Story
Miss Honey is a very sweet and cuddly dog. She loves attention! She startles easily and has nipped at both dogs and people (out of fear). She is completely blind and recently had one eye removed. UTD on all vaccines, approximately 10 years old, and housebroken. She would like to be an "only child" but she also does great around all her foster siblings (so she does adjust okay). She is really the best little dog and gets around so well despite being blind. This info was provided by Miss Honey's foster mom: "When Miss Honey first came to us, she was confused. Her eyes were painful and she had just left a home where she had possibly spent her entire life. We weren't sure if she had been around other dogs, so that was an adjustment. She was shy and didn't really know how to react toward other dogs - she would growl, but would also be wagging her tail. She would snap and not really attack, but she has never actually bitten a dog or person. In only a few days, her cute personality began to show. She went to the eye specialist, who verified that she is completely blind. Miss Honey had a dental and one of her eyes removed. She's very happy and will even walk on a leash. I've found that what at first appeared to be aggression or dominance toward other dogs might actually be Miss Honey trying to play. She doesn't seem to have a good sense of smell and can't find her food bowl easily, but her hearing is great. She's very loving and a great cuddler. She does good with a routine. She will bark if she is outside alone and she is housebroken."

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This sweet, spunky, full-of love, blind girl is looking for an mom/dad who is agile, quick on their feet, can carry 15 lbs with ease, is willing to stay outside while Lacey goes potty and loves to snuggle on the couch. Lacey Is potty trained but gets nervous by herself and won't go potty unless you wait for her. She gets excited and does circles in front of you and sometimes right into your legs. She loves to burrow in blankets, is food motivated and has quite a personality! She might do ok with a very easygoing quiet dog, but would do better as the only dog. She loves to wrestle gently with her owner when she hasn’t seen them in a while and tends to be mouthy but doesn’t bite. She learns her environment well but does fall down or off stairs when she is distracted or if things are moved around.

Story
Marble is 5 years old, mixed breed, not sure exactly which breeds we have taken our best guess at heeler/corgi. She loves people, will say hello to anyone and everyone and is very good with kids. She is a pretty low energy dog. A couple walks a day tire her out. She loves playing fetch and gets tired after just 10 mins of that! Is the perfect dog in the house, she just wants to lie by you and get a belly rub. Well behaved around food, very treat motivated, she knows sit, lay down, roll over and shake! She takes time to warm up to new dogs, and does bark at larger dogs when on a walk. We got her from a shelter when she was 3 and they didn't know much about her history as she was dropped off. She would do best in a house as she does whine a little due to some separation anxiety but this could be overcome with training.

Story
Sup? I’m Beverly, or Bev for short (I like the attitude it gives me). I’m looking for my perfect home where I can be your world, and in turn, you’ll be my world! I looked up the classic perception of a chihuahua and said, “hold my bear”. Oh yeah, I’m obsessed with my little toy bear that the nice lady Kim gave me. I will throw tantrums if I don’t know where it is, and I’m really good at playing fetch with it! I’ll even bring it right back to you if I feel like you’re worthy enough. My foster mamma says that I’m the perfect dog in the right conditions, whatever that means, I think I’m perfect in all conditions. I’ve heard her say that I should be the only animal in the home, and I totally agree! Why would you want to give your attention to anything else?! By the way, do you know what “fun police” means? She keeps calling me that and I have a feeling it’s kind of rude..? I mean what’s not to love? I have the cutest little “boot-scootin-zoomies”. I love to roll and scratch my back, and I give the meanest cuddles. You don’t need anything beyond me! Once you’re in with me, you’re in for life! Here’s the thing: I’m very untrusting and feel the need to defend myself even though I don’t have anything to worry about, but I’m still coming around to learning that. A soft voice and gentle hands is all I need to learn that I’m not in harm's way. That being said, I am a one (maybe two) person dog. I’ve got A LOT of love to give but I prefer to spend my time giving it all to YOU. I also have heckin’ separation anxiety, so please keep with you at all times, I promise you I’m really good at chillin' in your lap or in a bed on your desk. I’m also well potty trained, although sometimes I just like poopin’ in a warm room without you knowing still working on that one (hey- you gotta go when you gotta go man). I don’t like when other dogs get all up in my space and I DESPISE cats. Who even invented those things anyways? I also think any small mammal would be an excellent toy or treat, depending on how easy they are to get to. I pretty much think of myself as a feral human child. Like I said before, who needs all those stinky animals anyways? I’m super good on a leash and LOVE to go on long walks around the lake, I keep up really well! I love my Dino jammies, when I put them on I get crazy attitude, my foster momma calls me “Lil Miss Thang” when I’m in them! Did I mention I’m a good cuddler? Anyways, if you’ve taken the time to read this then I think you just might be my person. Are you “the chosen one”? Later, Bev

Story
Chancy is a wonderful boy! He's a mini-Aussie (possibly a mix). He is housebroken and crate trained and comes with his own kennel and mattress. Chancy is a high-energy boy who needs his walks and would do well with an active family. He's great with dogs and cats. He really enjoys relaxing next to (or on top of!) his people every chance he gets.
