own. He is now around 50 pounds. Alfie likes other dogs and people, though he may be a little too enthusiastic for kids under 8. While he has never hurt a cat, he does like to chase them, so a home without cats would be preferred. Alfie would do best with an active owner as he loves to go on walks and hikes. A fenced-in yard will be necessary. Alfie is neutered, vaccinated, housetrained (as long as he has outside opportunities), and crate-trained. He does well in the car and loves going to the pet store to get his baths. Alfie has tested negative for heartworm, is spayed/neutered, and is current on vaccinations. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet pet food upon adoption. Adoption donation: $240. *Unless a future date is otherwise stated, animals are ready to be adopted once posted to Petfinder. Meet Percy, an adult dog with a big heart and lots of love to give! Percy may not get along with other dogs, but he loves people and is especially friendly once he gets to know you. Volunteers adore him, and one even described him as “the bestest boy!” Always the optimist, Percy enjoys basking in the sun and receiving belly rubs. He likes treats and toys, and he’s even well-behaved when it comes to leash-walking and riding in cars. Percy really shines as a solo pet, and with his estimated birthdate in 2018, he’s just hitting his prime. He has been vetted, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he’s on heartworm and flea prevention. We’re sure that Percy will be a devoted companion, and we’re hoping to find him a forever home where he can really shine. Adoption fee is sponsored thanks to generous donations from Percy's friends (includes leash & collar.)
