Story
Meet Winny — your future shadow, snuggle supervisor, and part-time silly girl. 💁‍♀️🐾Winny is a 35-pound bundle of love who firmly believes personal space is a myth. Her hobbies include making sure you never feel alone and making best friends out of kids, dogs, and probably your mail carrier if given the chance. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I had a tiny, affectionate sidekick who follows me everywhere,” congratulations—Winny has already filled out that role. This smart little overachiever comes pre-loaded with “sit,” “come,” “leave it,” and “place.” She also responds fluently to “nap,” which she takes very seriously… especially if it means you’re also going to bed. She sleeps nicely in her crate, though she would like to formally file a complaint about being away from you while awake. (She recovers quickly, but she will be a little dramatic about it at first.)Winny LOVES walks, car rides, squeaky toys, and having a dog buddy to share her excitement with. Honestly, if joy were a sport, she’d be competing professionally. She’s potty trained like a pro. Want more good news? Winny comes fully equipped for success. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and her adoption includes THREE training sessions (yes, three!) plus THREE days of doggy daycare at the Dayton Dog Den—because even social butterflies need a social calendar. At about a year and a half old, this Greyhound/Boxer mix has the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddle expertise. She’s ready to bring laughter, love, and just a tiny bit of chaos into your life.If your home is missing a loyal, goofy, affectionate best friend who will allert you to stangers on your property… Winny is your girl.Apply to adopt at: www.pawpatroldayton.com/adoptAdoption fee: $260Warning: adopting Winny may result in excessive smiling, constant companionship, and never going to the bathroom alone again. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Hello Everyone - my name is Ruby Riot, though I have no earthly idea where the latter part of the name came from, because I am a very sweet, very proper lady. Aside from being downright gorgeous, I am also a happy, well-behaved companion and world-class snuggler. I love to play with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and am always ready for an adventure. I do well in the car, and love to be out in public meeting people and getting all the pets. I have really good leash manners and am always up for a walk, though I sometimes get distracted by other dogs and the occasional squirrel or other furry little distraction. I’m crate trained and house-broken. Though between you and me, I prefer not to be in the crate, because you aren’t in there with me. You should get a bigger crate. I’m still working with my foster human on basic commands. I know “sit” and “shake,” though for the life of me, I don’t understand the point of “stay.” If I stay, then how can I be right beside you when you walk away? That just seems dumb, but you two-legged critters are funny that way. I have a lump on my chest but the vet checked me out and I've been cleared - it's just a cyst, so I'm on the hunt for my furever home! If you think I’d make a good addition to your family (hint…I would), then head over to www.miamivalleypitcrew.com and apply to adopt me! ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 06/06/2021 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes, a male dog in the home is required for socialization CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. Story
Hi there! I'm Aiyana! My foster folks say I'm a little princess, and I'm looking for my new castle complete with my royal family. I'm a tiny girl, but believe me, I'm twice the dog I was when I got to MVPC. Literally! I had been abandoned behind a vacant house, and I was severely underweight and missing a bunch of my hair. Even worse, I had a nasty injury to my rear foot and it was thought that I would need that leg amputated. My Vet said he thought I had got it caught in a trap. Luckily for me, my Vet and my foster mom worked really hard to heal my foot and get my leg back into shape. I get around just like any other dog! I can run and jump like a champ! I'm a SUPER sweet girl who adores my humans (kiddos too) and love other dogs. Snuggle times are the bestest. I've got my basic commands down and am working hard on my leash manners. Those snackies I get for being a good girl sure help! If you're looking for a snuggly lover, and are willing to help me continue my studies, I would love to meet you. Just reach out to my friends here at MVPC and tell them Aiyana sent you. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Story
Hey there!! My name is Cree! I'm a big, happy guy who loves to cuddle. I'm a big love bug. I'm working really hard on my house manners but I haven't mastered them all yet. I know sit, stay, no and off. I'm still a puppy so I'm learning and will make mistakes. But I'm a good listener so I'm sure I will have them down soon. I'm a bit of a rule follower and a people pleaser too. I am crate trained and house-broken. I'm pretty comfortable in my crate and don't complain when I need to be in there. I like to play outside and I love toys - balls are life! Overall, I'm a pretty chill dude, my foster mom says when I'm all grown up I'll be the perfect dog! Story
Salley is a gentle, loving girl with a heart full of affection. Salley is one of the Charlie Brown girls who is looking for a forever family to continue showing her how wonderful life can be. After spending the first years of her life in a breeding laboratory, Salley is embracing the comforts of being a cherished companion. This beautiful girl is the oldest of the Charlie Brown sisters, with her ear tattoo indicating she is just a few months over 5 years old. While her past may have been uncertain, Salley greets each day with a wagging tail and excitement every time her people enter the room. She absolutely adores her humans and will quite literally melt into your arms when being held. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, Salley is your girl. With her incredibly soft fur and affectionate nature, she gives some of the very best snuggles.Salley has one special request when it comes to affection—she absolutely loves having her back scratched right at the base of her tail! It’s one of the quickest ways to win her heart. While Salley thrives indoors with her people, the great outdoors is still a bit overwhelming for her. Large, open spaces can be confusing and sometimes frightening, so she will need a patient family willing to help her continue building confidence. Salley doesn't mind being in her crate as long aas her human is in sight, if she cannot see you, she will frantically cry out for help. She does very well using potty pads and is making progress with learning that going potty outside can be safe too.Salley is searching for a quiet, understanding home without small children. She will need a securely fenced yard and would greatly benefit from having a friendly, confident dog companion to help her navigate this new chapter of life and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. After years of knowing only life in a breeding laboratory, Salley deserves a family who will treasure her for the loving, gentle soul she is. She has so much love to give and is ready to spend the rest of her years being someone’s beloved companion.Could Salley be the missing piece your family has been looking for? Salley has been vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed, and is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $310 and you may apply to adopt her at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Kammi is a 4-month-old fun girl with a playful streak and just the right amount of sass. She’s the fun one who is always ready to turn anything into a game and keep you on your toes. She loves her toys and bones. Kammi also has a signature move—playful puppy nipping. It’s not mean at all, just her way of saying “let’s play!” She’s still learning that humans don’t always love that, but with a little guidance and consistency, she’ll grow out of it quickly. Kammi is working on basic commands and making progress. She’s nearly crate trained and progressing with house training. As a young mix of who knows what, Kammi will do best in an active home, especially one familiar with working-breed dogs who can give her structure, exercise, and patience. She does great with other dogs and would be a perfect fit for someone ready for a fun, energetic companion with a big personality. If you are interested in welcoming Kammi to your family, adoption fee is 360 dollars. Kammi is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
