Story
Odin is a sweet, loving boy who is looking for a home that can shower him with the love he deserves. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to the right family. Odin is a high-energy dog, but with the right outlet he settles beautifully. Give him something to chew on and he will happily relax for hours. Unfortunately, our current schedule doesn’t allow us to give him the time and engagement he needs, and we don’t feel it’s fair to keep him crated more than necessary. Despite his playful energy, Odin is amazing with our toddler and has shown himself to be a gentle, loving family companion. He can be a bit overly playful with our cat, but he has never shown aggression, and this behavior could likely improve with consistent guidance. Odin would thrive in a home where someone can be more present and give him plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment. His personality is easy to love, and would be a great family dog to the right home.

Story
Meet Rose. She is a petite 40lb, 2 year old. Rose started her life in Tennessee being bred, only to be turned in and finding she had heartworms. She now starts her new life in PA as a heartworm survivor, spayed, and ready to find a place to call home. More info on her as we get to know her. What I can tell you now is that she likes to cuddle and give kisses, she sits for treats, and is people friendly. We believe she is dog friendly as well but it will take slow introductions. We are guessing she has boxer in her and possibly some staffy. Whatever she is, Rose sure is a cutie pie! Rose is currently being fostered in Littlestown, PA Pa LIC #17216 https://forms.gle/LDjduj2zTk7vvmHU7

Story
NAME: Chickie BREED: Beagle Mix BIRTHDAY: 2012 WEIGHT: 35lbs ADOPTION FEE: $200   Chickie came to us when her owners (thankfully) surrendered her to a VA shelter. They had been keeping her in a pen outside 24 hours a day, despite their claims that she has grass allergies. What really seemed to be happening to poor Chickie was a bad flea infestation, untreated, that left her with half of her hair missing. After months of treatment and medications, her skin is healthy but it appears her hair will never grow back. We give her Apoquel for itching but she is otherwise in good overall health.  &#226&#128&#139 Chickie has put her years of neglect behind her: she is happy in foster care and is a pretty easy girl. Although she is friendly and has never snapped or even growled at anyone, she is still a little head shy and would do best in a home without small children. She does very well with dogs of all sizes, but should be placed in a home without cats. What she really wants is a place where she can get a nice mix of her own space (with her favorite toy football to play with), and attention in the form of walks and snacks. Chickie is crate trained but will need a reminder course on house training. She would love a fenced yard to stretch her legs, sunbathe, and spend time with her forever family.December 10, 2025, 12:09 am

Story
Meet Duke, an 11 year old pug terrier mix with lots of love to give. Duke is very playful, and still gets excited for walks as he retrieves his leash to let you know it's time to go out. He's a sweet boy that enjoys cuddling on the couch, or just following you around like a shadow. He has a 1 of a kind personality, and is still very young at heart. He gets along great with any other dogs, haven't had him around any cats, but he's very laid back, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him cuddling with a cat. Duke has been neutered and has all his vaccinations, so if you'd like to give this sweet loving boy a chance at a good life please apply today. Duke is being fostered in Taneytown Maryland Pa LIC #17216 https://forms.gle/LDjduj2zTk7vvmHU7
