Story
We rescued Max from a horse show this past winter. He gets along great with our cat and older Labradors (after they established a relationship). My husband was diagnosed with stage 3 mouth cancer in April and is going through radiation treatments now. We have not been able to give Max the active and stimulating household he deserves since then. This was never our plan and he is truly loved. We feel what is best for him is land to run and owners that have time to exercise with him daily. He gets along great with our kids 5 and 2.

Story
Meet Ace!   This handsome guy is a 5 year old 60 lb bully mix. True to his name he is an ace at many things including daily walks to keep you in shape. He is such a gentleman he will even retrieve his own harness and leash for his walks! Along with walks, he loves all humans, including kids. He gets so excited when meeting someone new he can’t contain himself, so he’s working on his manners when greeting but it’s all out of love!  No cats for this fella! He is good with smaller dogs but hasn’t been off leash around big ones in awhile. However, on leash, he does not engage if another dog is “too much” and backs away. This boy already has his schooling down   and knows basic commands and is house trained. He neutered and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Ready to meet this handsome hunk? Apply today! Ace is waiting in Harrisburg, PA and can’t wait to meet you!  New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Story
Say hello to Pepper! Some of his favorite things? First and most important..CRINKLE toys! OMG, Pepper will play toss the toy until you say stop and have so much more fun if the toy crinkles or squeeks! He can be a snuggle bug and when he is ready to chill, he wants to be at your side or cozied up in his dog bed with his blankie. Pepper loves other dogs and is good with cats. He loves all humans (especially those who come with toys LOL). Pepper is a brave boy because he lives with a degenerative disc in his spine which slightly limits his ability to jump or step up more than 2-3 steps at a time. But boy can he trot himself down the stairs and he loves to go on short walks around the neighborhood. He is mostly house trained and prefers to keep a belly band on for the small occasional dribbles and he keeps on a pretty regular potty schedule to prevent accidents in the house! He is crate/playpen trained. This sweet 4 year old, 14 lb Min-Pin mix is waiting to fill your life with joy! Pepper is UTD on vaccinations and neutered. He is hanging out in Harrisburg , PA! Story
Toby here! Can you hear me? I can hear you with my large radar ears. Some say they are my cutest quality but there is so much more to me than just my ears, read on to see if we are a match! Toby is a 4 year old 52 lb shepherd mix. He is a smart boy who has had professional training so has all of his basic commands down pat. Toby has shown some guarding behaviors in the past so an owner who can be his pack leader is needed. Toby will begin training for these behaviors with Gypsy K9. He has lived with children though and gets along with all humans big and small. He has been living as an only dog in his home, but has acclimated well with dogs in foster home! Cats are unknown at this time. Toby is house and crate trained, but he is such a good boy he can be trusted outside of the crate when home alone. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives and a heartworm survivor! Toby will be waiting in Harrisburg, PA. Get your application in and once approved you can meet this sweet boy and fall in love. Story
Meet Roxie, the sweetest little cuddle bug who will melt your heart! Roxie is a 1.5 year old 55 pound mixed breed, full of personality! She is a playful little girl who can keep herself busy playing with her toys and enjoys a game of fetch in the yard. But most of all she LOVES to cuddle and get endless belly rubs from her humans. Roxie has come a long way with her comfort with other dogs and has shown she can live happily with other dogs in the household. She loves people of all ages, young and old! Here’s some things about Roxie.  Totally housebroken.  Sleeps in her crate without a fuss.  Doing great with basic commands.  She’s a smart girl, willing to learn and please.  Lives in a foster home with cats.  Roxie needs some work on leash skills but I believe she’ll come around quickly with good and consistent training. Roxie is up to date on all vaccines. She is fostered in Wellsville. All she needs is a loving family to make her life complete. Maybe that lucky family is yours??
