Story
My family and I are saddened to say we are very busy with owning a company and myself going back to work full time. We have five children as well and stay busy with their schooling and sports activities, that we do not give Daisy the attention she needs and deserves. Our children love and adore her but have finally accepted that it is best she finds a family who have time for her and a large yard to run in. She loves to play fetch, loves all dog toys especially balls, and loves her belly rubbed.

Story
Roni is a smart, loyal, and affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is an active companion who enjoys regular walks and staying engaged, but she also appreciates her downtime and is happy to relax once her energy needs are met. Roni forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys being part of daily life. She is fully house trained, comfortable with free feeding, and does well with routine and structure. Roni generally gets along with other dogs, does best in a home with no cats, and is suited for a household with older children who understand dog boundaries. She can be protective of her home and may get excited when new people arrive, but she responds well to guidance and basic commands with patience and consistency. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but with the arrival of a new baby and limited space in our home, we are no longer able to give Roni the level of time, activity, attention, and room she truly needs. Our hope is to find someone.

Story
In January of 2025, I was driving in the Dayton area and saw her in the street. She was filthy and hungry so I decided to temporarily take her in. After trying to find her owners for weeks, I decided to keep her. All the shelters were full and I was not willing to take her to a kill shelter. During her stay, I realized she is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met, but she is uncomfortable around other pets, especially during food time. I decided to take her to a professional behavioral trainer. Although the training improved her behavior around the other dogs, I still continue to see how uncomfortable she is around them. I am looking for a pet free home for her where she will be the only one getting attention. As much as I love her, I want her to have the best life possible. I am going to be VERY picky about who I let adopt her. I am also willing to pay for her new owners to go through 4 training sessions with her former trainer who is familiar with her.

Story
Bruce is a very, very sweet dog, but we need to be clear: Bruce has never experienced a single thought. Not one. We’re pretty sure there is a very large cheese wheel where his brain should be. (He really loves cheese.) Bruce is wonderful at playing, zooming, cuddling, and following his nose, but critical thinking? No. He's done well with other dogs. He would definitely fail algebra. He’s a goober, and we love him for it. This cheese loving goofball is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm. To schedule an appointment or inquire about walk-in availability, you can reach us during our open hours at 937-294-6505.
