Meeko is a great companion who we are heartbroken to have to rehome. We rescued him 5 years ago and unfortunately because of a military move, the location we are going wouldn’t be fair to him as he would have no yard. He loves to be outside and roam the yard and observe all of his surroundings. Meeko thrives on praise as but most of all just loves, love.

Very sweet little girl, 5-6 months per vet. Has had first series of vacs shots and will have the second in a few weeks. Also scheduled for her spay. Mixed breed, possibly bull terrier, whippet mix per educated guess. Was found limping down the road, problem with right hind leg due to old injury per vet and X-rays. Still uses leg some and per vet should only be an issue with arthritis later in life. Seems like she has had some training, almost housebroken and can sit. Listens very well and seems eager to please. Tries desperately to play with my dog but my dog is a rescue that isn’t very welcoming to a new friend. Eats well and has done well with sleeping in crate for the few days I have had her. Happy and loving personality. Likes to lay on your lap and get petted. Wish I could keep her but don’t see that future with my current pup. Need to find her place to live forever and happily

My other hobbies include chillin' with my besties (2 legs AND 4 legs!), visiting the local mud puddle, gardening, modeling, and . . . well, basically, being an all-around handsome fella'. At least, that's what everyone says. Oh, and I love working out with my trainer. I'm a basic obedience MASTER. I'm kind of a big deal around here, if you can't tell. If you like to enjoy life, maybe you would consider me as your side kick. Maybe even give me a sidekick nickname! Darrell may not be the most handsome dog around, but what he lacks in appearances, he more than makes up for with emotional intelligence. Darrell is one of the best cuddle buddies you could ever ask for, and is very in-sync with "his people". Because of his eagerness to please, he's easy to train and LOVES learning new tricks. Darrell has been working extra hard with our behavior team lately, and especially enjoys his fieldtrips to nearby parks where he can practice his basic obedience skills in public. Darrell has been with SICSA for over a year and has won the hearts of staff and volunteers, but we know it's about time for this boy to find a home of his own! SICSA will be with you every step of the way to support our goldfish-faced goober's adjustment to a new home -- all you have to do is reach out to learn more! When Timber first came to SICSA back in January of 2022, he was a rude and rowdy young lad with no training and zero socialization with other animals. Fast-forward to a year and a half later, and you would hardly recognize him as the same dog! Timber has been working his tail off (pun intended) with our behavior team; he now knows some basic commands and has started making friends with other dogs! Timber loves puzzle toys, scent work, and exploring the great outdoors with his human and canine friends. If you're looking for an active companion to join your family, you might belong on #TeamTimber!
