Story
I own a husky couple that’s been mated for life. King is their child, I had sold him off as a puppy when he was only 2 months old but now 7 years later that family brought him back to me. He does not get along with his father so I can’t have him in my home. I need him out asap. Other than problems with other dogs he is trained, potty trained, and relaxed at home when he is alone with his owners.

Story
We took Benny in at 5 months, he needed a home. We sent him to a trainer to help us. Benny is not your normal husky, he likes the outdoors but also wants to be indoors. Benny is very hyper, likes walks in the rain but doesn’t like to be alone when it’s raining. He gets very anxious. Sometimes you have to hang out with him. He does not sleep out at all. He does have a sensitive stomach, he walks a little crooked. We had X-rays taken of his lower back to make sure he was ok. We were told it’s probably how his previous owner had him tied up. He’s sweet, loves back rubs. My fiancé got sick and we can’t attend to Benny’s needs.. I love him and want someone to understand Benny is not your normal husky. My heart is sad but I need him to have a better home and to be happy and the attention he requires. Please reach out and we can talk. We do not feed him any table food. He eats Royal cane dried dog food.He eats twice a day. It’s very important to us that Benny finds a loving attentive home.

Story
Meet Rosie 🌹 Rosie is a gentle soul who takes her time getting to know new people—but once she feels safe, her sweet and loyal nature really begins to shine. She’s most comfortable when given space to settle in at her own pace, and she feels more at ease with people she’s had the chance to build trust with. Rosie may need a few visits to truly warm up, but for the right person or family, she’s well worth the wait. She’s not particularly interested in toys or treats—but if you’ve got hotdogs, you might just be her new best friend! Rosie prefers calm, quiet environments and would do best in an adult-only home where she can feel safe and understood. She walks nicely on leash, though she’s happiest spending time in a secure yard where she can explore and relax on her own terms. Rosie is looking for a patient and loving home that will give her the time she needs to feel comfortable—and in return, she’ll give her heart. She would thrive in an adult only home. If you are interested in meeting Rosie, make sure to fill out an application at animalcareleague.org!

Story
Meet Benjy! Benjy is a sweet, young husky with a whole lot of personality packed into one fluffy body. He’s energetic, fun, and incredibly loving—the kind of dog who makes every day feel a little brighter just by being around. He’s always ready to move, explore, and be part of whatever you’re doing. He’s done well on pack walks with another dog and would likely enjoy having a dog friend who can keep up with his energy and play style. Benjy enjoys being social, but he also really loves connecting with his people and being included. Benjy is looking for a home that understands his energy and enrichment needs, including daily exercise, mental stimulation, and quality time are important to him. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality. If you’re looking for an active, loving dog who will keep you laughing and moving, Benjy might be your perfect match. Please fill out an adoption questionnaire at animalcareleague.org if you would like to meet this handsome man!

Story
Smart, affectionate, and loyal, Falco is truly the epitome of a good boy. He takes some time to meet new people, but once he is your buddy, he'll never go back! This sweet boy comes preloaded with a bunch of tricks to show off, including: sit, down, heel, center, paw, other paw, spin, turn, and many more! If you are a husky lover, and preferably experienced with dogs or open to committing to training, there is no better dog for you than Falco! Weight: 60 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Yes! They will potty outside every time or nearly every time (rarely has accidents). Crate-trained: Unknown! They have never been crated while in foster care. Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training. Dog sociability: They like them! They enjoy the company of dog friends, but would be just as happy to be an only dog in the home. Cat sociability: They do not do well with cats! They will chase, bite, attack, or otherwise harm or frighten cats. Kid sociability: No kids, please! They are afraid of kids or reactive toward them, or they have a history of behaviors that make them incompatible with children. Likes: His human friends, his dog friends, being a silly goose, going on walks, telling you about his opinions Dislikes: Bad listeners Falco takes time to warm up to new people, but once you're his friend you're his friend til the end! Because of that, he does require multiple introductions with potential adopters before he can go home with them. Please send us an email if you'd like to start getting to know Falco! If you’d like to meet Falco, please fill out an adoption application at animalcareleague.org/adoptions and send us an email at adoption@animalcareleague.org!

Story
Blue and his sister Sassy came from a situation where they lived outside in a fenced in yard, but didn't have a lot of socialization. Their human passed away and that is why FOCCAS took over care. The two of them started out very shy and wary of everyone. Since being at the rescue, they have learned to trust people. Blue is much more confident than Sassy, but would still need a patient person to continue to build his confidence. He looks forward to walks using a gentle leader, treats, and attention from volunteers. Blue is ready for adventure with a fun family!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Blue's adoption fee is $300.
