Story
Buddy was adopted around October by my elderly father-in-law to be an emotional support animal. My father-in-law is no longer able to care for Buddy. The shelter he was in said he was approximately 5 years old. Buddy is a loving dog who wants to sit on your lap or beside you in your chair. He also loves to play with his toys. Buddy is currently in a home with 2 large dogs. While he gets along with them very well he would be great as a single dog so he could get all the attention and toys. He plays fetch but forgets to bring the ball back. Buddy is neutered, housebroken, and we have been working with him on basis training (sit when you get a treat, wait to jump in the chair until you are given permission, etc.)

Story
Despite a challenging start to life, Venus has thrived under the care of her wonderful foster family. She became a part of the APARC family in November 2023 after being discovered abandoned with her siblings at the CJ Brown Reservoir Marina when she was only 4-5 weeks old. On January 5, 2024, she faced a setback when she fractured her little ankle, leading to a severe infection that almost resulted in losing her leg. Fortunately, her foster family's dedication saved her leg, though she later battled a severe skin infection causing most of her hair to fall out. Now, after several months, Venus is prepared to join a loving family that will guide her towards exciting adventures instead of misfortunes! Venus is a spirited and affectionate pup who has won the hearts of many medical professionals and visitors at her foster home in her short life. She adores people of all ages, plays well with dogs, and is curious around tolerant cats. Venus is a cuddle bug who will sweetly persuade you to sit down so she can snuggle up next to you or on your lap. Her energetic nature makes her a great companion for outdoor activities like hiking or playing fetch in the backyard, making her an ideal match for an active family or kids. Despite a past leg injury, she still enjoys jumping, so a fenced backyard is a must. At six months old and weighing around 35lbs, Venus is a female pit mix. She’s had 3 rounds of DAPP, bordetella, and is microchipped along with having been dewormed multiple times. She is crate trained and mostly housebroken, with some accidents due to her recent medical issues. A 6ft fenced yard or supervised tie-out area is needed for her outdoor time. Venus will be adopted on a spay agreement at one year old, considering her health concerns. Her adoption fee is $250. If you're interested in welcoming Venus into your home, please complete the form www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/OHAP/Dog and reach out to us! Meet and greets will take place in Enon, OH.

Story
My dogs name is hooch he is a boxer mix around 40 lbs. I acquired him when he was just a pup. He was a family dog for many years. He is not use to being around strangers but warms up quick. He has a highly energetic side but also is fine with just relaxing an watching TV with the family. Hes abit on the rough end with walking an can be strainious to the average person so I recommend perhaps someone young an wants a good loyal friend to obtain him. He is a very loyal companion with quick learning ability. If someone could please take him in I promise a good friend for a lifetime. He does need trained to be comfortable with other dogs. He's used to being the only dog of the house so training with that is needed. Hes dog reactive but people friendly an unfortunately im not able to keep him.The moving around has him stressed already an he's already not eating normaly. He needs a permanent home. If you could please help contact me ASAP. Tesv19@gmail.com
