Story
Ollie, also known as Oliver Bean, is a purebred Golden Retriever with a huge heart and so much love to give. He is sweet, loyal, affectionate, and would make an amazing family dog. Ollie is great with kids and other dogs, and he loves being included in family life. He enjoys hikes, outdoor adventures, walks, and anything that lets him spend time with his people. He is very smart and responds well to commands. He listens well and wants to please, which makes him a joy to be around. Ollie is not neutered, but he has not shown aggression. He is a loving, friendly dog who just needs a home that can give him the time, attention, and activity he deserves. Ollie does have some manageable allergies. His ears can get yeasty, and his paws can get itchy, but this has been easy to manage with anti-itch spray and antifungal spray. We are hoping to find him a family that can give him the love and attention that he gives and deserves!

Story
Are you a fan of movie nights and hanging out in your jammies? If so, I might be the girl for you! At only 11 months old, I'm still a young, active pup, but I'm also a big fan of getting comfy in my PJs and relaxing. I'd love a family who likes to go for outdoor adventures before cuddling up on the couch at the end of the day! I've done well in playgroups with the other pups at SICSA, so I might also enjoy a playmate at home. I recently got a break from the shelter, and my foster mom had great things to say about me! In her exact words, "She was very affectionate and even let me rub her belly and brush her. She loves to cuddle and was respectful of my bed." See, I really do love to cuddle! I also love toys, especially squeaky toys and a game of fetch. Oh! Another thing I love is water! I love splashing around in the kiddie pools here at SICSA and I even tried jumping into a pond before! I love soft blankies. I love learning new tricks. But you know what I'd REALLY love most of all? For you to come take me home!!! I'm available for adoption through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm. To schedule an appointment or inquire about walk-in availability, you can reach us during our open hours at 937-294-6505.

Story
Meet the incredibly gorgeous Ruby 😍 Ruby is an adorably sweet girl, estimated to be 3 years old and is a spayed female American Pit/Staffie mix (Wisdom panel already performed). She is updated on everything and microchipped. She is house and crate trained. Overall, what this girl wants is to be with her human and dog pack. She loves to play in the yard with toys and dog friends. She is submissive to big dogs, but is assertive with dogs her size and smaller. No cats or small animals for this girl! She loves tug o war with a big rope, and to fetch her Kong toys. She has a competitive spirit and is learning not to nip her humans playing with her. It is recommended that she be in a home with children 6+ or no small children as she has a rough play style and doesn't yet understand her own strength. She tends to play rough with her furry friends, but not in an aggressive way with humans or fellow fur friends. Ruby is working on leash manners, as she tends to pull and will lunge at wildlife and other small animals (squirrels, cats, etc). She is medium energy and thrives with a routine of walking, playing inside/outside, and napping. Ruby loves to snuggle on the couch with her pack for meals and also join them in bed (but she is crate trained). She can self-occupy entertain herself with Benebones (her favorite) and other tough-chewer toys. In her foster home, she has only had one destructive incident (she was unsupervised for a moment), so she is trusted anywhere in the house.

Story
Hello there, friends! My name is Bear! Just like my name, I'm a big, loving, furry friend! I'm a huge fan of going for walks while carrying my favorite toy. My current favorite is a stuffed Lambchop; I take it everywhere with me! I think I'm a big softie, but I've heard the shelter staff say I'm super fit for an older guy. Not trying to brag or nothin'. Just sayin', if you're looking for the best gym buddy, playmate, and cuddle buddy, I'm your guy! This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm. Story
Zeus – The Big-Headed Treat Catching Champion Zeus is a 6-year-old large-breed mix who has come a long way from the life he once knew. He was discovered living in an abandoned house with another dog, severely underweight and in desperate need of care. Since then, Zeus has received the veterinary attention, good food, and love he needed to become the happy, healthy dog he was always meant to be. One look at Zeus and you'll notice his impressively large noggin—but it's just one of the many things that make him special. He's a treat-catching superstar, happily snatching snacks right out of the air with remarkable skill. Food is definitely the way to his heart, making him a great candidate for continued training and bonding. Zeus is looking for an adult-only home where he can relax, feel secure, and enjoy the life he deserves. Beneath his tough past is a loyal, loving companion who is ready to leave those difficult days behind and focus on what matters most: a comfy bed, tasty treats, and people to call his own. If you're looking for a resilient dog with a giant head, an even bigger personality, and endless appreciation for a second chance, Zeus is ready to meet you. Zeus is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm. To schedule an appointment or inquire about walk-in availability, you can reach us during our open hours at 937-294-6505.

Story
Owen is an 11 yr old male. He has been a loyal, devoted, and constant companion to my sister during her battle with terminal cancer. His love and comfort has helped her through her most difficult time. He has had one owner, my sister, and is in need of a loving home when she is gone. He is large, 120 lbs, and as a senior probably prefers a quiet home. Please consider rehoming this dedicated friend.
