Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Looking for foster or adopter for these 2 bonded Huskies: The following is from the owner: Looking for a loving forever home for Coco & Hunter! It breaks my heart to have to make this post, but due to a change in our home situation and work life, we are looking for a new home for our two beautiful purebred Siberian Huskies, Coco and Hunter — and they need to stay together! â¤ï¸ Coco is a sweet girl born 12/14/2018, and Hunter is our handsome boy born 8/5/2019. They are both incredibly sweet, loving dogs who love attention, cuddles, and being around their people. They are great with kids and other large dogs, but would do best in a home without small dogs. They LOVE being outside, playing in the snow, going on adventures, and, of course, being Huskies, they absolutely love to serenade the neighborhood with their songs . They are definitely vocal and have plenty of personality! Both Coco and Hunter are spayed/neutered. We are looking for a loving, responsible family who can give them the time, attention, activity, and love they deserve. We really want them to find a home together and as soon as possible. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and we want nothing more than for them to have a wonderful life filled with love and attention. â¤ï¸ If you would like to learn more, please submit an interest form on our website: https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Adoption fees range from $525-$650, depending on the individual animal* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention. *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.* Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2026, 1:10 pm

Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Name: Yuki Sex: Female Color: Isabella White Eye Color: Brown Birthday: 11/15/20 Weight: 49lbs Large Dog Friendly: Yes, good with new dogs she meets. Does best with male dogs. Small Dog Friendly: So far, she has been good with the few smaller dogs she has met on leash. Cat Friendly: NO - very high prey drive. Crate Trained: Very short periods of time, and only while we are home. Trusted to free roam when we’re not home, but our home is pretty much husky-proof. Has a history of harming herself when crated in her first foster home. Housebroken: Yes, she will let you know when she needs to go out. Energy Level: She has her calm times and long naps, and she also gets zoomies and loves to play rough a few times a day like most huskies. She loves walks and loves to be outside watching squirrels or bunnies in a fenced yard. Reaction to New People: Good with adults and older kids. Working on manners and socialization. Kid Friendly: Older, calmer kids are best for her. Smaller children make her nervous, especially if they get too close too fast. Training: She knows the basics; sits before getting her food dish and is pretty good at coming when called. Could use some better leash manners but has improved. She really wants to meet and play with other friendly dogs on walks. She would likely benefit from some socialization to gain confidence in new/public situations. Like most huskies, she is a runner, so caution by the doors and getting in and out of the car is needed. Grooming Needs: Normal husky coat brushing about once a week or so, more when blowing her coat. She does shed less than other huskies we’ve had, her fur is on the shorter side which helps. Does okay with baths but only needs that once or twice a year. Gets dirty while playing, but the dirt tends to fall off quickly – it’s a husky thing. Fence: Yuki would do best with at least a 4-foot-high fence, 6 feet would be better. She loves to be outside; rain or snow do not bother her much. She hasn’t tried to dig out lately but is a true husky escape artist so should be supervised even with a fence! Solo or Siblings: Yuki would do best with a male dog with lots of energy to match hers in play. Preferably male husky (or other high energy dog) around her age or younger. Once she got comfortable in her foster home, she started being less tolerant of female dogs in the home. We’ve been working on that. She could also do well as a solo dog, with lots of play and attention to get her energy out. From the Foster: Yuki is a sweet, furry little princess who loves attention and belly rubs. She has her relaxation times and has her zoomies and loves to play. She’s a bit shy and hesitant in new situations and would benefit from socialization and group training class. Like a typical husky, she loves to run, climb, jump etc, so may also benefit from joring or agility classes. She loves attention and belly rubs; she will lay on her back and paw at you or reach out to you for more if you stop. She is quite a talker, like many huskies are, and when the neighborhood dogs bark, she howls to join in. She is an all-around adventurous, loving, curious and goofy girl who may be shy and nervous at first, but who settles in fairly quickly to be her true husky self. She would love to have a more mature human or family to experience life with, and to help her learn to enjoy the world

Story

Name: Shilo Sex: Female Color: Black & White Eye Color: Blue Birthday: 07/29/17 Weight: 63lbs Large Dog Friendly: Yes. Small Dog Friendly: Yes. Cat Friendly: Yes. Is interested but shows no aggression. Crate Trained: NO, does not like crates. Housebroken: 95% - As long as she is let out enough she does fine. Energy Level: Low. Very mellow gal. Reaction to New People: Timid at first but will easily warm up to people, especially if they have a treat! Kid Friendly: Has met kids and done fine. She is shy and an older gal so may not be keen on super active kids. Training: Minimal Grooming Needs: Typical husky who sheds twice a year. She keeps herself very clean. She like to chew her toe nails so that is a plus 😆 Fence: Does fine on a tie out and in the fenced yard. Solo or Siblings: She would love having another dog. She has never been an only dog so not sure she would be good solo. Guess it would depend on how much activity she got with her family. From the Foster: Shilo came to AAH from a puppy mill. Her first 8 years she was momma to many puppies. She didn't know much about how to just be a pet dog so has been slowly learning that at her foster home. In her foster home she has lots of dog friends of all sizes and breeds. She likes them all. She isn't much of a player herself but loves to critique the other dogs as they play. Shilo has been cat tested and did very well. Was interested in what the fuzzy thing was but had no aggression at all. Shilo has almost mastered potty training. She has no signal to say she has to go. Her foster mom just knows her normal potty times and lets her out. She loves the outdoor dog yard and will sleep belly up in the sun or shade to pass the time. She has learned to walk on a leash and does great. No worries about her pulling as she has a very easy pace. These breeder release momma dogs deserve a special home that understands their past and willing to help them learn what a real home is. Shilo is the sweetest girl and will make a wonderful dog for someone willing to give her the love and care she deserves. Adoption Fee: $275 All dogs coming into Adopt a Husky Minnesota receive care tailored to their needs, including: Nose-to-tail exam with a partner veterinarian, Vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Bordetella), 4DX test to check for heartworm or tick exposure, Fecal Analysis, Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative, Spay/Neuter prior to adoption, Microchip, and are evaluated for temperament and trainability.
